This was a gem of a B&B. The best value you’ll find on this stretch of the coastal path. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast and central to Marloes and St Brides beaches and Skomer trips. You have the added benefit of staying in a traditional village with thatched cottage and a very nice pub restaurant. The owner kindly gave me a lift to the Skomer visitor centre when it looked like I might be late for the boat. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious! Every one of the 3 courses we had was excellent. The main fish dish was particularly exceptional due to the amazing and unique sauce. Service was very very good and the location is beautiful. Sian and Simon really care about the food experience they provide.

Visited 4 times whilst on holiday with 2 of these on a Sunday for a traditional Roast. The lunches were fabulous with plenty of meat, pots, huge Yorkshire puds and seasonal veg absolutely no complaints. One meal we ate outside as the sun was shining of which we both had Hunters Chicken which was again yummy. The fourth visit was on BH Monday and I chose the Curry which I found to be way too salty so I didn't eat much but everything else was really good. The waitress on BH Monday was particularly friendly just what I expect in hospitality and she makes you want to return.

Unexpectedly outstanding It is an unpretentious location..out the back of the Holiday Property Bond St Brides Castle. The stylishly decorated room would have wonderful views when it is not dark or raining. The food is brilliant. The local lamb in a very tasty source is amazing. Twice the quantity at half the price of anywhere else. We have visited many times and everything, including challenging items like Calamari are perfectly prepared. Wonderful to find chips dry and crispy on the outside, not mushy inside. The young and enthusiastic 'staff' are very accomplished and provide a 'Michelin' standard of service. A hidden gem …go now before they get that Star!

Nearly gave this place a miss due to previous reviews, but after speaking to a local, I was advised to give it a try. My wife, our two dogs and myself called in on the off chance mid-September 2024 for an evening meal. The Lobster Pot has been under new management since Easter. The owners are still finding out what is wanted by both locals and, at this time of year, the decreasing tourist sector. It is a typical pub grub menu, but as we were rather late eating, we were informed that a few items were sold out, so be prepared to adapt if your favourite dish is not available. I am not a vegetarian, but was recommended the vegetarian lasagne. It was delicious and served piping hot. Limited puddings but take what is on offer. Both the apple crumble and chocolate brownie were great. A choice of bottled cider, an IPA, which ran out as I was going for a second pint, so settled for a Felin Foel Double Dragon to round the night off. Lovely atmosphere and engaging in conversation with the owners, staff, locals and also a guest staying there made it a great memorable experience! Will definitely return next September to The Lobster Pot as we continue our trek along the coastal footpath. We wish everyone at this pub every success for the future!
