Visited 4 times whilst on holiday with 2 of these on a Sunday for a traditional Roast. The lunches were fabulous with plenty of meat, pots, huge Yorkshire puds and seasonal veg absolutely no complaints. One meal we ate outside as the sun was shining of which we both had Hunters Chicken which was again yummy. The fourth visit was on BH Monday and I chose the Curry which I found to be way too salty so I didn't eat much but everything else was really good. The waitress on BH Monday was particularly friendly just what I expect in hospitality and she makes you want to return.

Visited on a Saturday evening with our 3 children. The hospitality was extremely welcoming and it was obvious that this was a family run pub / restaurant, taking pride in the service they provide to customers. The food was outstanding and we weren’t waiting long (which is important with the kids). The menu catered really well for 2 slightly fussy little vegetarians whilst having a delicious specials board for adults. And to top it all the value was exceptional. It would be a shame not to visit if you’re in the area this is a real little gem to uncover.

I would not normally review, but this place is amazing! My family and I came here for dinner whilst on holiday in the local area. From the minute we arrived the staff were so friendly and we were taken care of so well. The food was exceptional and some of the best pub food I have had in a long while. If I am back in this area I would 100% come again.

The Brook Inn is the whole package. Everything you desire in a coastal country pub. Beautiful surroundings, a stream running across the boundaries. The interior with a dual aspect log burning fire, inviting bar with local bears and spirits and super attentive bar and waitress staff. A great menu with the addition of an ever changing specials menu, using local produce where possible. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

A warm welcome was extended to us by the owner of this establishment as we walked into the bar. There was a cosy atmosphere - helped by a roaring log fire - both in the bar and in the separate restaurant area. We were shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff and drinks brought to us. The 'specials' menu contained appetising sounding fish dishes and the regular menu offered half a dozen dishes including a vegetarian option. I chose cod wrapped in parma ham - that came with a pearl barely salad, pea puree, marsh samphire and layered, sliced potatoes (Anna potatoes). It did not disappoint! Every mouthful of the dish was sumptuous. My husband had beer battered fish with homemade chips - the batter was beautifully crisp and the cod white and fresh. My son really enjoyed the gammon steak with pineapple, egg and homemade chips. Both this and the fish and chips came with a freshly prepared salad garnish and the portions were very generous. Throughout - the serving waitress was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All in all - I feel that the food we ate at The Brook was delicious, freshly cooked with good portions and prepared by a chef who definitely, definitely knows their stuff!! Additionally - if offered great value for money. We will certainly be back for more!

We had Sunday lunch here while on holiday, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The pub is a lovely traditional pub with the nicest staff, great jukebox tunes (‘Leaving on a jet plane’, ‘Rose Garden’), and an absolutely brilliant Sunday lunch. Super generous portions, all delicious. There’s no menu as such (beef, turkey, or both, plus a veggie option), tonnes of veg, two sorts of potatoes, Yorkshire pudding & gravy - all for just for £12.50! Definitely book so as not to miss out on having Sunday lunch at this brilliant place.

Just called in to the brook inn after following the signs from the coastal path and was greeted with a very warm welcome by the landlady of the pub, the menu looked amazing and the hardest part was deciding what to have as it all looked amazing, in the end I went for the home made tomato soup which was to die for and for the main meal I had chicken tikka massala which I spotted on the specials board, which again was amazing and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the area, I would of loved a pudding but I had no room left after the great sized portions that was served and the price was very reasonable and the 2 pints of Guinness I had washed the food down lovely 5****

We stumbled across this pub after spending a very cold, wet and windy morning at the beach collecting sea shells with our boys and thank goodness we did find this place. The pub is lovely and cosy inside and we were immediately welcomed by Sally. She gave lots of attention to our boys aged 2 & 4 which they really enjoyed. We ordered 1 children’s meal of sausage & chips and 2 steak pies. Sally kindly split the children’s meal into 2 and both boys had generous portions. The pies were delicious, the best we’ve had in a pub for ages! Sally was very attentive throughout our visit and even helped by telling us where the best place would be to go crabbing and provided us with a tide timetable which was most helpful. The Brook Inn is a welcoming pub that serves good pub grub. All four of us had the chicken curry and unanimously agreed that it was excellent. The spices had had time to infuse into the meat and would have been prepared earlier in the day (or made in advance then frozen and pulled from the freezer on demand). The secret of good Indian cuisine is allowing the flavor to develop. A curry often tastes better on the second day!! Most Indian restaurants simply add the curry sauce ti the meat before serving.

Flavor filled food and service with a smile is how I will remember this place. I walked in and the bar was surrounded with locals. As I had got there at 5:55 and the food service was going to start in 5 min, I got a beer and settled down. The place is cozy and it has enough seating on the inside. Since it was a gloomy cold day, everyone was inside. There were a couple of specials on the board and I tried the beef madras curry with rice and chips and it came with a side of naan and mango chutney. The curry had the right kind of flavor..not too spicy or mild. I was very happy to finally eat a curry that was flavored the way it should be...instead of a standard flavor that every curry has. There was a good quantity of rice. I was alone but ended up having dinner with a couple. They ordered the pies and were happy with it. The waitress was very nice and everything was done with a smile and excellent service. The place started to slowly fill up by 6:30 pm and I can see it being packed on a sunny day. They also have free wi-fi.

Outside there is a big sunny sheltered beer garden with big wooden tables. Inside is a large woodburning stove. We ate lunch here (good fish and chips) and came back again later in the week for an evening meal (welsh curry, yes really welsh with leeks!) ready for the weekly jam session. We often stay in Marloes and drive to the Brook inn for lunch. You feel very relaxed hear and can enjoy good food and a selection of fine ale. Very popular and even when they have a special event and the place is jammed the...

The newish owners (since December '14) have spruced up the inn, boosted the quality of food and brought in some good ales. Not everything has worked - the interior could do with a rethink to make it less austere - but the key aspects of...

This place was the only place nearby. But would have been very happy even if I'd had to drive. It was local. Felt local. Very friendly. Good choice of food and drink. Made to feel very welcome by owners and locals. You won't be disappointed

I also found the food over priced and mediocre i'm afraid i couldn't recommend the Brook, The place is nice but very like a cafe inside with mismatched furniture.

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

It was a rainy Sunday in Pembrokeshire. We were hungry, and a Google search pointed this place out. We almost knew what to expect and fancied a chinnese. Anyone with physical limitations do not try to access. No lights to the path and pitch dark. Once you're in it's cold and sparse. A few tables to accommodate sit downs but this place runs mostly on take aways. The cook was very busy. A young man taking orders, serving and dealing with customers coming in and out. Bit chaotic. We kept our coats on ate our dishes, which were nicer than expected. Worth a venture ... some fun a bit like faulty towers. We would go back.
