An amazing menu of delicious and varied dishes. Lots of vegetarian adaptations of the menu too. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. A perfect meal so thank you very much to David for organising this special meal.

We went for an early dinner for my Grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and were extremely pleased by the great food and attentive service. The team were great at making sure the dinner was special, by providing a bottle for the table already displayed for arrival, with the table decorated to match and with the extra special touch of a written sign from the team congratulating my grandparents for their 60 years together. The Ty winch is a fabulous pub, perfect for all occasions and you are guaranteed for a lovely time, I would highly recommend and will continue to be a favourite of ours.

not bad place, quite busy during thee lunchhour, so bit difficult finding a seat, so watch out for that, fast music, eat to the beat. Eat quick.

A great pub in Cardiff bay away from the business of Mermaid Quay. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Wednesday nights are quiz nights which is always fun. Friday nights are great as they have DJ Bobby Smooth who plays chill out RnB. Saturday nights it's DJ Silver who gets the whole pub dancing with his 90s garage and RnB. Sunday they do the best Sunday lunch in Cardiff - highly recommend trying it! Big portions! The owner Shaun is super friendly as are the bar staff including Bev, Owain and Marcel who always go above and beyond with their service. What started as just "popping in for the odd one" we are now firm regulars and wouldn't look to go anywhere else. Everyone is there to have a drink and a good time, don't hesitate in joining in!

First off the restaurant is now above Jackson's fish bar in the Castle Arcade - not the address (at time of writing) on this page! The place has just 5 tables is run by a team of two, who put heart, soul and passion into making a great and unique dinning experience. I was wowed by about 4 of the 6 courses (and the others were great as well). It is an experience restaurant - expect to be there for 3 hours - the restaurant isn't flash. The chef wants a relaxed "normal" environment. It's not posh. And I loved the whole experience all the more for it. A memorable night and some amazing food.

El mejor helado en Cardiff. Muy impresionado con los sabores y la cremosidad de este helado. Ciertamente rivaliza con el helado que he comido en Italia.

Mi esposa y yo (pre-hijos y caos diario) solíamos viajar de Cardiff a Brecon regularmente para comprar en Llanfaes. Nos alegramos cuando Llanfaes abrió un salón más cerca de casa en 2023. Nuestros niños ahora pueden disfrutar del helado Llanfaes Dairy cada vez que visitamos Cardiff Bay - helado seguido de Welsh Cakes frente a la sala! Nuestra anterior heladería favorita en Cardiff era Coco Gelato, pero la calidad del helado producido por Llanfaes lo pone en otro nivel que todas las demás heladerías de Cardiff. Helado de primera calidad servido en porciones generosas. Muy recomendable.

Attended private function (50+ guests). Really nice staff offering great service. Wine list was good and not too expensive. The three course banqueting menu was very very good (best beef for long time) as was the downstairs dining room we dined in. Waiting staff were friendly and professional. Would strongly recommend

Jack is unbelievably helpful. Love you so much Jack you legend you Jack is a wonderful actor, he’s see a whale and he can surf and apparently went to Oxford but definitely the 1 lie out of the 3 truths. Love you Jack you absolute legend

Used to be great but recently the quality of food has gone down a lot - the chips have taken a massive hit in particular which to me is the staple of honest burgers :(

Fui a la cena de cumpleaños de mis nietos. Las áreas de juego exterior e interior son excelentes y se puede ver a los niños jugando. 3 Los adultos comieron filetes o curry y las comidas de los niños fueron generosas e incluyen un brote de fruta y un pequeño helado. La comida es casera y previamente cuando los miembros de la familia tenían la lasaña realmente la han disfrutado. El curry era un tikka masala casero y me gustó. Estoy acostumbrado a hacerlas desde cero y esto fue casero y agradable con generosas cantidades de pollo. No sé cómo lo hacen, pero las patatas fritas son como las mejores patatas fritas de la tienda de patatas fritas y crujientes. No es comida súper elegante, pero se hace bien y excelente para niños y adultos. PS el Guinness era bueno también. Siempre una señal de un gran pub!

The staff are so kind! Always updating me on what is new and giving me the opportunity to try new things! I had a strawberry and banana iced matcha that was a 10/10 the other day! The vibes in the cafe are also so good. Great for studying, working, chill meetings over a coffee or just chilling with friends.
