We recently enjoyed a gathering at Y Sgwar with a group of 24—12 adults and 12 children—and it couldn’t have gone better. From the start, Lorraine and Cassy were incredibly helpful in organising everything, making sure our large group would have a smooth experience. Their suggestion to pre-order our meals worked perfectly, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy themselves without any delay. The food was fantastic—beautifully presented, served at just the right temperature, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear the kitchen took great care with each one. Both the adults and children had a variety of options that were truly enjoyed by all, adding to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Quaint little cafe, great food and helpful staff.

Stopped here for Sunday lunch, it was ok, nothing amazing. The food was served instantly which made us think it had been heated up in the microwave. Roast potatoes were very dry but the roast beef was good. Dogs are welcome and were given a treat by the staff which was a nice touch.

A spectacular hotel. We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to have stayed here. Rooms were spotlessly clean, the bathrooms were fantastic (had a lovely long soak in the roll top baths). Boutique hotels try to recreate these features, this hotel has them for real. The staff were so polite, professional and helpful, showing us to the outside swimming lake and sauna. I can’t say enough to praise this gem of a hotel. I strongly recommend booking here. Excellent cask ale at the bar too Helpful notes: Breakfast is at 8:30 Dinner is at 7:30 There is WiFi

Amazing staff, very friendly. Room was clean with plenty free coffee and tea. Amazing food. Walking up Snowdon and wanted to relax, nice peaceful place. Amazing

Lovely place to stay Room clean and tidy and well stocked,various teas , coffee, bottles water and biscuits . Staff very friendly and welcoming Great breakfast and well worth the money Great food in the pub Lovely location We had a great 2 day stay and would definitely go back Ideal place to stay for climbing Mount Snowdon
