The best cakes and coffee in Aberdeen. Great service :) Perfect taste and consistency of cheesecake and delicious coffee.

This cafe has changed its name to Bagel Society and it is really good. The food is superb, I would recommend the El Diablo bagel. The service is good. The prices are reasonable, we were £14 for two bagels. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

Just had Afternoon Tea at The Chinwag Cafe, Newmachar and thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s a definite ’must have’. We are very lucky to have this great cafe on our doorstep. The food is faultless (especially the strawberry tarts 😂) and the staff are warm, welcoming and cheery. I highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a fabulous hotel. We just spent a gorgeous festive weekend & it could not have been more perfect. The staff are beyond helpful & kind. The food is delicious & it is a magical Christmas scene

Estábamos buscando un buen lugar para celebrar un 25 aniversario de boda y después de escuchar cosas buenas sobre The Esslemont pensamos en probarlo. Su ubicación céntrica es perfecta para cualquier persona que viaje dentro o fuera de la ciudad con estacionamiento local y opciones de transporte cerca, es perfecto. Gran saludo a Simón que nos hizo sentir como en casa, mostrándonos a nuestra mesa, explicando el menú y sirviendo un poco de nozeco para celebrar! Nos aseguramos de que fuera un domingo, ya que todos estaban deseando probar sus asados muy especiales. Encontramos que los precios en el menú eran bastante altos, pero debido a la ubicación y la naturaleza del restaurante se esperaría una gran experiencia gastronómica. Desafortunadamente encontramos que el asado del domingo era bastante promedio con pollo servido en los huesos en lugar de en rodajas y con un miembro de nuestro grupo solo recibiendo una rodaja de carne de res ya que se habían agotado. Es un asado muy caro para lo que es y no se sentía como si tuviera una gran relación calidad-precio, aunque podría cambiar dependiendo de lo ocupado que haya sido un día. También me entusiasmó probar la crema brûlée, pero es un elemento del menú "verano" desafortunadamente, así que tuvimos que optar por un brownie o el pudín de toffee pegajoso en su lugar. Todo sabía bien, pero no vale la pena el precio con el tamaño de la misma. El Esslemont en general era bueno con la comida que se sirve fresca y caliente, el ambiente era muy bueno con el personal que es muy amable y su ubicación es un lugar ideal para una ocasión especial en Aberdeen!

Popped in for a quick bite while shopping. Usually looks busy when I've passed, but quieter today, so pick of the tables. Quickly brought menus and specials mentioned. Partner opted for soup of the day and an ultimate cheese toasties, while I settled on the fishcakes (daily special) and fries. Soup was tasty and came with some toasted roll. Ultimate toastie was loaded with cheese in chunky loaf and got the seal of approval Fishcakes were also very good. Worth a visit.

Best bagel!!!! This was the best lunch ive had in aberdeen for a long time the bagel was tip top will be going back again soon!

Have used the saddlery many times,but this time very disappointing,feel the quantity and the quality of the food,was no where near as good as previous visits, no ham on the savory menu...not everyone likes salami and other charcuterie...also asked for scones with the savory,prepared to pay,but they didn't have any,spoilt what should have been a lovely 70th birthday treat

Esta mañana tomé un descarado panecillo de desayuno para llevar y una taza de té. He estado aquí varias veces para desayunar y siempre es genial, el personal es amable y la comida siempre es buena. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. . el mejor café frente al mar. !
