The Dog House has such a unique and cozy atmosphere! It’s a great place to relax, with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. The fact that it's dog-friendly makes it even better—plenty of pups around to brighten your day! The decor is quirky, the drinks are great, and they play old music, which is a huge plus. It really adds to the charm of the place. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Edinburgh

Maybe I'm jaded after having lived in New York for 4 years, but this business says New York style bagels and they most certainly are not. Very mediocre and overpriced bagel. Their veg cream cheese is very good, but overall I wouldn't return.

I was trying the new menu and it was really interesting. Bold flavours playing with Scottish products. Plenty of veggie and vegan options out of the classic (the vegan pastrami sandwich was amazing). Affordable prices. 100% recommended.

I've been here for many times, had my graduation party here with my family and had regular parties with friends here as well. The staff are very nice and patient, food is really amazing！

A really friendly Pub. Bar staff great. Also price of drink good with some really good offers. The best update I can give is NOTHING has changed thankfully. Long may this continue. Cheers

We walked into the beer garden with a dog and my family, and a very rude server with a bald head and a moustache who looked like he’d rather be anywhere else than serving the public walked past, made no eye contact and just said “no dogs”, there was no welcome, no politeness at all about the man. Would not recommend him staying in hospitality. Not to mention there was already a dog happily sitting with other patrons. If this is the initial greeting that everyone gets then repeat business will be hard for you to get.

Estábamos de regreso de un día en la costa y a todos nos apetecía el pescado y las patatas fritas y vimos este lugar. ¡Guauu! ¿Deseamos haber pasado por allí? Todos pedimos pescado y patatas fritas. Mi esposa fue la que entró en la tienda, mientras ella estaba allí, pellizcó un chip de nuestro pedido y preguntó "¿eran todos así?", El miembro del personal respondió "sí, son chips cocinados tres veces". usted, no lo son, o si lo son, son chips congelados triplemente cocidos. El pescado no estaba tan mal. Estábamos devastados por decir lo mínimo y tiramos la mayor parte de la comida.
