Visited on Sunday morning for breakfast. Had the best scrambled egg on toast I’ve ever tasted - and a cappuccino. (Which was also very nice). Can’t wait to visit again soon… I’d recommend reserving a table in advance because the restaurant was very busy - even at 9am!

Cocinado a la perfección y las patatas fritas eran encantadoras y 'seco' bastante aceitoso como se puede obtener de algunas tiendas de pescado y patatas fritas. El pescado estaba delicioso y la masa era preciosa seca y crujiente. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar si usted está buscando delicioso pescado con papas fritas en Dundee.

Nice amount of real ale on tap. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately another pub in Dundee that stopped serving food about 6.30 pm 🤷‍♂️

Boozy brunch was fab and the server a total legend Had to bail 4/6 drinks in but would deffo do it again thanks to the wee mad blonde who realised the queen of aperol needed her fix haha

They ruined this bar years ago when they ripped the old bar out but it's still a decent pub. W worth a visit 100%

Luego nos dirigimos a nuestra mesa en un salón oscuro a nuestra mesa poco iluminada, pedimos un refresco que llegó sin hielo y sin hielo en el vaso... ¡Así que la hora de la comida se conforma con buñuelos crujientes de cerdo y maíz! 10 minutos después no dijeron nada de buñuelos de maíz... ... . los entrantes llegan 3 / 10 para el aspecto y la presentación 6 trozos finos cortados sobre trozos crujientes flotando en una piscina de salsa de soja salada y el cerdo estaba muy lejos de ser salado, luego a la haggis mini Bon Bon Niza n crujiente pero montado en 4 pulgadas de espesor y plato completo de algún tipo de mostaza de miel mayo en lugar de una pequeña cucharada lateral pide una botella de agua helada nope por supuesto no agua tibia no hay hielo de nuevo para enfriarla... ... . Pasan 10 minutos después de tragar una botella entera de agua y nuestras comidas principales parecen haber sido servidas a la mesa de enfrente como el tipo dice “¡oh Dios mío eso es muy muy raro! Era mío. Así que las nuestras llegan las minas era simplemente raro (medio) y mi esposa está sobre cocinado (medio raro) 3 hongos empapados pequeña cucharada de patatas fritas sigilosas y una pequeña olla de salsa de pimienta en grano agua fría, recogido No vale la pena el recargo de £ 5 en los filetes de £ 32. Así que en esencia no regresaré pronto, me gusta ver lo que como cómo se ve en el plato y en qué flota... Triste realmente como el menú superó la comida

Markets itself as a as a fairly well to do venue however it very much is not. We were a group of 11 for my fathers birthday. We had to order in advance which I imagined should have allowed for a smooth fast service, it wasn’t even close. The mains for whatever reason started coming out with the starters, we sent the mains back. Starters were mediocre. Mains arrived 50 minutes later having obviously sat under the hot lamps of the kitchen pass for the duration so were very much dry. When raised with the server they said they would report it to the kitchen… nothing was done. What was edible was eaten and we waited another 50 minutes for desserts which were also mediocre. We were in the restaurant for 2.5 hrs which is an obscene amount of time for a 3 course meal never mind one that’s be en ordered in advance. The price of the dishes was at the very high end for what they were. It wasn’t busy at all there were around 15 other customers soon no idea what took so long. The place lacks atmosphere. The decor is naff and the choice of furniture is poor for a restaurant, getting in and out of the chairs around the table is difficult and the servers a forced to either lean over you or hand you the plates. The place could do so much better.

Even when busy the atmosphere is great here, quiet and relaxed at the 2 times we have visited which was between 7 and 9pm and 5-7pm. Food was really good on both occasions with a good selection and freshly cooked, Drinks also a good selection. Our server Lauren was brilliant, especially given how busy it was and how she made it look effortless, checking everyone's food was okay and attending to everyone's needs with ease and a smile.

Our go to Friday night chippy. ;-)
