I've never been in before. But mum said she had been in before and it was nice. When we went in there was no other customers. It was 2pm and we fancied a snack. I got a plain scone, but I had to get 2 as they were miniture, 2 of them would of made a normal sized scone. My eyes widened when my mum went to get the second and the girl said £3. Mum got a German biscuit since her raspberry and white chocolate scone was small. She said it was ok. We noticed that the sandwiches in the cooler were actually starting to curl. There was no toilets and had to use the public toilets next door to the cafe. So 3 mini scones, a German biscuit and 2 teas £17. I'll definitely not be going back here in a hurry.

Lovely place but disappointed by the lack of sides such as veg and badly made dauphinoise so tiny ! flavour not there ! and portions sizes not great. Overpriced for the underwhelming dining experience got the impression it was a 'cook' not a chef in the kitchen . Wine not great cheap plonk ..prices outrageous !

The prawns where ike rubber, The service was an absolute disgrace But when came to pay the bill they where back in 2 minutes. We sat for 3 hours for 2 courses

Oh my word. What a meal. Went in December 2023 to celebrate wedding anniversary. The dinner was *stunning*. We ordered the 'lamb rack for two' which was cut and served at the table. Beautifully cooked. It was like melt in your mouth lamb flavoured marshmallow. Crikey. Never had the likes of it before.

Lovely food, plesent staff, nice clean restruant. Visited many times with friends and family and always a good standard.

Watched about 6 overs of Sunday's game. A real treat.

My husband & I visited this lovely place having again having reserved a table in advance for 19:30 on Friday evening. We were warmly greeted and shown to a spacious table on the upper floor. Everything in sight was super clean, the restaurant was pleasantly furnished, and the music was suitably audible. With menus in hand we made our choice the wine which we had taken with us was served with a smile. As we sat we watched the 2 female waitresses working together in harmony and the scene was set for an enjoyable evening. It was very evident that those around us was enjoying themselves... the atmosphere was warm and friendly and we commented on the smiles of satisfaction as customers passed our table on their way out. The fillet steak which my significant other ordered came perfectly cooked, and my chicken maryland was moist with a crispy crumb! The accompanying selection of vegetables.… carrot, broccoli, and sweetcorn had just the right amount of ‘bite’ and the champ potatoes and french fries completed our main course(s). Although we hadn’t room for a dessert oursleves we witnessed the ‘oohs & ahhs’ of delight from those around us and we ended our meal with coffees & shortbread before settling our bill….. Which might I add, was not as expensive as other restaurants in the locality. A very lovely evening which we thoroughly enjoyed - we will return again soon and we’d recommend others do too! I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant . The food is of excellent quality and exceptional value. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended !

Service and food as always is great. Staff always interact with the kids which make it a great place to bring them!
