The best restaurants serving British food in East Ecclesfield Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

I really like the food here. The meat dishes are just always so good. Pork, lamb whatever it is it seems to be Vgood! The pies are also Vgood. It’s good that it’s small and intimate, just wish it was a little bigger, for table space that’s all. The Estrella Lager is a good pint and you can bring your own wine Never taken my own, the guy who owns it has perfectly good wine and it’s all reasonably priced. A meal for 4 people is around £140 and that’s with a starter, but only some of us having a dessert after.

Nos recomendaron The Miner's, así que pensamos en intentarlo por un cumpleaños familiar. Wow! ¡Qué lugar! Al cruzar la puerta nos transportaron de vuelta a una época de pubs adecuados, con el olor de la hermosa comida del pub. ¡Fue genial ver un negocio local bullir un viernes por la noche! Desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta tuvimos una cálida bienvenida y nos trataron como amigos. El servicio era excepcional y el ambiente muy relajante. ¡Entonces está la comida! ¡Fantástico! Comida casera apropiada. Maravillosos y impresionantes tamaños de porción. Mi marido tenía la hamburguesa del minero. ¡Fue épico! Si quieres buena hospitalidad en el viejo Yorkshire y comida increíble, tienes que ir a The Miner's. Definitivamente volveremos!

We have been coming to this place for a few years now never had any problems but today 26/04/2025 it was ridiculous we was never left alone been rush straight after starter there was out with the main even tho we asked to have it about 15 minutes later.the food was ridiculous not like before the chicken in my curry was like rubber sorry to say we won’t be coming back

Had an excellent meal at The Barrel on a Thursday afternoon. Chose from the lunchtime menu which offered a great selection at very reasonable prices. The fish and chips were excellent and I was told by one in our party the liver and onions was exceptional. The place has a warm atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. Will come again and can highly recommend.

Says buy one get one free on draught beers between certain hours, however if you order half a beer that does not count for buy one get one free .. big con

La ubicación y el lugar son hermosos, a pesar de que la comida es consistentemente muy pobre, recomendaría una visita (pero tal vez solo para una bebida! )

We always go to This cafe and we have never had any issues our food is always fresh and the staff go above an beyond ❤️thanks to the team for lovely service and lovely grub
