Have never ordered for takeaway from here normally dine in the restaurant and I can say that the food was piping hot after travelling home with it and the portion sizes are huge, never been disappointed with the food from here

Very impressive venue. Staff were all polite and courteous, and not too overbearing with checking if everything was OK. Plates cleared AFTER the last person finishes(normally me). Do recommend.

Garlic chilli chicken balti was brilliant best in town by a mile

We haven't eaten the food yet but the service was terrible. We ordered by phone and were told to collect in half an hour. We arrived on time and waited 40 minutes for our food. We were asked to pay within the first ten minutes. After this, no offers of drinks, pappadums, no apologies. A few times we stopped staff to ask what was happening and were told it would be with us soon. When it finally arrived and we expressed our disappointment they claimed one of our dishes took a long time to cook, which begs the question of why they didn't factor this in when they told us when to collect. There was no apology, no real explanation. We'd ordered a dish from a Chinese restaurant as well and had to call to postpone collection, eventually arriving an hour late. What annoyed us most was the total lack of remorse and the lying about why the order was late.

I’m also disappointed to be writing this. We’ve always really enjoyed jumaira, both as a takeaway and dining in. However tonight we ordered for delivery with an eta of 45 mins. 2 hours later, no food. It took 81 calls to get through to be told by the misogynistic, rude, manager to be told our order “wasn’t in the kitchen so must be out for delivery”. No apology, no recourse, driver (when finally arrived over 2 hours after ordering) was rude and didn’t want to know, no refund of the £5 delivery. Absolutely the poorest service I’ve ever experienced. I’m absolutely appalled by the service and unfortunately will not be returning.

It is saying “enjoy your food” but it hasn’t arrived

Visited with six friends. Excellent service. Very good food and reasonable prices. The toilet facilities in this type off restaurant sometimes let them down, this is not the case here. All public areas are clean and the decor is to a high standard (sounds like I’m selling it and I suppose I am really)

my chicken was still pink and looked undercooked .I was very disappointed ,has iv never had a bad meal from here .I ended up throwing it all away as once I'd seen this I couldn't eat it .

The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a lovely atmosphere, the food was so flavourful and the staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend. Aftab served us and was fantastic, Thankyou Aftab

Nice curry, good options really enjoyed

After seeing the amazing reviews, we decided to make the trip and try this place. We arrived and were quicky seated, our waiter came across as a bit rude at first but we soon knew he was just very dry and he was actually really funny, The tandoori chicken starter was good, the chicken pakoras were fresh but had definitely been fried in the same oil as the fish and left a fishy taste on the food. The rice, naan and chips were run of the mill but fresh. For mains we had a chicken madras and a garlic chilli chicken. Both of these were really bad. The spices in both dishes were raw and as a result left both dishes bland a bitter to the point it was unpleasant to eat. Yes we should have mentioned it to the waiter but we don't like to cause a fuss. Maybe it was just a one off as the reviews are so good but we won't be returning which is a shame. I would have loved to have given this place 5 stars as we had high hopes.

When something takes an hour and half to be delivered I expect it to be hot. Chips were dripping in sweat/water, curry luke warm and rice was like it had been warmed up. Not the best from here and when you’re paying £20odd for 1 curry I expect better

The chicken in the chicken jalfrezi was undercooked, really pink . I had to throw everything away . I don’t know how to attach a photo but I have photographic evidence

Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere, food was hot, fresh and tasted great.

First time of trying this place, based on reviews and hygiene ratings, we decided to give them a try. Unfortunately we won't be using them again. The food on arrival wasn't hot, the chicken they had used in two of the three main meals was a mixture of breast and thigh! It should only be chicken breast, chicken thigh is fatty and this proved to be in the case with these two maim meals of my wife's and my mum's. There was no flavour in these two meals either, all you could taste was hot spice. The meal I ordered was too runny in texture and the nan bread was burnt in quite a few places so had to be thrown away.

Nice but expensive. Really enjoyed the starter chicken wings. This is a treat for me.

went for a family party so quite a few of us booked in.was shown to our table straight away,ordered drinks food straight away.waited quite awhile for our mains but we didn’t mind,food was lovely,although all the children’s meals weren’t what was ordered. on finishing our meals the plates were quickly taken away,and we was told abruptly we had to leave as they needed the tables,still drinks on table.on talking to someone they’d waited an hour for our table,because they’d double booked.the staff were very rude to the point we won’t be returning.maybe for future reference tell people that you can only have the table for certain amount of time,instead of rushing people and making them feel uncomfortable!!

One of the worst experiences ever,to the point of the waitress come 10x asking how we gonna pay for the meal then took our order and asked for each one’s name to write on the tickets, that was weird then they kept coming and checking as if we needed to hurry and leave, maybe because we are black! Either way we all felt uncomfortable Never again

Great food. Found a table for 2 at short notice. Very friendly staff, they make you feel welcome. The service is very fast, they take your pickle tray and bring your starter within minutes, same for your main, theres no time to relax, talk and drink.

This is the first time me and the family has been.And our experience was just fabulous food was great cleanliness was brilliant. And the atmosphere was lovely this was mainly down to the staff especially aftab who was extremely helpful c and funny this our night more enjoyable. We will certainly be going again In the near future

Just some constructive feedback really, I order a korma for my kids and it’s always spicy. I order it specifically because a korma has no spice, so it’s just money and food wasted. Which has annoyed me. The lamb in the korma too was very gristly and fatty. The garlic nann was hard and dry and thin - which given we placed our order before you even opened, im confused. So don’t know if these were left over from yesterday. Needs some review on spices esp.

Jumeriah is a great place and served by lovely people. Aftab is a great server and always has us laughing. We come every week for a curry here.

Food was amazing as per the lamb was to die for and great service provided by Aftab would highly recommend

Hello. Called to find out if the food was halal? Was told all meat is halal so book table in advance. The guy was helpful and told me the information. Can't wait to try the food out.

Aahhh top food, good bears lovely setting. However i was missing a nan bread and the waiter was walking rather suspiciously. Anyway i got my nan bread and they evan put some brownish chutney on it fir free. I scofted it down but wasnt keen on the sweetcorn. Defo recommend.

The food was delicious. We also got a Christmas card and a voucher, which was valid from 1st January 2023 to 30th June 2023 (?)

On arrival at 2015 hrs with friends we were quickly shown to our table by an older waiter which happened to be in one of the coldest parts of the restaurant ..like a conservatory...on one of the coldest nights of the year. People were sat with their coats on. We asked him if we could be moved inside and was told by the waiter we couldn't. We were confused as there was plenty of tables available and dressed for use. On asking another waiter who moved us, the first waiter was clearly upset and it looked like he was telling the 2nd younger waiter off. The meal was served on cold plates and meals passed across my friends instead of coming round the table...poor service indeed. The first waiter then kept returning and asking if we'd finished. The main course was served in the same manner and again everything quickly removed and the bill given. During our visit no other customers appeared and they seemed in a rush to get rid of us. It was only 2130 hrs. However the food was spot on but we did find it strange to be served freshly sliced onions with onion bhaji's and nothing else. Don't think we will be going again.

Diabolical experience. Rude staff and awful food. It's a shame the building is not that bad. The manager was so arrogant and rude it's beyond belief. Avoid and don't go with any group. You'll sincerely regret it. Get ready for for a bad experience

The onion bhaji's were cold We asked for/ordered a cheese and onion garlic naan....this was just garlic We asked/ordered a chicken tikka bhuna we got standard chicken We was advised our order was ready for collection, when we got there we still had to wait. So all in all we were very disappointed with the service.

One of the dishes was missing 2 advertised ingredients (banana & pineapple) and one of the naan breads was a little burnt.

Quality curry . Not the best I have eaten but good all the same . Lamb was mutton which I much prefer anyway. It wasn't hot as described. Would have preferred it much more spicy . Too much Ghee . Mutton was tender and ingredients fresh . Mutter rice was nice too .

First ever sea food night here, absolutely stunning food, all the seafood was cooked to perfection, never had lobster or scallops in an Indian restaurant before, sincerely hope that this is the first of many of these nights, The Jumaira never fails to deliver quality food , but this was a cut above. Without doubt the best starter I’ve had anywhere. The seafood Karahi snd seafood Balti were both full of fish and flavour, a massive success, please please please let’s have another of these nights.

It is a lovely Pakistani restaurant with many delicious dishes although the liver curry turned out to be quite spicy but somewhat manageable. Fish pakora was yummy but it would have been better if there was a choice of where to sit since there was hardly much people dining in. Overall was a good choice.

As a family, we obsessed with this restaurant's grilled menu. My children state that thier" butter chicken is the best " and each of my friends I have introduced this hidden germ to come out planning to return soon. Discovered it via my take aways near me, dinning in is an even greatter ambiance. Definitely recommend 👌🥰

Absolutely tastiest curry and starter ever

Starters were good although the chicken chatt was quite spicy , the curries were full of oil and the only thing I could taste in the pathia was lemon , on the whole average at best .

Ordered an Afghani curry for the first time. WOW! Very impressive.

Came here for a date with my husband, Very happy with the food was served piping hot and on time with excellent members of staff to keep you entertained while you are here. Our server Aftab was so lovely ensuring we was happy with our food and drinks, and was a laugh so there was no dull moment while we was having our meal.
