Came here for Breakfast with friends was lovely.

Attended here for a family event and having always had excellent service I could not believe how rude certain members of staff were to paying customers who were being slightly noisy but for them to tell customers to shut up whilst in a service role was not only unprofessional but reflects badly on the management that this is acceptable behavior to be defended

This WAS my favourite pub until we was told to shut up by a rude member of staff. We have just won a huge game against Ecclesfield red rose ( UP THE NORTON ) and came for a celebration pint. We was ordering chicken strips n that and having a laugh them BOOM. Told to shut up by the member of staff. Never coming here again elmwood farm is better!!!

When me and my friend have the time to get together and we are fancying a carvery, we end up here 😉, the food is always lovely, the staff are really friendly too and they really do add to the atmosphere. We always come away feeling relaxed and a full belly, but we also end up ordering dessert to go as they are stunning. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great service, food was nice, friendly staff.Good atmosphere. Had a combo burger, very tasty. Sat and chatted with family for approx 3 hours, felt very comfortable.

Fantastic pub, lovely fresh carvery with a wide selection of meats and vegetables.. all cooked to perfection! I visit quite regularly for the carvery as I can’t get enough of it!! The staff are so lovely, friendly and very attentive and happy to help in any way they can… they always pop round to the table to check on you and check to see if everything is ok with your meals and they always ask if there is anything else they can get you such as sauces etc. The pub has a fantastic cosy atmosphere to it, great for family meals and meetings with friends. There is alway a large selection of desserts to choose from, from large signature cakes, to cheesecakes and also ice-cream sundaes! Perfect to finish off any delicious meal!

Lovely breakfast - even with Yorkshire Puddings. Best Yorkshire breakfast in town. Whole family enjoyed it - old and young.

Food is nice as well as helpful staff, been a few times now I'd recommend to try it out and enjoy, cake is awesome and tasty, so try it like I did, I guarantee you you won't be disappointed.

Incompetent staff packing home deliveries ! Ordered 3 carvery meals for birthday celebration and only 2 arrived ! Tried ringing them several times ,got put through to answerphone .Celebration spoilt as one person went hungry ! Will not be either ordering from or visiting again .

I go here often with family and the meals are always cooked well and as someone who has arfid, that is a HUGE deal, Never had a bad meal here, staff are lovely and will happily accomodate The cheesecake is divine xx

I had some good and bad experiences with food , staff is lovely. Outdoor play area is great . Indoor play area not so good. Kids machines takes money but don't do the job ( not every time) . Carvery is good - I wish they put back pees ,chips or them mini hashbrowns. Altogether good pub

Great food and atmosphere one of my favourite pubs. Tho bit loud and had to wait a while for someone to serve the carvery.

Absolutely fantastic once again. As a family we come here after every home football match. The carvery is outstanding and the pride Adam takes in his food is just lovely to see. The beef he serves is amazing can honestly say the best beef we have ever had at any carvery. He is also so friendly and comes across as proud to talk about the food he is serving. The glaze was just wow. It’s because of Adam we just keep coming back. He deserves recognition for the way he serves the food and how welcoming he is and how proud he seems. Massive asset to the team there. Thank you once again another 3 meals devoured and every mouthful was just beautiful

Service was absolutely arse honestly felt like something on someone's shoe rather than a paying customer, when coming into the pub half of it was reserved so we was forced to sit down in the kids area and this was at 6 in the afternoon and was still reserved at 8. Then ordered 3 of the exact same meal and then also a side to come out with the 3 meals. However only 2 of the 3 meals arrived with the side i was then sat for over 10 minutes waiting for the same meal . So I asked a passing member of staff so she took my side and left with it and told me it would be a few minutes again waiting another 10 minutes at this point everyone else had almost finished , and we had come out for a birthday so not very good I had to eat alone when it was the same meal. Nothing was wrong with the food , however we DID NOT get a check back to see how the food was and I didn't get a explanation to why it took so long and when I did ask , I just got told "I don't know I did go in and ask for it". Overall a explanation and a apology wouldn't have hurt.

Food was good always have the carvery Sunday lunch, service great and the staff are lovely and friendly especially Wil and Lorrisa and Joy.

Booked a table for the evening when we got there food was gone we wanted a carvery so no call from meadow farm saying they sold out not happy my granddaughter turned just 8 was so sad cuz she didn't have the carvery

The food was sadly underwhelming and quite disappointing. The flavors were bland, and the presentation lacked any creativity. The cauliflower wings were burnt and steak was overly chewy , while the kids’ meals didn’t fare much better. While the kids enjoyed their time at the restaurant, and the staff were friendly and attentive, I left feeling that the dining experience did not live up to my expectations, especially concerning the food.

After ordering our meals we found out that we needed to pick up my mum from her appointment locally over an hour early. At this point I hadn't even received my meal. The staff were very helpful especially Sharon who arranged for my meal to be held until I returned. This was exceptional service and I am truly grateful for how the situation was dealt with and no cold lunch. I would certainly come again, and highly recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap, it was delicious

Breakfast this morning is delicious as always. The choice and quality of food is great, staff are so friendly and it's always a pleasure to visit whether for breakfast or carvery.

The meat was tough , the mash tasted of nothing and the roast potatoes were rock hard

Me and hubby went to Meadow farm for breakfast yesterday Sat 21st September. Hubby had all you can eat breakfast and I had eggs benedict, both were amazing. The young lady that waited on us was super friendly and polite x

Came here for my boys birthday he really enjoyed it. The new yorkshire pudding wrap is amazing deffintly worth the visit

2 of us ordered turkey, cranberry and stuffing yorkshire wraps with roast potatoes and 1 ordered a double cheesburger... out came the wraps (not hot in the slightest) with no cranberry... so then had to wait just over 9 minutes for the burger to arrive... which also arrived with no coleslaw... service was great although a little disjointed with 3 different servers coming to the table... obviously had to have a pudding... 2 sticky toffee with custard (piping hot) and carrot cake with cream... no complaints as we cleared the plates... ive eaten in worse places... apart from the temprature of the wraps and the missing condiments... the rest of it was quite pleasant... i will definatley be back soon

Did a takeaway order on 15/09/24, unfortunately they didn’t have an item I ordered. However the staff on shift were very accommodating allowed me to order something else. Made sure the food was freshly cooked, the chef on the carvery was lovely and made sure my carvery was filled to the brim. Very lovely staff had a nice chat whilst the food was cooking. Food was delicious and fresh would definitely recommend!!!

Lovely carvery. Good choice of meat and vegetables. Could have been a bit hotter. We found the lighting a bit gloomy. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Came with my Nan and we both had the ultimate chicken combo and it was lovely! A decent size portion too, couldn’t fit it all in as it was that big. Would definitely come again and would recommend!

Another lovely, hot, fresh carvery lunch at this brilliant family friendly pub. We've had the carvery each time and cannot find fault with the quality. The food is always hot and the Yorkshire puddings are large and crispy. Highly recommended 5/5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

A pub I pop in to with my nieces when I have them, today we went, very busy but still got served quick, food was lovely & hot. Gabby was ace sorting out a hot chocolate for my niece & a payment issue. Fantastic service from her ☺️

Who doesn't love a carvery... Good price and nice pub. Only downside this time is that the veg was quite dry and roasties a little hard. Still 5 star though as this is the first time I've had an issue.

A popular eatery, conveniently just off the M1 with a good sized car park. The ‘large’ soft drinks are massive! The cakes are even bigger - That’s served on a dinner plate! Lovely grub!

I came to Meadow Farm this morning for breakfast, having never been before for breakfast I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was absolutely delicious. I had Eggs Benedict. It was all very tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The added bonus of a refillable tea for an extra £1.99. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!
