A great dining experience the food was amazing and the atmospheric was great, small but intimate. All round great experience highly recommend.

This is our second visit - originally found it when we were sent to the doctors practice next door and today had a Birthday breakfast. Great soft poached eggs on toast. Creamy coffee latte too. Friendly team. Will definitely call again. Appears to be a busy cafe.

Lovely tea rooms really clean helpful friendly staff. Food specially the hone made desserts really tasty. Everything pink in the room even noticed a pink kettle in the kitchen.

¡Fuimos a almorzar el domingo hace unas semanas y fue realmente delicioso! Fue especialmente sabroso debido a los pudines caseros de Yorkshire y verduras frescas (¡sin basura congelada!). Hemos reservado una gran comida familiar de Navidad aquí y estamos seguros de que será tan encantadora. Este es un pub local e independiente que realmente trabaja duro para servir a la comunidad, así que vamos, pruébalo y muestra tu apoyo.

This is a proper little local tea room. Great atmosphere, lots of friendly locals, super staff and service. We had a mug of tea and a toasted teacake and it was worth the trip from New Zealand for this place alone. Maltby might not be swarming with tourists, but if it was, this wouldn't disappoint.

Been several times and even with larger groups the service is very good. The food is always impeccable and the wine list is small but well curated. We’re going again tonight and I have every confidence it will be top notch. Well worth a visit if you know the difference.

Love people love chips, large sausage for the dogs, what's not to like.

We went Friday the 3rd January for the set menu. It was value for money and very nice, there was more than enough, my partner had garlic mushrooms then had to stop them putting all the chicken stroganoff on her plate, I had soup then steak, loads of chips and veg with potatoes, I believe you can order as much of this as you like, we finished off with chocolate fudge cake and creme brulee, the staff are very nice and polite, lots of young ones. They don't stick a 10% service charge on like some places,

Went in for drinks, really good atmosphere, clean and tidy. Reasonably priced to.

I live in Doncaster so don't know this area well, but my bestie does live local and recommended this restaurant. We first came in the midst of all the snow we had in January and on entering the restaurant saw only two people eating, but this was all forgotten when we were welcomed by a lovely friendly waitress with dark hair who showed us to our table and explained the menu. We only wanted something small on this occasion and chose jacket potato with tuna and salad. Honestly, I know you might think it's only a jacket potato, but it was the best I've ever had. We couldn't resist the desserts and had Bakewell tart with clotted cream. This was amazing. The waitress was really kind and explained about the new owners taking it over and what changes had been made. Obviously, it was not long after Christmas and with the weather not being great, I think that was the reason why not alot of people had ventured out. We enjoyed it so much that we said we would come again. This we did on 6th February. Greeted by the same smiling waitress as before, she did actually remember us when we got talking from our first visit. The restaurant was alot more busier On this occasion, the waitress told us that they had had quite a few special occasion bookings of late,which had gone done really well. We weren't disappointed with our second visit at all. We will certainly visit again and I am looking forward to visiting one evening with my husband who I have told all about how good this restaurant is. It will also be lovely in the warmer weather when you can sit outside and have a cream tea........looking forward to it already. Keep up the good work

This visit was for our Christmas meal, the fourth year running we have booked the Monk's Bridge. This year was no exception: the service was excellent, the food delightful and the overall ambiance congenial. Everyone agreed that the occasion was everything we had hoped for, good food at a most realistic price, good company and an agreement to rebook this same venue next year. I have never had a bad experience at the Monk's Bridge, and the staff need congratulating on their professional yet friendly service.
