Jay's Coffee Lounge in Rotherham

This is our second visit - originally found it when we were sent to the doctors practice next door and today had a Birthday breakfast. Great soft poached eggs on toast. Creamy coffee latte too. Friendly team. Will definitely call again. Appears to be a busy cafe.

This coffee house may be small but it has a huge choice of cakes, sandwiches and a fantastic breakfast menu.

Visit here regular with family and all the staff are lovely. Great variety of choice and everything is always really nice and fresh.

Recently moved into whiston and only just joined trip advisor but this Cafe is a hidden Gem in whiston the staff are amazingly friendly I called in to grab some lunch on my way to work and had time for a coffee the home made brownie is to die for and the salads are packed solid! I was speaking a a lovely lady who said she’s there every day I think I’ll be seeing her more often thanks for a great experience :)

An excellent menu with a variety of well priced food. We sat outside with our dogs and the owner came out with a snack for them. Will make a point of visiting more often.

We order as a group every weekend and are happy with the service. Jay's staff are always polite on the telephone and on delivery. We enjoy the food and I look forward to my weekend toastie 😊 Thankyou

Myself my sister and my mum dropped in for a light lunch after a busy days house moving. I had the club sandwich and they opted for the jacket potato and side salad (pictured). Great food and speedy and attentive service. They also have a wide array of home made cakes and confectionary. We shall be returning

Had a lot of food from here everything always fresh and lovely had large sandwhich orders for work. Right through to a fry up breaky cannot fault service price or quality highly recomend

Popped in with my Mum and had a lovely omelette. She had an apple crumble muffin, which she said was delicious. The staff were really friendly and didn't mind that we were in a rush.

Brilliant coffee shop with excellent home made cakes. Why bother with big chain coffee shops when you have this on your doorstep.

Went to the doctors surgery next door and spotted this coffee lounge. Thought we would have a mid morning coffee and tea cake. On entering it appeared clean and modern. 8 low tables and 2 high tables and chairs in the window. Papers to read. No wifi. Toilet facilities available. A customer was brought poached eggs on toast which looked stunning so ordered them with coffee (choice of white or wholesale bread) - we were not disappointed- cooked to perfection. Will definitely call in again. Staff friendly and polite. Downside? Cold. Needs a heater or keep your coat on.

My family and I come to jays cafe on average 3times a week, the friendliness of the staff is top notch. The food is totally amazing, healthy and made to order. Freshly made cakes, scones and cakes everyday are to die for. ❤️

We're down here more days than not and are never disappointed. Whether it's just a cup of coffee, breakfast, elevenses or a tasty lunch we are always sure of a warm welcome, good service and food of a high standard at very affordable prices. The number of regular customers is a testament to the hard work and friendly personal service put in by Joanne and all her staff. Wherever we go for coffee etc. elsewhere in Rotherham or the country as a whole, we measure how good it is by comparing it to Jay's. Other places rarely match it!

I go In this wonderful establishment every day. A very nice menu and atmosphere. , Also low fat options on the menu.

Squirelled away in Whiston village, away from the main street. A friendly atmosphere and the most exquisite breakfasts, cakes etc.It beats me how they can provide such appetising and plentiful food at such reasonable prices.

We have been coming to Jay's Coffee Lounge 2 or 3 times a week for the last 18 months. A warm, friendly environment catering for all folks. I love the fact that my 3 year old can come here and meet people of all ages and we don't feel on edge like you might in other eateries. The service is excellent as is the food. Joanne and Danielle with cater to all needs with a warm smile and lighthearted banter. They've even delivered sandwich orders for training I've had on for work. First choice every time. Short of opening 24-7 they couldn't do much more!!!

One of our work colleagues was going onto her maternity leave, so we organised an afternoon tea at jays coffee lounge. It was amazing Joanne put on an amazing selection of different sandwiches, scones and cupcakes and even catered for one colleague with gluten intolerance. It was an amazing afternoon !!!! All staff had a smile and was happy to help with any enquires. Would recommend this coffee shop to anyone ! :)

We were so impressed with Jay's coffee Lounge that the owner Joanne kindly catered for our 50th Birthday party and boy are we glad she did the food was absolutely fabulous not only in taste but in presentation. We can't tell you how many people commented on it, so thank you Joanne and Danielle you made a great night a fantastic night.

Due to a last minute cancellation we called on Jay's Coffee Lounge to provide 28 of us with a Sunday buffet lunch. They were keen to oblige and, at a very competitive price, laid out for us a bountiful tasty spread on the day. We would certainly use them again and strongly recommend others to do so.

Lovely chargrilled veg and jacket potato today. The staff are friendly. The cake , especially the Victoria sponge is fab !!

If you have never been we thoroughly recommend a visit the atmosphere is warm and friendly, breakfasts are delicious and the cakes are to die for, all freshly made by the owner Joanne and served with a smile by Danielle. Whenever we go we are always made welcome by the Team at Jays and customers are warm and friendly too.

Jays Coffee Lounge is a friendly family run coffee lounge with friendly and professional staff and fantastic quality coffee and choice of food. Cold and hot food is served to sit in or take away. Very nice food and good prices.The cakes are all home made by the owner and I have to recommend the coffee and walnut!!!!!I highly recommend and plan to visit again on a regular basis
