Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch and great hospitality at The Horseshoe. Choice of two roasts or both, lovely Yorkshire pudding, great selection of vegetables and gorgeous desserts. Amazing value for money. Such a lovely friendly welcome and comfortable table for the six of us plus our dog. Excellent beers too. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon. After a troubled start to my morning and having to drop my car at the garage. I called in for a quick drink whilst I was waiting for a taxi home. Served by Tom who was so welcoming when he saw me and even asked how I was. When I explained he said do t worry you’ll be fine I call that above and beyond plus a hi from Beth was also refreshing and also a quick hi from Jess

Popped in for a carvery after hearing great things about this place! Fully recommend 👌 the food was piping hot with a great service, the service was top draw and the guy in the carvery deck was full of banter. Great atmosphere throughout and high cleaning standards. Fully recommend and a will be visiting again 😀

Came here with my partner earlier in week, the prices are good and although not the highest quality (it isn’t trying to be) still very tasty and hot when served. The staff are also very friendly. Will deffo return if ever in area.

No wheelchair access we were looking at starting a business venture there but with no disabled access it's not something that we are interested in

Came for lunch with the family & grandchildren recently & we had a fab afternoon. The food was good, the play area kept the kids entertained and the staff were pleasant and friendly. We’ve definitely arranged to return in the school holidays & hopefully the sun will shine so we can enjoy the beer garden.

Whether you fancy a basic healthy breakfast or one of the specials, the team at Hot Gossip will certainly look after your needs. I've been on a strict diet for over a year and the team are happy to make variations that don't include butter in the food as well as other changes I request. Nothing is too much trouble but I'd recommend booking a table if you go at lunchtime mid week. The food is superb and always delicious. With an iodatira and downstairs seating area there is normally ample space to sit and eat, enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. If you are in Treorchy then a visit to Hit Gossip is a must. This is not the place to go if you just fancy chips. This is too sophisticated an establishment to serve chips. 🙄 The leek and potato soup made by Lesley is superb but there again so is all the food there. Never a bad meal yet.

Just a great carvery every time The only issue I have is that my elderly dad complains most weeks that they give him too much!!! Seriously it's excellent and great price too

He left my car at Stoneacre just up on Canklow Road and needed somewhere to go for some lunch whilst I waited. This was the perfect place! Just a five min walk away. I chose a chicken panini and a cuppa. Lovely friendly girls in there. (Think they may have been family?) Anyway it was the end of the day for them (closing at 2pm) and so were clearing up but I didn’t feel in the way or anything. Spot on little spot. Would recommend!

Just bought a steak pie today, absolutely delicious, it was a deep filled pie crammed full of tender steak, will definitely buy another definitely recommend Also bought their home made potted beef which I’ve bought lots of times and again would recommend this, you can certainly tell the difference from shop bought, Kate’s kitchen 10 out of 10 and includes a variety of sandwiches always tasty
