the staff are so trained and professional a great atmosphere the place is a good little pub with a lot of beer to chose from. The Beer great value and the food is amazing home cooked like it should be. The chef does a great job excellent experience

Visited for the first time for the Sunday carvery £8 or £10 large. Choice of beef, gammon, pork. A long wait to have our ticket called to which point we had nearly drunk our pints. No self serve but asked what you want and they dish the portion up. Yorks pud lovely, mash lovely, meat ok ( pork) cabbage average, peas poor ( hard) stuffing ok, roasties small (3) bur passable, carrots fine. Not much gravy. All in all just ok. Better carvery a short drive away. Good music playing and staff friendly.

Its a first time visit for my family today. It was simply the best Sunday Carvery we all have had. Ive never had a pub dinner that was ever as good as what you get at home but this was as good as it gets. Fantastic staff and service too. It was the first, but will not be the last. 10/10

This is one of the best places for food IV eaten the staff are great bend over backwards for u and they do good entertainment also. I highly recommend this pub 👍.

A tentative outing after lockdown led us to feed our OAPs. This carvery was the best I've had, and as someone who almost never er likes a carvery, I would go there every sunday. Good food, great value, and great service. Thank you.

Visited for an impromptu tea (that’s dinner for southerners) mixed grill for me steak pie for the wife. Huge portions , well cooked , great homemade chips , value for money , doesn’t look much from the outside but for home style traditional cooked food , not a chain pub , portion controlled cook chill meal give it a try.

We visited today and had the homemade steak pie , it was huge and absolutely beautiful, staff are friendly and the ambiance its cosy, a fab choice on the menu too, highly reccommend

A really lovely place to eat. Don't be put off by the exterior. Inside is very cosy and spotlessly clean. The food is very good priced. Portions are large and everything we've ordered has been freshly cooked and delicious. Had family Birthday meals here a few times and every time the servive has been faultless. Staff are really nice and helpful. If there is more than 3 people then you need to book and order in advance. Their menu is easily accessible on their website. They never allow more than 1 large booking at a time so you never have a long wait for food either. I really can't recommend them highly enough. We shall be going back again in October for my husbands Birthday get together.

Went here with my two little girls. I ordered 2 kids drinks, a pint of larger anf 2 kids sunday diners. When I got my bank card out to pay the you guy said I have to spend a minimum of £25 to use my bank card? ???? I was gobsmacked. J told him I only have my bank card and £10 cash on me. He went into the back to speak to some woman that came out and said "there's a sign there... can you read?" (pointing at a small sign at the other end of the bar behind the carvery counter). I replied no I didn't see it and wasn't told by the bar staff when ordering either. I asked why they had a £25 minimum spend rule and was told that's the rule I either spend £25 or leave. The person I assumed was the manager was VERY, VERY RUDE and couldn't care less. I took a big drink of the pint and walked out.

Very good menu choice. Delicious food. Very large portions. Exceptional value for money. Lovely inside. Costy and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. You need to book first and pre order from their menu a few days before. Great idea as we were all looking forward to our choices. 6 adults all had different meals and each one of us found it excellent. We will definitely be visiting again. 3 kids meals were free with the adult meals too. I can't praise them enough.

I thought the Christmas dinner was absolutely apoaling for £100 for me and my wife, the staff was very unexperienced and was very disrespectful!

We would never usually go out for carvery but today I just couldn’t be bothered. I’ve driven past The Station several times but never thought to go in. We drove past Toby Carvery but I couldn’t bring myself to go in as we don’t usually use chains. The food at The Station was actually good. All home made, fresh and tasty. The service was great and it wasn’t heaving. The portions are HUGE! Far too much really. We will definitely be back.
