Been coming here for regular business meetings. Always a smile at the door and a happy atmosphere. Taylor behind her bar always attentive and keeps our glasses full!

We came and the team leader was amazing with us, we had an issue with our bill and he sorted it straight away and made sure we was okay and asked if there was anything else he could do to help. Brilliant staff brilliant atmosphere

Been for food with family, 4 of us had carvery which the meat was inedible on all 4, just big pieces of fat and half cooked turkey with blood in it, the staff clearly took offence when we complained as this was clearly visible on her face for the rest of the time we was there. Offered free desserts which 2 of them we,r ice cream, very little ice cream in them compared to what you would normally get. A child was still waiting for his ice cream after we had finished our deserts which was ordered with his meal and asked for when we ordered our deserts. Then another customer had been given a refund for their meals as soon as they walked away 2 members of staff stood bitching about them which we could clearly hear from behind the bar while we were,r sat at table still. Been eating here for around 20 yrs and never received such disgusting service as we have received today.

Carvery was spot on , not 1 problem with it, family ordered from menu and they enjoyed ,relatively cheap, and them staff are excellent and Cole especially was on his game and every demand was made by him.

This was the first time I have been in Sir Jack's since Green King took over. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it, our meal lovely. The staff are a credit, the young gent Cole was very helpful and polite. Definitely we will be going back more often.

Absolutely appalling that my son, his partner and friends went to Sir Jacks for an afternoon out, for drinks, snacks and games (darts and pool) to then be fined £60 for exceeding 3 hours. Apparently, there is a sign to say you have 10 minutes grace to register your car for parking in the car park, but it is not obvious and looking for signs in a pub car park is something you dont expect to have to look out for. They have been three times recently and have not noticed any signs. Neither did any member of staff inform them on any of the visits that this is a thing and their car should be registered for parking. On your website, car park is under "Top Notch" amenities, again, nothing stating on there that cars need to be registered or only have a limited time (10 minute grace to register car). We phoned Sir Jacks, but the fine had already being paid as they didn't want the fine increasing as stated on the letter and they were not willing to do anything about it. We will not be returning and I will not recommend to friends and family. Parking pay and displays that are clearly marked should be installed. A good afternoon ruined. Not happy.

Brilliant service, staff cannot do enough for you. Very welcoming atmosphere, had the carvary and was delicious, carrot cake and hot chocolate to finish. Highly recommend it 5*

Been to here before but I’m this occasion, my mum won a competition in Facebook for a carvery, cake and tea. Wonderful birthday present, very polite staff who were happy to help. Would definitely recommend. Super service!!

Good spot of lunch here, I had the carvery which was fab, my partner opted for the steak fondue, the cheese sauce was to die for. All washed down with a few drinks. Great experience 👍

Great spot for a quick lunch, I opted for the carvery, which was hot and plentiful, the Yorkshire puddings were the biggest I’ve ever seen. They also offer an additional menu, if you don’t fancy the carvery. Good selection for ales also.

Lovely pub with a good selection of real ales. An extensive menu. Breakfast was available from 9am and was good value. However the toast was poor and an option of black pudding would be nice

£100 parking fine. My first visit for a drink was there a few hours. Didn’t see any notices and staff did not advise of any parking issues. Now received a £100 fine yet you say free parking. I am not paying the fine ! BEWARE DO NOT VISIT

Brought the grandson on a wet day. Carrie-Ann in the play area was amazing. Let us order some food "off menu" for our grandson and helped with our tables as we had a back to back booking. Give this lady a pay rise!

Breakfast here is fast and tasty.staff are always helpful, place is warm and welcoming. Football is always on and the sports app is handy for a bit of a discount

We visit Sir jacks often, mainly for the Wacky warehouse side for my son. It is always an enjoyable experience, the staff are beyond friendly and always happy to help with a smile. We were looked after by Mel today and she was lovely with us and the kids and couldn’t have done more for us. The kids were very happy to get a sticker at the end of our trip. When we first got here, it was 1 o’clock on a Sunday no tables available, apart from in the bar which was okay for us because our guests wasn’t turning up till half past one with the children, we was advised that we could have our Sunday dinner in the wacky warehouse And I am so pleased we did. We was greeted by two great girls called Mel and Carrie Ann. I explain to Mel that I had already got a tab going from the bar, so she was helpful enough to transfer it over to the wacky warehouse. This Great girl took my order for food and drinks, and even went and fetch my drink to us (save queueing). Mel and Carrie Ann did not stop, smiling all the way through our time and interaction with us and everybody else you could see them both enjoying their job and was perfect in every way and nothing was too much trouble. These two girls need a big pat on the back for being very professional, courteous, polite and most of all trustworthy even with my grandchildren, total brilliant job by both of them cannot recommend this place enough and to top it off on the way out my grandson granddaughter and myself got stickers. Who doesn’t love a good sticker. I’ve got a squid 🦑 Well done sir jack keep up the great work will definitely be back. Looking forward to our next visit. X

I used to live in the area and have been to Sir Jacks many times about 20 years ago. I came to visit my daughter and thought a meal out would make a nice change. My wife and I took my daughter and her partner to Sir Jacks to see if the food was as good as it used to be. The food was fantastic and so was the service. We were well looked after. Thank you, ladies. I will certainly be calling again when next in the area

Brought the kids to wacky warehouse to play and have some breakfast. Was greeted by Carrie-Ann who was working at the time. On arrival she was great interacting with the kids and was very accommodating and helpful. We were the only ones there to begin with, but even as it started to fill up she continued to be very helpful and even go the extra mile for the customers, which I noticed. The kids loved the play area, especially the ball pit, which is what they specifically wanted which is why we chose to visit here. The breakfast was good and was served quickly. Coffee was nice. Prices are fair. Cheaper than most play areas. Pleasant experience overall.

We went for a meal for our 43rd wedding anniversary the meal was excellently cooked how the chef managed to cook our steak well done and remained so tender we will never know but it was beautiful the staff there were so friendly and loved a bit of banter with us they honestly couldn’t do enough for us they are a credit to this pub definetly going back
