Nice coffees. I had a piccolo and my dad had a cappuccino and they were both presented well and tasted lovely. Small and friendly cafe with excellent service.

This shop is so unassuming from the outside, however step inside and they'll make you the sandwich of your dreams! This is the second time I've visited and both times the sandwich they made me was fantastic. There is no scrimping, the sandwiches are full and weighty and the carefully selected ingredients all compliment each other perfectly. Both times I had the Tandoori Chicken Special. I urge you to try this sandwich.

We had our group Christmas meal on December 9th. The food was excellent, the food served with a smile An unexpected delight. There was a slight mix up over billing, but overall this is a pub restaurant we will visit in the future. Well done.

Wow, another absolutely stunning meal at the QH. I was initially disappointed the salmon had sold out but my second choice, lamb rump with a moussaka side was incredible. Absolutely scrumptious, a very generous portion and beautifully presented. I couldn’t fault it. Similarly, the scallop and black pudding was also perfection. The QH sticky toffee pud rounded everything off very nicely indeed. Excellent all round, thanks to the chef and all the staff for a superb evening.

Used the restaurant both nights on our stay at the hotel. Good selection of dishes and the food was delicious. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Husband rated the steak pie as one of the best he had ever had.
