The best restaurants in Wharfedale Bradford Yorkshire and The Humber

Bought the bacon and Greek sausage at Otley market after sampling on the stall. These are amazing products. I have been trying to find nitrate free sausages for some time. All the research tells us that nitrates are harmful and I keep expecting them to be banned. Until this happens the onus is on the consumer to search them out!

Called on a spur of the moment but had read reviews previousley, I ordered a meat spinich which had tender meat and of a nice taste, I would say it was a bit on the salty taste. The other dish was a chicken Jalfrezi , at first glance it was colourfull but the sauce was on the watery side, there was a good amount of chicken and I would definatley be calling again. The person behind the counter seemed to be the owner and was cherfull.

Excellent naan and the Shalli curry was very nice

Top drawer curry house. Lovely samosas, tasty biryanis (which are cheaper than most places), and every curry I’ve had has been on the money. Can’t recommend them enough.

Amazing quality food. I had the Philly steak sandwich £19. I've had this dish before at other places and been very disappointed but this time the steak and the cheese sauce were amazing with crisp tasty fries the best coleslaw and lots of shredded salad. It was very unusual for me to leave food, but the portions are fantastic and this one beat me! We went at lunchtime and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. It was the first time visiting The Hermit, although I had heard many good things about it. Is on my "Definitely got to visit again" list. Definitely worth 5 stars!!!

Excellent quality fish and chips

The coffeestation closed and has now reopened as Arlo. Run by a local family this is an excellent place for a litebite and coffee. Closed Monday Tuesday is coffee and cakes Wednesday to Sunday hot dishes are available. We had a Sunday brunch with coffee it was excellent and could become a staple place for Sunday brunch.

Nice coffees. I had a piccolo and my dad had a cappuccino and they were both presented well and tasted lovely. Small and friendly cafe with excellent service.

This shop is so unassuming from the outside, however step inside and they'll make you the sandwich of your dreams! This is the second time I've visited and both times the sandwich they made me was fantastic. There is no scrimping, the sandwiches are full and weighty and the carefully selected ingredients all compliment each other perfectly. Both times I had the Tandoori Chicken Special. I urge you to try this sandwich.

Delicious food and lovely friendly staff. We had a mix of starters and I had chicken balti which was gorgeous. My friend said her fish curry was the nicest she’d ever tasted. The staff were very helpful with recommendations and excellent friendly service.

Visiting friends and came across a lovely little cafe, great coffee and selection of cakes, couldn’t resist the old school sprinkle sponge cake

If you turn up, you'll find the premises are now up for sale. When it was trading, the opening hours were limited, though the service was friendly and the quality was good.

The food was excellent and the best chicken tika bhuna I've had in ages. Service was good but no surprise as the restaurant wasn't busy which is a shame because it deserves to be.

Warm friendly staff very helpful with helping get Wfi and making a special coffee as I like

Been i twice the past two weeks on Saturday and the girls behind the bar have said its closed at 22:30. First time "closing because the guys at the bar are a handful", second time "because we've been really busy because of the Xmas lights". If you close when you're busy you probably won't do so well!
