Beautiful cafe with delicious sandwiches and friendly staff! always leave wanting to come back and I think thats why this cafe does so well… lovely atmosphere

We regularly think of Arlo when we want a great coffee, a bite to eat or just a nice takeaway treat. Despite the shop being on the smaller side, it has never caused an issue despite us always visiting with a toddler and a baby and having our hands full! It’s always child friendly, which is great and one less thing for parents to worry about, so thank you! We also love to sit outside on the small tables and chairs with our pram in tow (when the weather allows) after a trip to the nearby park. We live locally and we really value and enjoy coming to Arlo.

I've been to Arlo a few times now and every time it does not disappoint! Great coffee, really tasty food (particularly the breakfast stack) and the staff are so friendly. We travel from south Leeds to get there and it is well worth the trip. would happily recommend to anyone.

I’ve visited Arlo a number of times since they opened, both by myself and with family, and everytime it’s been nothing less than amazing. Staff are always incredibly friendly and the food is incredible, brunch and the lunch offerings along with the cakes and pastries (that I’ve managed to try so far!!), never been able to fault it. I always recommend Arlo to anyone who is travelling to or visiting the area and I will definitely be returning

Arlo is super cute and my go to place in the village. Spot on coffee, cakes and friendly staff. Always make myself and my toddler feel welcome.

I've been to this cafe 3 times now and while there is no argument that the quality of the food is brilliant I'm always left a bit disappointed. Each time I've come there has always been some kind of issue. I've visited today, really looking forward to the pancakes that they always post on their instragram page, no pancakes available. Last time I came was Mothers Day, they randomly decided they were going to open late so we had to stand outside and wait. My previous visit (on a monday) they just weren't open. Like I've said the food is great, the cakes are probably some of the best ive ever had but it seems very disorganised.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat after a long walk with friends. Friendly welcome but we changed our minds and settled for a drink after seeing the prices. Didn't fancy forking out £60 for four sandwiches and drinks.

We popped in at lunch time and managed to get the last table. Despite it being busy we were served quickly and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent!

Love indie coffee shops and Arlo is by far our favourite. Superb coffee, breakfast/brunch options and cakes all from high quality ingredients and a treat for the eyes as much as for the taste buds. The staff is absolutely superb, attentive and welcoming, always beautiful chemistry between them - thank you all 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Recommend 100%.

Fantastic locally roasted coffee (North Star) with staff skilled in making very tasty drinks. Food is consistently excellent. I’ve sampled the majority of the menu and everything is delicious. All staff are very friendly and attentive. Could not recommend more highly.

I'm already a huge Arlo fan & visit regularly as I live nearby. I chose Arlo to supply an afternoon tea style buffet lunch for friends who came to my house to celebrate my birthday. Everything was absolutely delicious and it was beautifully presented. The ordering process was easy too, I was supplied with a choice of sandwiches of which I chose 3 varieties and 2 types of yummy cakes and also home made incredible sausage rolls. Everyone was wowed and I could enjoy the experience as I didn't need to worry about the food. The selection was generous and top notch. Highly recomended.

Visited here twice on Sunday. Stopped in for an iced latte after a walk to the weir. Very nice coffee and exactly what I needed after a walk in the sun. After another long walk we decided to get some food here. We both had the hot ciabatta. I had the 'hot honey salami' which had salami, sun dried tomato, melted cheese and honey drizzle. My wife had the 'Arlo club' which had chicken, bacon, gruyère cheese, tomato, lettuce, garlic and mayo. Both ciabattas were really good. Nice quality bread, plenty of fillings and lovely taste. They both came with salad which was really just some leaves with dressing on. Although the food was really really nice, at that price it would have been good if they came with some chips. Afterwards we got a piece of Bakewell cake, and a salted caramel brownie sandwich to take away. Both of these were also very nice. Service was very nice and friendly. Would definitely visit again if we're in the area.

Best coffee in the area, freshly ground and well-presented by friendly young barista team. Hot food good though sometimes chef may not be present so potential disappointment….phone ahead if that’s what you really want, though cold sandwiches, occasional sausage rolls and great range of bakes and cakes. Chilled and friendly atmosphere inside, and if sunny the outside south-facing tables are pleasant.

Coffee is horrible,tastes like citrus !!!, no other brand to try . Food is too fancy ,nothing that is just simple ,some people may like that but not everyone . Actual cafe itself inside is nice though .

We arrived on a very wet Sunday morning after scouring the area for somewhere with good coffee and a brunch type menu. So glad we found Arlo! From a friendly greeting on arrival to leaving we could not have been happier with our experience. The coffee was delicious and piping hot. It was promptly served by a very pleasant and efficient young man while we took a little time to peruse the menu. We both opted for Avocado Toast which was served on sourdough with a very tasty chilli jam, feta and two poached eggs. Very tasty indeed! We liked the look of the Turkish Eggs so may well return to try them too! Lovely chilled atmosphere with nice decor and relaxing background music. Arlo is clearly popular as it was busy with both walk-ins and takeaways, but the owner was happy to chat with us at the table and she was keen to hear our feedback. After a second round of drinks we departed but will return!

We came for a Sunday brunch and it was fantastic! Staff were really friendly and helpful and didn’t mind that we chopped and changed from sitting inside to outside. The portions for brunch were really generous and everything was well presented and cooked to perfection....
