Not The Same Anymore Now Taken Over Why Pay 10 Pound For Fish And Chips When You Can Get For Less Then 6 Pound Other Places Takeing Advantage Of People And The Area Just Go To Otley Its Cheaper And Much Nicer

I can only give this one star because I've never eaten their fish and chips...they close too flipping early! UPDATE. finally caught them open. They are very nice people and obviously family run. Unfortunately although the chips were ok the fish was awful. The batter was just plain sludge with no crispness at all. I think the owner comes from darn sarth from his accent and having lived there for too many years I can see why the batter stinks. Please take some frying lessons from Murgatroyds then I may return

Cracking fish and chips. Fast service and fish and curry sauce were banging. Just the right amount of butter on the bread bun.

Fairly average quality fish and chips, especially considering nearby maypole and fish and chips in Ilkley.. however they're not terrible and they are local. If you're looking for something really tasty try otley or Ilkley but if you're local and don't want to jump in the car then stick with these guys I reckon. Hopefully they'll read this and try and up their game a bit on food quality.

The fish and chips from Burley Fisheries are some of the best I have ever had. Even better than most of the fish and chips I’ve had at the coast. The staff are friendly and polite. They accept card payments, and they have different size portions of meals so you can order or just what you want. Pros: - Card payments taken (AMEX is not accepted!) - Polite staff - Good selection on the menu with various portion sizes Cons: - Parking

Tasty chips and nice fish , not as greasy as my last visit but a nice taste nonetheless, most of chips of even shape . Pleasant service and fair price.

Ok, not the most consistent quality as sometimes they’re kinda greasy but sometimes they’re not. Really quite expensive for what they are, especially as there are better fish and chip shops that are less than 3 miles away that have similar prices but better food.

This is a really busy chip shop and I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and it was also popping hot. Great chippy

GLUTEN FREE NIGHT, whoop whoop! Fantastic too. Good enough to write a review while I’m eating them! I’m not coeliac but I know they are cooking in separate fryers to accommodate true coeliacs. Tuesday and Wednesday nights will be marked on the calendar as potential treat nights. Thanks very much!

We came in last minute, bit of a rush but the staff were so lovely and despite being close to closing time they were patient and the food itself was lovely. Great service from one of the best local fisheries.

Spent £30 on card, forgot to buy source, wouldn't let me buy source on card because of minimum spend. Not very accommodating. I remember why I got to the Maypole in Otley now.
