Wharfedale Deli in Bradford

This shop is so unassuming from the outside, however step inside and they'll make you the sandwich of your dreams! This is the second time I've visited and both times the sandwich they made me was fantastic. There is no scrimping, the sandwiches are full and weighty and the carefully selected ingredients all compliment each other perfectly. Both times I had the Tandoori Chicken Special. I urge you to try this sandwich.

Reliably good sandwiches at a very reasonable price. The filling options are really varied and they cater well for vegetarians and vegans.

This lovely little gem of a place was recommended to me and I can say it certainly didn’t disappoint! Had a bacon and cheese savoury on granary sandwich and it was delicious…….plus the yummy caramel slice to top it off!!! I will definitely be back for more!

The vanilla slices are to die for. The coffee is good. The service is efficient and friendly. What more could you ask for? There is very little seating but a park and public seating very close.

My go to for breakfast sandwiches, lunch & picnic supplies and they've catered our last couple of family birthday parties. Fresh food, great service and good value, highly recommended!

I rang to order to pick up a couple of sandwiches for the following day as we had visitors. I changed the order twice and each time I received cheerful, helpful service. The sandwiches were ready to pick up and were delicious - fresh, tasty and plentiful! Thank you, I am disabled and it made things much easier for me. Definitely recommend!

This popular corner shop has a couple of tables inside where you can sit in and eat.In the summertime they a few tables outside.Have lots of choices of hot cold sandwiches,jacket potatoes,cakes and choices of drinks.They sell good free range eggs.

We have been here several times when visiting daughter in Burley & have sampled coffee, cake, sandwiches etc & everything has been good. On a nice day we sit outside & watch the world go by.

Great little sandwiches sold here and fresh bread on a lunch time, would also really recommend the weekly cakes!

We stumbled across this place by accident but it's the most adorable, friendly and tasty place in Burley. The staff are lovely, I mean it's TINY but everything is so well priced and I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered here. Pop in for a quick lunch of spend all afternoon reading a book - it's the perfect hide away!

A great local shop with a big selection of sandwiches, salads and jackets. Different selection of cakes everyday which are always generous portions. Staff are friendly and service is quick despite it being a popular spot. Nice to sit in and watch the world go by. Good selection of deli products available as a bonus.

I always feel this is a great place waiting to happen. Needs a refurb and proper coffee machine. It has some good deli food and produces but it is not presented in a modern and appealing way.

Amazing food at very cheap prices, friendly staff, something for everyone. Would recommend the goats cheese ciabatta melt... it's gorgeous.

Having visited quite a few times now I've concluded there are better places to get a sandwich. For the breakfast sandwiches I've had the bread has often been quite dry and the bacon or sausage not a great quality or overcooked. Other sandwiches have been okay but for the money I'd expect the fillings to be a bit more generous. A bit disappointed as was hoping for better.

Charcutería familiar. Servir una increíble bebida chocolate caliente. Buena selección de comida caliente y fría. Definitivamente volveré de nuevo cuando esté en la zona. La primera vez que fui con mi esposa para el brunch, pero las dos mesas estaban ocupadas pero principal amablemente nos proporcionó una pequeña mesa y dos sillas. Esta visita me fue por mí y me acordé de mi primera visita y me hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Ahora tienen una nueva zona de estar exterior.

I went in and there was no toilets There was only 2 tables and they were both taken so I couldn't sit down either

They allways make a tasty sandwich, good quality , not the cheapest but allways good they also sell sweets for the kids

The food is excellent very good quality. We've visited many times for takeaway sandwiches and also purchase bread cakes. We have friends that visit and always ask for lunch from the deli. However the staff never seem to get the service quiet right. Sometimes they ask if you want butter. Sometimes they ask if you want your sandwich cutting. Sometimes they ask you these things and get it wrong and often they ask you what you would like then start making it and have to ask you again as they've forgotten what you've asked for. I always think this could be easily rectified if they write the order down which they never do. We keep returning as the food is so good.

This is a fantastic deli to visit for lunch/coffee/snacks and even breakfast for locals and passersby alike.The food is really good and prepared freshly each day, I recommend the goats cheese and red onion marmalade sandwich which is delicious.The cakes and sweet treats they offer are freshly made and taste delicious, and reasonably priced too.They also sell various meat products like pork pies and sausage rolls which are sourced from the butcher a few doors down.Overall a great deli with nice staff and good food.

Delicious sandwiches every time! Huge range of fillings to choose from, as well as a variety of bread. Hot sandwiches/jacket potatoes as well.A group of us eat in every Wednesday lunchtime...the highlight of our week. Lovely staff. Can ring up and pre order too!
