Stopped for a meal in the pub with our dog. Very accommodating, local beer was great, food delicious, partner had roast partridge. Decor was warm and cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the hospitality of the locals and staff

Located at the top of the cobbled street so when you get there you've earned it! Cozy pubs with little corners and a nice room to the rear with an old map of the area on the wall. Lady behind the bar was chatty. The beer wasn't great but not worthy of complaint. Hopefully a one off; otherwise go and enjoy.

Very disappointed. Walked all the way up the hill from the wonderful Fleece pub this evening Sat. 4th Jamuary 2025 at 7:30pm looking forward to a meal. The bar staff told us there was no food available as the Chefs had been sent home as it was too quiet. What a way to run a business. We went straight back down to The Fleece where we had a wonderful meal, with great staff, excellent Timothy Taylor Beers in a wonderful atmosphere. Forget the White Lion, they don't deserve the business👎

This is a lovely traditional pub. Gives a real feeling of stepping back in time to a traditional friendly pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation is lovely with everything you need, tea, coffee, biscuits, hairdryer, fresh towels , bath products etc. very clean. Breakfast was gorgeous and evening meals are top notch. Eaten here and stayed here a few times and would definitely recommend

Popped in for a late afternoon drink on a busy Saturday in early December. Nice to find good mulled wine and a local ale in great condition. Good staff and felt very comfortable. Dog friendly and the dogs in the room were all comfortable in their surroundings and therefore well behaved.

We had dinner at the Old White Lion twice during our stay, I had the vegetarian curry which was a treat and the Mushroom Stroganoff which was simply wonderful. A culinary experience that I will remember for a long time!

Called in for a drink and a meal. Good food, good service and a brilliant sense of history. A lot of pubs today could be transplanted to anytown anywhere but the Old White Lion could only be in Haworth and that's what makes it so brilliant.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Haworth. Room was very nice, staff very friendly and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. There is a car park at the back with about 9 spaces. There is a public car park at the bottom of the road too. 3 minute walk to the Bronte museum. 10 minute walk to the train station for a steam train ride to Keighley. Lots of pubs and cafés in Haworth. Hebdon Bridge 20 minutes away by car.

Very clean and welcoming old pub, staff lovely and efficient….however the star of the show was the homemade steak pie ! I’m thinking of moving here and asking for a job at The Old White Lion on the proviso the steak pie is part of my wages!!!!!

Me and my partner have nothing but positive comments for this place. From the moment we arrived we we’re treated by the staff perfectly! They were so warm and welcoming and really took time to get to know us. The room was spotless and cosy, the view and huge bath were an added bonus! Both our evening meal and breakfast was so tasty and you can tell that they use the best of the local produce! We weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived but it was an absolutely perfect place to stay! The best place to stay in Haworth by far! We are already looking too book again for next year :)

This was a much anticipated return visit. Everything on the menu is excellent . Fresh, well prepared, lots of variety. Recommend the ploughman's : D-licious and feeds at least two. Also wonderful is the steak pie. Sticky toffee pudding and make sure to have the vanilla ice cream with it.

We loved the charming Inn and the breathtaking views from our windows. The cuisine in the inn restaurant was spectacular and the service cheerful and accommodating (thanks Carol!) The location was perfect - hilltop and easy walk to everything. A gorgeous, lively village. A Bronte lover's dream come true!

We had 2 marvellous meals during our week stay in delightful Haworth. On both occasions, the food was exemplary - cooked to a masterful standard. Pleasingly, it was very fairly priced. Friendly, excellent service accompanied our meals. The Old White Lion roared!

I was invited to a poker tournament there, Fruday evening. 19 runners three tables. It was a well run tournament, with a good group of lads with varying experience. Shout out to Scarlet (I Think) who was ferrying drinks up stairs all night....I'll Be Back.
