Always great, food is wonderful, staff are lovely. Very good atmosphere. Nice place to go for a meal or coffee and cake. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine as well.

We found this place by chance for lunch after visiting the nearby Damart factory shop. It is hidden away off the main road. We sat in the quiet sunny courtyard. My wife and I shared some homemade tuna pate and a poached salmon sandwich. Our friends had other sandwiches. The quality was super and the prices were fair.

Good food but service very slow we waited 30 mins to get our food and then had to pay at the till not the table - No really an atmosphere

The place to visit for breakfast for locals. Lovely place for breakfast and lunch. Full of regulars and conversations always funny. Food is very good and customer service excellent. Omelette is Soooooo good. The prices are excellent value for money. Highly RECOMMENDED

I went for a hearty, wholesome full English (vegetarian) breakfast. My Uncle had the non-vegetarian, and my cousin had the Eggs Royale. For me, everything tasted precisely as expected (and hoped for) - particularly the poached eggs, which were made perfectly (runny golden yoke in the middle when cut into). Overall, the atmosphere was busy, but cosy- an ideal place to enjoy breakfast on a Saturday morning. Plus, I appreciated the open kitchen plan - you could see how everything was being cooked. Would definitely come back here again - and I recommend it for those looking for a cooked breakfast that doesn’t disappoint.

Lovely sandwiches and meals in a family atmosphere.

We often go to Lavinas for our lunch and we did today. I would say DONT BOTHER. the service was none existent and the tall dark haired girl was very obnoxious. We only asked for salad cream and you would have thought we had asked for the earth. She replied in a very short burst we don't have salad cream. not even an option for mayonnaise which we had to ask her for. She then took away our plates so quickly we didn't have time to ask her for a desert and none was offered. We will not be eating here again and neither will a few of our friends.

Did one of the spectacular walks around Bingley, I would thoroughly recommend a visit I've done a few walks around here and they don't disappoint, we enjoy trying the local coffee shops wherever we are and we were pleasantly surprised with Lavinia's, the quality of the homemade cakes and the coffee was excellent.

An hidden gem. My Wife and I just ate Breakfast here. A pleasurable experience in all departments. Food was of the highest order, as was the service. Clean, warm and welcoming. Most amazing little cafe ever. Can sometimes be busy due to being so amazing! They cope with the volume incredibly well though, and the food NEVER suffers. Everything on the menu is fab, but my personal fave would be the Seafood Medley! Highly Recommended! 2nd review : Many years later I am still a returning customer to this fantastic cafe. I live 100 miles away but I know when ever I visit Lavinias will not let me down.

This cafe was such a great find hidden in a courtyard off Bingley high street. A very extensive menu with just as many specials. Excellent service from friendly staff who should all be proud of this hidden gem. Homemade chilli with jacket potato was “it’ll do” from my thoroughly Yorkshire partner means excellent. My goats cheese with caramelised onion panini with salad and coleslaw was equally impressive. We were both full but bought takeaway homemade scones, Bakewell tart and caramel shortbread. None of these failed to disappoint. Thank you and well done to everyone at Lavinia’s. Can not recommend highly enough and we’ll be back soon.

Went with friends and we all had Christmas Dinner which was absolutely delicious. All the staff are just great too. What a great little place.

I've been in this cafe a few times before but was surprised and disappointed by the poor service on this occasion. After a pleasant afternoon at Bingley Christmas Market we were met with disrespect and hostility by the waitress in this establishment. This was reinforced by her blatant face pulling and eye rolling at what was an innocent question from us about an item on the menu. We didn't wait around for more abuse and we won't be coming back. Get some service training or get a better attitude. And make more effort to be nice to your customers particularly at Christmas.

Had a very nice Ice cream Milkshake. Friendly staff, we just missed the food menu as we came late but we wanted drinks anyway so that was ok. Excellent!

Lovely place and staff, they accommodated my family of 12 for last minute breakfast celebrations for my wife on a saturday morning, everything was excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, service was great and food was fresh and hot. Would definately recommend.

Waited 15mins to be served. Asked for a well done bacon sandwich which was not well done and was very fatty. Eggs benedict, eggs were perfect but the hollandaise looked and tasted just like salad cream. Had to ask for sugar, salt and pepper, knife and fork. Did not feel the staff were attentive at all

Always a lovely meal, the food is lovely, the menu is varied and the staff are so friendly. Today when we got there a lady had fallen and the staff looked after her so well and carried on looking after the rest of the customers. They were wonderful, I hope the lady is ok. We always go here when visiting Mum, it was worth the 2.5 hour drive today. First meal out since February last year and it was lovely.

Sat outside on a cold morning for a marvellous tasty breakfast served by a delightful friendly man who also supplied a cozy heater to help keep us warm. We kept our distances among smiling regulars....what an absolute pleasure.

Love Lavinias inside and out, lovely spot in the sun and great food. Can't wait until we can sit inside again.

Afternoon tea delivered for my dads birthday. Beautifully presented and my parents said it was the best they have had. Sandwiches were full to bursting with filling, the homemade cakes and scones were fresh and delicious, so much to chose from, there were left overs for lunch today! thank you lavinias

Ordered afternoon tea for four people. From start to finish it was excellent. The service was second to none, ordered, they delivered on time and the guy that delivered (Adam I think!) was very friendly, on time and professional. The food well what can I say!, fresh and delicious!. I would like to say a big thankyou to everyone at Lavinia's for your excellent service and delicious food. We went for my father's 96th birthday meal he had meat and potatoe pie and we had the salmon fish cakes which where all very tasty. What a surprise when my dad was presented with a birthday cake plus candle what a lovely gesture it certainly made his day. Thankyou.I would highly recommend.

Superb quality and service great food

Visited here for the first time even though I live in the Bingley area. Have to say I was very plesantly suprised. It one of those quaint little country style hide away cafes you come across in the Lake District. I only had coffee and cake which was great tasting, the cake was homemade and the portion was more than enough. The staff were mainly young students or family I guess. All were polite, well dressed, tentative and friendly to all customers that were visiting. The chef was busy behind the scenes making traditional late breakfasts and early lunches. The food was all fresh and every thing was cooked to order. I asked about an advertisement in the menu which indicated Lavivia's caters for private parties, buffetts and dinners. There's an upstairs room that can cater for over 40 people. They do parties, weddings, work do'christenings and more. So over all for a tucked away little country style cafe its actually a very productive friendly place. I recommend a visit for a taste of the Lake's cafe's here in Bingley.

We have been visiting here for years, could not criticise anything, ever. We are delighted they are now open Sundays. Our family of 4 visited today on a lovely sunny day in Bingley. Service as friendly and excellent as ever, and all breakfasts cooked perfectly. Well done and keep up the good work, as you already know, we will be back!

We called in here one morning for a bacon butty. It's a nice friendly little cafe. The cakes looked delicious. We had one bacon and one sausage with teas. Very tasty. Lovely outside seating area in the courtyard too. Spotlessly clean. This is going to be one of my regular spots from now on.

A lovely little find in Queen's Court, plenty of variety in the menu and specials board, one if the nicest coffees I've ever had in a cafe/restaurant, service was spotless and friendly, food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot, clean cutlery, helpful staff, delicious home made cakes, lovely view of the woods, very very commendable. Lavinia's Cafe, although initially a little hard to find, is my families 'go-to' choice for a delicious bite to eat. The staff are always polite and attentive and the food superb. Everything is made fresh to order to a very high standard. They offer a good selection of meals and there is always a specials board. If you do visit Lavinia's you must try the homemade cakes! They are outstanding. If I go with my daughters I always get an extra slice of Bakewell Tart to take out for my wife (she says it's the best!). If you arrive and the place looks full there is also a seating area upstairs. Oh....and the coffee is also very, very good. I regularly end up having an extra cup.
