I had lunch with my family in The Lounge, and I was really pleased with the food. Service was quick because we didn't have to wait for too long for our food and drinks. I will definitely repeat this experience because I want to try their cakes as well. 😊

Excellent food and friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. It can get quite busy so it may be an idea to ring ahead and book.

Amazing full English and Advacado on toast, slightly expensive but you get what you pay for and this food will not disappoint. We sat outside and were lucky enough to get a table.

Very snobbie staff waited over 20 mins for coffee , 3 staff stood around doing nothing and kept looking at us , we saw coffees being made for other people who had bought food , felt like if you do not buy food you don’t matter , after a further 10 mins we walked off telling them not to bother , food very overpriced £14 for veggie breakfast never ever recommended this place to anyone

Not very good place 15 min to get a coffee ended up walking out staff just stood around not even making coffee. For the price they charge here you expected better service.

We have always enjoyed coming here for a coffee during the summer months , but unfortunately today we had really poor service. We came in just for morning coffee. The place was around 60-65% full. It took 10/ 15 minutes for our order to be taken then a further 20/25 minutes to receive a coffee each. When checking how long it would be the server apologised and said she would check - this then took a further 6 minutes to get the coffee. At this point she told us apparently the order had only been put through 11 minutes ago. Which means whoever took our order didn’t bother putting it through for quite some time. The only positive to the visit was the till assistant at the end who was really polite and friendly. - just to add that in this time other people had been/eaten and left.

Called in this lunchtime as couldn't find anywhere my and my friend fancied to have a cuppa and a butty. Ended up stopping here had a burger and rosemary salted fries with two giant onion rings (unexpected surprise) my mate had a jacket spud with beans salad etc. Fabulous food and great service. Spotlessly clean, quick efficient service. A nice little find on a Sunday mystery tour out.

My wife & I went on Saturday 22/6/24 aprox 1 pm. We both fancied the special pasta dish. The meal came in a large bowl accompanied by wholesome rustic bread. The pasta had olives, chorizo & a host of other ingredients topped with ground parmigiana cheese. It is one of the best pasta dishes we have tasted. Exceptionally filling & DELICIOUS. We also had 2 lattes.

Fantastic service. I was 40 miles into a 60 mile bike ride. Everyone was so friendly. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you

Brilliant service as usual. Great food. It was fathers day and my husband had the Big Daddy Mixed Grill and to our surprise eat every bit. Our favourite place for family celebrations.

Friend took us here for lunch and it was great. The wild mushroom soup was outstanding and and toastie was delicious. Great coffee and staff were very helpful with recommendations.

The place has nice decor etc. you wait to be seated then get told to sit anywhere, takes ages for someone to take the order because it takes that long you start to think so you have to go to the counter and order. The food and drinks were good. The one thing I didn't like was there was one blonde girl working here going around asking people if everything was ok but just completely ignored our table. I didn't like her vibe anyway and her purple Crocs.

Nice site. Cappuccino just warm. Expresso not bad . service 50/50. 10/5/2024. Espresso the best in Yorkshire now the service 10/10. A lot of improvement. All the best...

Delicious fresh food, huge portions, friendly staff, could not fault.

We visited here for the first time today. The staff are all super friendly and attentive, we had toasted current teacakes with a mocha, and a glass of iced water. Everything was very tasty and well presented. It has a really nice atmosphere inside, busy but not overwhelming. We'd definitely recommend coming here and we will be coming back!

Nice coffee. Food ok but chips and onion rings were cooked in old oil, onion rings saturated in greese. Had a 45 min wait for food. Waitress brought food over to a large group. Didn't think to remove several cups, saucers and teapot on way back to bring the rest of our order. Brought rest of order over then walked off again leaving all the empty crockery and no space on the table to enjoy the meal.

Never fails to impress, food is so good. Great quality and choice. Staff attentive and friendly. I recommend to all my friends.

Pricey for a full meal. I saw plenty of other people opting for cheaper snacks like teacakes. But the rosemary fries and minted mushy peas that I had were really lovely 🤩 So was the decaf coffee. I'd defo go again, but maybe opt for coffee and a snack next time!

Sat outside ordered 2 flat white coffees. Some concern when table of 5 next to us after some 15 minutes were served 2 of 5 coffees ordered, 2 arrived some minutes later. couple of minutes later one of them then went in to inquire about the cakes they had ordered to go with the coffee! At this point I went to inquire about our coffees to be told they were next to be done. As this was 25 minutes after placing the order my husband and I decided to leave. Apparently food and drink are excellent but I suggest you need a couple of hours to find out. The least they could have done was advise us on ordering of the wait when we could have then chosen not to do so.

Lovely tasty freshly made food and lovely atmosphere and staff were very kind and attentive.We are very fussy when it comes to eating out and very really come away from somewhere that we was impressed with but I can definitely recommend here

Love this place. Cracking food, friendly, funny, talkative staff. Update 20th May 2023 Called in for coffee and cake. very good selection. Coffee and peppermint tea was presented very well along with the cake. Options to sit out in the glorious sun adds value to your visit. 5* RECOMMEND

A lovely atmosphere and the food is amazing. The breakfasts here are fantastic!! Ever meal that came out looked delicious. The service could have been a little quicker, but they were busy to be fair. Definitely book a table to avoid disappointment, as this is a very popular place, highly recommended and I've been several times.

We called for lunch on a Bank-Holiday, the cafe was reasonably busy. And possibly as a result, unfortunately the food service was extremely slow (about 40 minutes) after our order was taken. Once our food arrived though, it was well prepared and presented.

Popped in to try some vegan food and was suggested a vegan fish sandwich, with I agreed to. There wasn’t much choice for drinks - I opted for banana, strawberry smoothie…. Food arrived… looked ok, but … the taste was not £17.45 worth at all…can’t describe the taste of that sandwich, try a bicarbonate of soda, whatever the filling was… do not wish to taste that again in my life…. As per smoothie - did not taste the banana in it at all…and was disappointed that it was made from frozen strawberries, also could taste too much of orange juice… The ambiance and waiting staff were lovely, the food way overpriced for what you get…

Gosh only went in for a coffee and a toasted teacake but it was packed with families having lunch or brunch. The food looked fabulous. The waitresses were well organised and attentive. Definitely will go again but maybe not on a Sunday lunchtime because it is too busy for a casual 15 minutes. They allow table reservations so I would recommend that to ensure you are not disappointed

This was a solid pub to visit, with a stylish counter and pretty lights! The signs and mirrors on the walls add to this, the staff were friendly and seating is comfortable. Me and my friend enjoyed a shot each, although the service was quite slow.

Lovely food, had the fish sandwich on white bloomer which was very nice. Came with some salad and coleslaw, just the right amount to accompany it. The only thing that disappointed on this visit was the length of time we had to wait before being served. It was 45 minutes after we arrived until our order was taken and then quite a while longer before the food appeared. In future I would try and hurry the order up by asking at the counter, this visit won't put me off going again.

Why all of a sudden are tables in cafe's being reserved. We arrived one minute past opening time and had a choice of 2 tables. After that the reserved table next to us was taken by a large group with children and prams everywhere. We won't be rushing back.

Haven't been here since it was the Coffee Lounge until today. We chose to sit outside as the sun was out (intermittently!). We don't do it often enough but we had a lovely brunch; really friendly service, no waiting for drinks or food, was all served quickly & hot. We'll definitely come again :)

Sat down, 10 minutes before given menus. First order and drinks arrived. 10 minutes later we finished them while waiting for 2nd food order. Waited another 5 minutes then went in to say ‘forget it’. The reaction was one of ‘why couldn’t you wait a bit longer’. Well we had drank our drinks and one had finished eating for a start and we had sat outside for best part of 30 minutes. Probably the poorest service I’ve ever received in a cafe.

This is a fabulous place for lunch or even just a coffee, recommend booking as so busy. The staff are great and the waitress Deborah is excellent. We are going again next week.

Not the best experience! not full, yet waited 20mins before coffee made it to the table, 45mins for food that doesn't really require cooking.... and water never arrived. Asked if bread that is served could be swapped for rosemary chips, was told that of sourse it could, but waitress forgot to bring them. Had to ask for the chips, and not for the rosemary ones but a few plain chips. Somehow we were charged extra for that portion. It would have been nice if waitress told us we would be charged, water made it the table and waitress more interested. Didn't ask if food was ok, nor why the water never arrived...we ended up walking up to the counter to pay because noone is paying attention to the customers... Shame, because it is a nice place and previous visits were a lot better than this! Not sure what would the service be like if place was fully booked!

The food is good though not a great variety. The place is small, very crowded, so obviously popular. The service was very good - they moved us from a table near the door to one less draughty when it became free.

Chilli beef nachos, goats cheese salad, fries and onion rings on the side - all delicious! The coffee was great as usual.

I've eaten here for breakfast a few times on Sunday and it has been excellent each time. Good quality ingredients, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Simply the best breakfast I've had in and around West Yorkshire. Keep it up!

Maybe the evening food is good, maybe when not so busy staff might be a little more attentive who knows? Booked a table for lunch, arrived, table not ready, stood waiting for 10 minutes, still no table, no apologies, no staff looking or speaking to us at any point. Very basic lunch menu, not deserving of the glowing reviews

I had lunch here today and was impressed with the welcome and service. The food (Avocado and roast vegetable salad) was delicious. Beautifully presented and served very promptly. I would highly recommend this venue for great staff welcoming and efficient. The food and beverages are lovely. The ambience is inviting and the outside seating is an added bonus. One of my favourite cafes in Bingley.

There was a nice atmosphere here.Me and a friend just called in for a little bit to eat.The staff were very friendly and the food was nice.We had a bit of a wait for some reason about 30 minutes and at £25 for two sandwiches and two teas it wasn't cheap, but nice I would go again. There was also some lovely looking cakes but time ran out on us, maybe next time. Cheers

Very rude management, young man was cleaning tables and the manager was incredibly rude to him in regards to us being sat at a dirty table. If that's how they treat staff, not recommended

Sssshhhh, keep this to yourselves but they have possibly the most delicious, crumbliest fruit scones in the UK!

After being a loyal customer to The Lounge and visiting regularly for some time now, we have just had future bookings cancelled as I didn't cancel my booking last night due to being rushed to the maternity centre to have my unborn baby monitored. The member of staff was rude and abrupt and had no understanding of this situation whatsoever. He said I should have phoned regardless. The health of my unborn baby took priority over cancelling the tsble yesterday evening. Will not be returning again.

We made a spur of the moment decision to go to The Lounge for a late breakfast. Our order was taken quickly, and the delicious food and drinks arrived soon after. The staff are all lovely, attentive and helpful and the fare is excellent value for money. Well done!!!

Visiting Bingley we stopped here for coffee and scones,both great, so decided to book for dinner We weren't disappointed ,the food was excellent, great value for money.The staff and service were really good too We would have no hesitation in recommending The Lounge and if we're back in the area it will be our first port of call

Cannot recommended this gorgeous cafe enough! We had never been before but 7 of us turned up on the Sunday (today) of august bank holiday weekend with no booking and although busy, by a strike of luck they could accommodate us. They promptly took our order and brought us our drinks. They were extremely friendly and even brought smaller cutlery for our little ones. Our food arrived in good time and was absolutely beautiful, all freshly baked and prepared. I can easily say this is the BEST place we have been for breakfast in a very long time. Unfortunately, due to no fault of their own, my sister was unwell and ended up fainting while we was there. The staff COULD NOT do enough!! One lovely lady, Verity, took very good care of her. She got down on the floor with her and talked to her all the way through. We are very impressed with the customer care and the beautiful food we received and it’s safe to say we have booked back in for the following week!

My friend and I visited this venue just for drinks. After 10 minutes we reminded them of our order. After 25 minutes ,when our order still hadn't arrived, we decided to leave. Not enough staff.

My friend and I went in for lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was perhaps a bit like a greasy spoon cafe, but it was spacious and airy. Staff were so good at their jobs. They ensured we had everything we needed or wanted. The food tasted fresh and tasty. My friend and I ended up staying for approximately four hours, maybe longer. We hadn't had a good catch up face to face for a long time. Not once did either of us feel as though they needed our table, we were asked if they could get anything else for us. The staff were superb on customer service, friendly, polite and professional. I enjoyed it so much that I have since taken another friend there for lunch and she too enjoyed it very much indeed. The only complaint I would have, is that on previous occasions, my friend has picked me up from my door and with my blue badges, I was able to walk, with sticks, the very short walk to our booked table. (I would recommend booking a table as it gets very busy over the lunchtime period). However, when I took my other friend, I booked a table, telling them I would be in my wheelchair. They kindly asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside. I chose inside because the weather was extremely hot. Again, I told them I was a wheelchair user. When I got there, there was a large step, I asked if they had a ramp and she said no, it wasn't a huge problem as we sat outside. I couldn't remember from my previous visits if there was a step or steps to get inside, but on two separate calls I told them I was a wheelchair user. So staff should've been more aware and certainly for the future. I am not going to knock a star off for this because everything else was perfect. Staff even came out and suggested that because it was so hot and my friend and I had been sat in the sun for so long that they thought it would be wise for us to sit in the shade. I thought that this was extremely kind and very thoughtful so I am not going to knock a star off. A lovely place, food is yummy, cakes were delicious (I think they are hand made). Cannot recommend enough. Superb place to drink, eat and meet friends. Absolutely top notch!!

My daughter and I had lunch on Monday 15 August 2022. The venue was very busy, which is always a good sign. I had a warm avocado salad which was superb. This was a very good portion the attention to detail was very good. My daughter also had a warm salad. Hers was equally as good. It was clearly busy but the staff were attentive and friendly. A lovely place to eat. I would highly recommend.

We went inside to pay the bill which where i expressed my option on the Breakfast experience a young man behind the counter tried to interrogate me on where we would normally eat breakfast which was extremely rude and had no customer service ability's on dealing with a customer complaint at this point i confirmed my original complaint and left well done the Lounge in Bingley your attention to customer satisfaction is clearly not a strong point and we will certainly convey our experience if asked about this establishment .

Good coffee and eggs on toast. But the service was lamentable: we waited long to order, and even longer - 30 mins - for the order to be served. They shouldn't have more tables than they can serve with the staff available. At least they gave me £1 off the bill to reimburse the additional car park fee I paid.
