Visited the cafe , Very good coffee, lovely and strong. Enjoyed our food too, tea cakes and a bacon sandwich, all very nice. The lady in charge was very friendly. A good experience will return. Plenty of antiques to look at spread over many rooms, good to gave a good look around..

Stopped for a quick snack, lovely place, clean and very friendly. Had a lovely well filled sausage and egg breadcake, with a cup of tea, can sit in or out. Unfortunately its take way only at the moment but either way highly recommended

Was recommended this place for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. Staff very polite, immaculate restaurant, great menu and superb quality of food. Will definitely be back

I’ve only knocked a star off as I’m a vodka drinker, and the vodka selection is not good. No grey goose, no belvedere, only Smirnoff or absolute, and for me absolutely not. for a pub with the most amazing food, amazing atmosphere and excellent staff and chef, I would expect a decent vodka. That’s the only fault I have.so not major. hopefully on my next visit, and i definitely will be returning, they have a vodka that is a better choice over Smirnoff. I would recommend anyone visit this pub. It’s fantastic and the food will leave you feeling very happy with the choice.

Visited today for food,the staff were fab,explained the meus well also and were so helpful and polite such a nice change ,food was fab,piping hot and very tasty,very busy beer garden due to good weather but service was 2st class,highly recommend and top praise fir everything

La comida, el servicio y los alrededores eran excepcionales. Fuimos tratados como uno de la familia y mi esposa incluso recibió una onagra, al igual que todas las madres. Ese fue un gesto muy amable - toque encantador! La comida estaba muy bien presentado, pero el sabor era wow! El servicio fue impecable, amable y atento. A visit with friends to enjoy lunch . Food was lovely . However service wasn't great . In fact at times verging on rude . Really spoilt our experience .

We live in the local area so thought we would try it as i've not been for years, The staff i cant fault, pleasant and good service but the food was a total let down. The hanging chicken kebab i believe must have been deep fried, it certainly wasn't grilled, it was coated in grease and difficult to eat, the worst hanging kebab i've had. A shame as we dine out frequently and would have returned if the food was nice.

Lovely family meal and beer, all very reasonably priced. Great decor throughout and amazing view too. This is a proper pub!

Stayed over night in the truck...good food and amazing views...what's not to like...chicken burger is excellent... top fella too...

Having visited the Strafford Arms a couple of months ago for a pleasant Sunday lunch my wife and I decided to visit again for dinner. On a beautiful April evening we sat outside and ordered the Burger for myself and Beetroot salad for my wife. This was truly one of the worst meals out I have ever experienced prompting me to write my first ever review. The burger was overcooked and the bacon absolutely burnt to a cinder the account sales leaves looked like they were from last weeks bag. I cannot remember the last time I complained about a meal but such was the experience I felt compelled to. I presented the bar lady a sample of the “charcoal” bacon and she proceeded to speak to the “chef” . We received an apology and told that had we brought this to their attention earlier maybe something could have been done. We have heard about what chefs can do to meals from complaining customers so we refrained from that. We were offered a drink as compensation but just wanted to let management know that if this is the standards of the cuisine then the business will not survive very long. Still cannot believe just how bad it was !
