Visited the cafe , Very good coffee, lovely and strong. Enjoyed our food too, tea cakes and a bacon sandwich, all very nice. The lady in charge was very friendly. A good experience will return. Plenty of antiques to look at spread over many rooms, good to gave a good look around..

Stopped for a quick snack, lovely place, clean and very friendly. Had a lovely well filled sausage and egg breadcake, with a cup of tea, can sit in or out. Unfortunately its take way only at the moment but either way highly recommended

Warm welcome on our first visit here with our two friends. We had an excellent meal . The staff were very polite and friendly, and very helpful. Planning our next visit soon

I’ve only knocked a star off as I’m a vodka drinker, and the vodka selection is not good. No grey goose, no belvedere, only Smirnoff or absolute, and for me absolutely not. for a pub with the most amazing food, amazing atmosphere and excellent staff and chef, I would expect a decent vodka. That’s the only fault I have.so not major. hopefully on my next visit, and i definitely will be returning, they have a vodka that is a better choice over Smirnoff. I would recommend anyone visit this pub. It’s fantastic and the food will leave you feeling very happy with the choice.

The Sunday lunch was absolutely terrible The roast potatoes were not fresh but frozen Dried out completely very hard Out table was booked for one o'clock didn't get anything to eat until 1.55 There were eight of us at the table not enough vegetables Very overpriced for what you got. Never again

Perfect for a leisurely Sunday roast with well kept ales and excellent service from staff.

We recently celebrated my sister's Birthday here and it was excellent! Great service, great food, great atmosphere and great value for money too. We were able to decorate the area which made it feel extra special, and even got a Birthday cake 'on the house'. A huge Thank You to Paul and his team for making it such a special occasion, we will definitely be coming back!

lovely country pub. very friendly staff. very good selection of drinks. fantastic views over the country side. only downside, car park is up a steep hill.

Stayed over night in the truck...good food and amazing views...what's not to like...chicken burger is excellent... top fella too...

Really disappointing afternoon tea. The room was freezing. Had to wrap myself in my scarf and cover my legs with it. The food was bizarre. Mini fish and chips were lovely. A large piece of melted cheese flatbread. A lukewarm slice of bread with melted cheese and a few tomato pieces on top. A teacup of pasta in a sauce that could only be described as melted butter with a shaving of Parmesan and two bland pieces of fried halloumi. Desserts- no scone. Small milk bottle of pink fluid, shot glass of pink mousse, a piece of bakewell ( which was nice) and two chocolate desserts. It was very underwhelming. One of the staff was rude to my husband. The only positive was the lady who seemed to be in charge was really nice. Spend your £25 a head on a proper meal elsewhere. Always highly rated this restaurant before but very disappointed this visit.
