Arrived with small dog asked to sit in a certain area by chap behind the bar, even pointed to a table in designated area so we did. Halfway between our drink we were asked to move to the far end of the pub to make room for another couple with their dog!!! Needlessly to say, we didn't bother ordering food, quickly drunk our beer and left! How rude!!!

Big party of us visited for a late Sunday lunch. The food was great. The veg and gravy kept coming and coming. Nothing too much trouble. Very friendly. Will definitely visit again.

We found this pub very welcoming indeed . Mark and Julie were perfect hosts . Mark took the time to inform us of some lovely walks as we were staying at a campsite nearby . The locals were very friendly too . We had tried the fish and chips as had been recommended to us , we were not disappointed as they were lovely and even had proper mushy peas ( not tinned ) . We will be back :-)

A wonderful meal. No menu, just roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, mashed and roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, peas and loads of lovely gravy. Everything cooked to perfection. All at a fantastic price. I will be back very soon.

I didnt have food, but friday night, karaoke, pool table, facilities ok. Good local atmosphere, plenty of seating. Outdoor area for smoking. Ground floor and suitable for wheelchair users.

We have used the cafe for a while but recently we have had a number of issues with wrong orders or food / drinks not turning up at all until chased up, in addition to long waiting times. Shame , victim of its own success perhaps.

Called in here for a sandwich while delivering in the local area saw signs on the window that said sausage sandwich £1.99 breakfast in a box £5.49 thought sounds OK so when we went in first thing I noticed was that the bread rolls were tiny like Warburtons so asked if they did large to which the lady behind the counter pointed out some larger rolls so then we noticed no menu so I got bacon and hashbrown and I asked for a bit of tomato which really was a bit just a teaspoon full of juice hubby got bacon mushroom and tomato with black pepper the lady seemed like she didn't want to be there when we got our sandwiches the lady went to the till and passes us the card machine and said £12.20 I just automatically paid it but then realised that was expensive to say a full breakfast was advertised at £5.49 the sandwich was luke warm like the bacon was just kept in a warmer and cooked a lot earlier the bread roll was burnt on the bottom and was really chewy if it wasn't so expensive we would of thrown them away
