The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

2 of us with 1 of us gluten free as a Coeliac. We look online for restaurants that actually take the time to show GF options and this was the case. It says it is small and intimate which it is but it is really a lovely space with outside tables should you wish and log ovens outside for certain days in the season. Good choice of food and we were there for Sunday lunch.A special on was half a lobster! I had that with chicken liver pate as a starter and lovely (unusually) GF bread. My wife had the roast beef dinner. The chef certainly knows how to cook and present, the staff know the dishes and the portions are, well, way above what you expect. All desserts are priced the same. I think that's the way forward. Nice choice of wines too.It's just a very relaxing place to sit and dine. Spotlessly clean too. We chatted with the owner and staff and they are clearly proud of what they have there, so they should be. we will be back!

Me detuve en lo que, por fuera, parecía una buena cafetería con buenas críticas de los asesores de viaje y pidió un café para llevar para mí y mi esposa. ¡Probablemente el peor café que he bebido! Los frijoles sabían a quemado, tenía que tirarlo a 100 m de la tienda. Mi esposa pidió una leche no láctea en la suya. Salió frío y el barista usó una máquina que estaba llena de leche láctea.

The only thing you need to be aware of when visiting Memory Lane Tea Room is that it is a cash only establishment. We hmmade a no hassle booking over the telephone for four adults and one infant. We received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Our drinks orders were taken and by the time we had chosen our meals they has been served to us at the table. A very good menu is available. Just when we thought " yes, I'll have that" something else just as appealing caught your eye, then something else, then something else. The food itself did not disappoint. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Everyone of us commented on how tasty the food was. Four adult mains and desserts with drinks and a child's tray £53.35. Far less than we expected. Worthy of another visit in the not too distant future.

Desayuno de carne Halal. . bien presentado y delicioso. El personal era muy atento y la comida salió caliente. El lugar en sí estaba muy limpio y espacioso. Muy amigable con los niños. Los baños estaban muy limpios y olían muy fresco.

Encontré esta pequeña joya mientras veía un partido de fútbol en Kiveton Park y ahora definitivamente estaré asistiendo a todos los partidos de visita cuando jueguen allí solo para que no pueda volver aquí de nuevo! Popped in here for lunch on Saturday 27-08-22. So impressed. Good quality ingredients, reasonably priced. Home made pies,quiche. So good went back half an hour later and purchased takeaway salad for tea as well!!! Service and staff first rate.

Ordered a medium beef dinner, yorkshire pudding wrap, lemon cake and a apple crumble/custard. All were lovely! Fast service and good price for quality food. Would definitely come again and recommend x

Mi abuela y yo venimos aquí la mayoría de las semanas, es nuestra cafetería favorita en la zona. El personal es siempre encantador, siempre nos reciben con una sonrisa y un servicio increíble. La comida y las bebidas son siempre absolutamente fantástico! Sin duda vale la pena la visita cada vez!

Qué experiencia tan increíble. Visité la Arboleda con colegas de Sandwell College. The Grove es un centro de formación para jóvenes que estudian Catering y Hospitalidad en Bradford College.
