The Fig Tree in North Lincolnshire

Very pleasant tea room indeed .the staff efficient and friendly .they were brilliant with my baby grandson. Nicely cooked and presented food .Will return next time in the area

Visiting the area for a couple of days we came across the Fig Tree. The menu in the window offered a variety of interesting options. We both ordered the ‘picnic platter’. What a spread, and so beautifully presented. Quality cooked ham, delicious bacon and cheese quiche, a warm ciabatta roll, salad, coleslaw, sweet chutney, honey and mustard dressing (in a separate pot) apple, grapes and raspberries. All quality produce and delicious. I thoroughly recommend and if we return to Barton on Humber we will return.

I’m local and have been here many times, this is a great spot for a bite to eat. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great staff. I have never had a bad feed here. The menu is great, the breakfast menu is served all day - no 11:00 o’clock cut off! 👍🏼 The cakes are delicious too. Highly recommend you pop in if you find yourself on the high street.

Was initially put off as sign in window said preferred payment is cash. We didn't have cash and the cash machine wasn't working. Went into another cafe which was dismal, so found another cash machine and returned to The Fig tree. Absolutely delighted with the meal, I had the ploughman's platter and it was heaven on a plate! Warm crusty bread, quiche, crackers cheese, fruit, chutney etc. Greek Salad with pitta bread was amazing too. Some very different choices on the menu's including several vegan/vegi options which looked very tempting too. We ofternvisit Far Ings reserve nearby so we will definately call in for lunch again next time. Yummy

Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean environment. Great menu choices, all freshly prepared. Loved the pancakes.

Excellent lunch of ploughman’s - well worth the money. All food looked delicious. Was very busy with take aways when we arrived but we were given a menu very quickly. A little wait for our food but was definitely worth it

Nice for cakes and snacks, friendly service and reasonably priced. I think the kitchen needs a better extraction fan as our clothes smelt heavily of cooking once we were home

Ordered some cupcakes from here for a special occasion and they were delicious, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a treat.

What a lovely cafe that’s mostly run by a family. Great food and lovely staff who, even though they’re busy, will take the time to listen to you. Can’t fault it as the food is excellent too

Surprisingly varied and interesting menu + a specials board - everything from "all day breakfasts" to beautifully presented "mixed cheese and fresh fruits board". I had a tasty home-made soup with a bacon sandwich while my wife had a mushroom omlette. We will definitely return.

Weve eaten here about 20 times now and it never disappoints. But this week I tried the Ploughmans but with extra ham, really it was the best lunch of this type I've ever had. And I'm not really easy to please! Highly recommended.

My friend and I always thoroughly enjoy eating here; the food is beautiful, the service is always excellent and it has a wonderful atmosphere.

If you can find a seat here, the Fig Tree has recently been taken over by a new proprietor and all that is produced here, is of excellent quality, price and quantity. Advise you book, if wanting to definitely visit here. Good prices and excellent quality are high on the list here - try it and enjoy!

Went with family for breakfast and it was very very good. Freshly cooked including cooking fried egg to just the egg white for our grandson. Friendly staff, quality food and freshly cooked.

We have been to The Fig Tree quite a few times since it opened for breakfast and dinner and the meals are delicious, the staff are all really friendly in there. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend The Fig Tree.
