We went to this pub for some ales and dinner. Cosy historic pub room with nice ales and lovely hostess Charlotte. Behind the pub is a renovated space with kitchen and restaurant. Mark has been the chef for 3 years and he exudes enthusiasm and passion for his profession. He showed us the fresh ingredients and gave us good recommendations. Fantastic food, really sublime (pork carbonade, lamb with delicious starters and desserts). Worth the detour!!!

Love this place. Great coffee and cake. Just the job half way round a 50 mile bike ride!!

Lovely local pub, staff friendly, prices very reasonable and dog friendly (inside & outside).

One of the best lunches we have ever had! Not many tables (maybe 6) indoors, and a few outside as well - we timed it well, as it got busier the longer we stayed. The team is so friendly and welcoming, prices are reasonable and the food is exceptional! We had New Yorker Bagel and Pork Gyros - so flavourful, big portions and well-presented. They also have a bakery selection at the counter and we had a Kinder Blondie and Double Decker Cookie - both very decadent! A must-visit!

Just had a lovely afternoon that I’d definitely recommend. A great selection of sandwiches and cakes and copious pots of tea. Staff were very attentive and the setting was lovely and cozy on a dark damp February afternoon. Made to feel very welcome.

We arrived in Ironbridge peckish for something before a walk in the sunshine and The Tea Emporium looked right up our street. My wife went for a bacon and mushroom bap and asked for the bacon well done with an oat flat white. I went for a sausage and egg baguette with a pot of English Breakfast tea. It was above our expectations and the food was delicious. You'd expect loose leaf tea at this venue but I had a bigger pot than anticipated which was a plus. Friendly service and nothing was too much trouble.

We saw a sign on the Bridgnorth to Stourbridge road and took a chance on popping in for coffee and cake. Very glad we did! Lovely location, great staff and the coffee and home made cake was super! Worth noting it’s a cash only business because the location makes getting a signal difficult. We had no cash, but were able to pay by bank transfer. Definitely recommended.

Firstly , the staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful. There was so many options on the menu I didn’t know what to pick but went for a baguette and I can’t express enough how good and delicious it was , lastly the range of cakes they have to offer is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend

We arrived less than half an hour before closing and ordered sausage egg and chips and the staff were great. They even checked with us if we minded them sweeping up ahead of their closing time. This is good honest food well cooked and at a great price. So glad we took the time to walk here from the centre where food was 3x more expensive!

As a truck driver, I use cafes all around the UK and beyond. I have to say that Big Daves is definitely my favourite! The first thing you notice walking in is how spotlessly clean it is. Floor, walls, counter, everything is sparkling. Dave and his wife are a lovely couple who always make you feel welcome. It's always busy with local people eating in or grabbing a takeout, which is always a sign of a good cafe. That said, you never have to wait too long for your food. There is a wider menu, but I've only ever been for the full English breakfast, which is fantastic! Really good quality food. I recommend this cafe highly.
