Went and got a much needed breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was top notch! Lovely bacon and sausages, nothing was greasy, everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were lovely and the price was good too!

Breakfast has been lovely each time we've eaten here . The food is always piping hot . Service is brilliant and always happy smiley staff .

Visited Clifford's for brunch today with my husband. What a great way to start the day ! We had the most delicious bacon sandwiches ever and a lovely cup of tea. It's a 10 out of 10 ; great tasty food, squeaky clean environment and so very pretty inside. The staff are genuinely welcoming and efficient. Definitely recommend this cafe , look forward to returning soon.

Great cafe with lovely staff and delicious food. Grandson and I came in for lunch and he had a really great Small Breakfast and I had a very nice jacket potato. Clean and bright and the staff were just fabulous

We were going out for the afternoon and we wanted a little something to eat. I live in Polesworth and I remembered there is a small cafe in the village. I had not been in before and I was pleasantly surprised it had a lovely atmosphere. The man that served us who I presumed was the owner was pleasant and welcoming. I had a bacon sandwich it was lovely and fresh and my hot drink was nice too I shall definitely be visiting if again

Food- brilliant and presentation. My wife ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The team made the place stand out and made everything about polesworth. One of the chefs I didn’t get the name of unfortunately. Love to go again, and was a n excellent Sunday treat to start the day. ❤️ Lots of love x

Quick lunch of egg and bacon sandwich with a coffee. Fast, friendly service of quality food. Few in as near closing but nice hubbub and was clean, tidy and well looked after place.

Solo female with baby visiting - Lovely little independent cafe. I ordered a bacon and egg sandwhich which was lovely. Gent serving who I'm assuming is the owner was very friendly and chatty. Really nice interior, proper local feel. Opening times I found can be hit and miss, probably demand driven. I had a coffee and cake also. Coffee isn't barista but a machine but was still nice. I had a brownie and it was one of the best brownies I've ever tried.. Will visit again for a coffee next time I'm on my walk.

Probably the best example of how to be made truly welcome. As a carer and taking my clients out into the community with me. I can honestly say we are always made to feel incredibly special by all the staff. The food is of a very high standard and outstanding value. It’s a very clean and cosy environment. The choices on the menu are plentyful and there’s something for everyone. I would highly recommend Clifford’s to anyone.

Pleasant polite staff who make sure that you know what is available at that moment. The breakfast was pleasantly cooked and served. The Caffe is in a very nice village I would love to go there again.

So lucky to live in a village who has a family run business like this. Forget Starbucks and and all those. This is a real cafe that deserves the whole village to support. Just a quick coffee when passing is lovely, brings the whole village together places like this, Andy luckily the food is decent too. Lovely fry up. Hope this place is doing really well it should be.

007 pictures and war time bunting in a nicely decorated interior. Breakfast options reasonably priced with a competition charity portion on the menu which is free if you doubtfully manage it. Coffee machine for eat in or take away. Service with a smile. Opening time includes a Sunday morning.

Stop here quite often for both food and hot drinks. Always very welcoming and both food and drinks are spot on. If your near make sure to stop by.

We visited Polesworth Todoy and walked up the high street where we found Clifford’s an amazing restaurant we had two of the breakfast which was piping hot our waitress Emma was polite and courteous to all and Wayne and his wife served the nicest breakfast five stars all around x

Absolutely first class. Very friendly man ( may be owner) . Took time to speak with customers and attentive to their requests . Service impeccable and food is excellent Two special full English breakfast s and a separate order of poached eggs on toast was served in double quick time. Even replaced tomatoes not wanted with extra of black pudding. Prices are unbelievably cheap for large meals . Cafe is immaculately clean along with excellent bathroom facility. Highly recommended *****

Stopped off in the middle of a 50 mile bike ride for a nice breakfast. I had a cooked breakfast, friend had a baguette. We were both specific around certain things (crispy bacon, coffee orders, breakfast order etc) and everything came as requested and in good time. Food was nice and service was friendly. It was pretty busy (Saturday morning ~10:30) and its not the biggest place. Price was fair (£12 for everything: baguette, cooked breakfast, tea, coffee and coke). Somewhere to lock the bikes outside would've been handy but no biggy, found a drain pipe! Great place for a nice breakfast, thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic cafe! Great sandwiches and breakfasts, fantastic value meals delivered locally. Friendly service. The only downside? They're only open until 1:00pm.

We were passing through Polesworth this morning and decided that a cooked breakfast would be just the thing to set us up for the day so we popped in to Cliffords. It’s small (6 tables inside) but was bright, had a lovely homely feel and spotlessly clean. The guy behind the counter was friendly and polite and we were served quickly with what turned out to be two delicious breakfasts with 2 slices of buttery toast and two mugs of great tea to wash it all down and it came to a very reasonable £16.30 given the quality of the food and the good portion sizes. If we’re back in the area we’d certainly go there again.

The food was 10/10! The service was fast & the man who served me was very polite! Definitely coming back in the future.

Very friendly and helpful. The delivery service during COVID-19 is brilliant. Cannot fault the food. My favourite is the Sunday roast dinner.

Fabulous home cooked meals at reasonable prices They do a delivery service Wednesday and Saturday night and Sunday lunchtime. I even managed to drop my bracelet and very kindly dropped it up to me Would highly recommend to anyone 💜

Six of us stopped here while on a 200km training ride. Despite COVID-19 restrictions the service was superb and the sandwiches were so tasty and fresh, top marks.

It's now called Licensed to Grill and is 007 themed. We had an excellent bacon and egg sandwich and good quality coffees. Clean with a good atmosphere and pleasant staff.
