Friendly staff, great breakfast that was tasty and freshly cooked it was also piping hot.

The people were so nice and the service was quick and prices were amazing. Defo going here a lot more

Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time and really nice staff. Ordered 4 sandwiches for takeaway. They still hot when I got home with them. Highly recommend. Cafe was full when we went in to order. Waited 30 minutes which was worth it. Definitely my go to from now on.

Popped in for tea and had picked cheese on toast too which was really nice. Staff all friendly, we were seen too fairly quickly with the tea, but did have a bit of a wait as the place was nearly full, however a couple who came in 10 minutes after us were served their sandwiches before us. Will probably try again next time when it’s less busy . Also unfortunately there did appear to be a lack of Wi-Fi.

Really good food at reasonable prices

Staff weren't very welcoming at all, didn't seem bothered about our custom. Asked if they do takeaway and was responded with a yes but obviously I'm going to serve all of these people first. Shocking customer service. Maybe try and be a bit less hostile towards new customers!

Excellent breakfast, there's plenty of choice including 3 full English options that vary in size, all the usual drinks available, located in the centre of town, clean, tidy and Excellent service from the staff. Also does lunches. Would definitely visit again.

The drinks coffee chocolate etc are to die for. You want a full English breakfast don't go any where else. Don't change what is perfect .

Wanted a classic fried breakfast and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s nothing fancy but it definitely does what it says on the tin, is reasonably priced and the service was quick and very welcoming. Would go again!

Discover this Cafe early this year on a visit to Atherstone. Now whenever I'm here I always come to this Cafe. The staff are so polite and friendly and the food, be it breakfast, lunch or whatever, is delicious and of excellent quality and whatakes it even better is it's well priced as well.

Went into today with me 2 mates were we get together for breakfast we like to try new places out.lets say was very happy to pay the price of just below a tenner well surprised on how much we got which was loads.very good food tasted lush and the name of breakfast belly duster wasn't wrong filled me.defo recommend anyone to go I know we will again

The best full English I think we’ve ever had, piping hot, really tasty, the service was fab, the staff are friendly and the cafe itself is really welcoming. Fully recommend getting yourself down there for some yummy food.

We went to The Old Bakery Cafe, partially from reviews, but also from recommendations. We were not disappointed at all. We had a rare treat for us, full English breakfast "The Full Up", and I can say it was the best cooked breakfast I have ever had. The staff were brilliant, efficient and seamless. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the quality was excellent. Well done team top result in flavour town! We will be back.👍

Have been here lots of times for breakfast ,lunch and dinner,the Sunday lunch is amazing huge portions and the best roast beef we have tasted ,very nice cooked breakfast and lovely toasted sandwiches ,the staff are just lovely always friendly and happy to have a chat . definitely a 5 stars from us .

My sister & I visited the Old Bakery yesterday for Sunday Lunch, it was quite late when we arrived but were made to feel very welcome. We both had the Sunday Lunches which were excellent, generous slices of Turkey & Beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes & veg. The portions are generous & very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back

Great little cafe, friendly staff.

We found this cafe by chance and went in for lunch. The service was very fast and the staff polite and attentive. The menu is quite quirky when compared to a lot of chain cafes which was great and there was a lot of choice. The food was quick to arrive, there was plenty of it - loads of good veg - and it was all piping hot. I had the bread and butter pudding and it came with a full bowl of custard which was great as most of the time cafes and restaurants serve minuscule amounts in little jugs! I like my pudding floating in custard and wasn’t disappointed! Very impressed by the prices too. If you’re looking for glitz and glamour then this isn’t the place for you. If you want good food served quickly in a pleasant environment then I can recommend The Old Bakery Cafe. We went back for lunch again the next day!

Stayed in Atherstone and breakfasted three days running at the old bakery cafe. Fabulous food, great value, charming staff. If you haven't been, you are missing out.

Popped in to Atherstone for a bit of shopping and thought I'd have a coffe and cake. Walked past and popped in and asked if they did cake. Home made cake i was told so I was sold straight away. Had the Lemon sponge cake and a latte. Honestly it was the best sponge cake I've ever had. Nice friendly staff and very welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

A great place for some cheap and cheerful grub. I really enjoyed the belly buster breakfast. A lovely little gem of a café right in the heart of Atherstone. I've been twice now and am sure I'll come back again.

Went there for a snack on Sunday 7th with the wife,never been before but will definantly be going back. The staff were attentive & polite,sat us at a nice clean table. Offered menu & asked if wanted drinks,we both ordered ham/cheese Omelette,chips & salad. Came up in reasonable time & hot.. went down a treat,then wife had treacle sponge with custard for dessert,very nice but very very hot which made me laugh as she kept burning her mouth Ha Ha Ha

Great food & great service I would highly recommend it

We paid our first visit to the cafe today (1st April 2023) and our breakfast was first class. We like to visit different places and this lovely cafe has taken top spot on our breakfast experiences for the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the premises and the lovely welcome we received from Grace and Pam. Cannot fault this cafe for food and service. I often order breakfast from there to take away and they will happily adjust their menu to make whatever you fancy. Service is always fantastic, all the women that work there are genuine and friendly and to top it off they do a fab English breakfast.

Lovely home cooked food at a reasonable price, served by welcoming, friendly, lovely yet professional Staff. P.s. absolutely immaculately clean.

Just been to Old Bakery. Cottage Pie was beautiful good portions. Propper home made food. Very busy on Saturday 14th January, but well worth the wait.

Best take away breakfasts in the town! They say you get what you pay for. This is slightly more expensive than other shops in the town but definitely the best and worth paying the extra £1 or 2!

Called on Wednesday afternoon and had jacket potatoes which were wonderful, so called again on Thursday for breakfast once again excellent meal and great service.

The belly buster was amazing and the quality was excellent. My one issue that I have is that for the price of almost £10. You should have at least 3 slices of bread and not just one as you might as well cook it at home and have extra slices. The staff was very nice and friendly. When a mistake happened with my husbands vegetarian breakfast they corrected it immediately. The cafe was clean tidy and I definitely recommend. The cafe should look in to a loyalty point scheme a free pot of tea when you have been in so many times. (just an idea).

Nipped in for brunch before heading back from a wedding; food was delicious, staff were really friendly and really on it and the food arrived really quickly. Coffee tasted excellent too and the little sugar pouches made me smile 😆

Fab breakfast today. We were staying at Red Lion opposite, but so glad we chose this cafe for our breakfast. So friendly, great menu, lovely food cooked perfectly. Great late coffee too. Clean place, highly recommended.

More rice than chili con carne Which for what I had made it experience too and when complained was told that was the portion size for everyone its a shame as I want be going back again

I had a "just enough" breakfast 2 toast and tea. I must say I enjoyed it very much, it was reasonably price. Staff pleasant, I will be going back.

Top quality home cooked food, that is their own unique menu. I cannot remember having a dish with cheesy potatoes with fabulous sausages like this before. I wonder what I might try upon my next visit. Atherstone is a town not dominated by the brands found in every city high street with the same laminated menus. It's full of nice surprises.

We popped in after a walk, unsure of what the cafe offered. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable, which we really liked. We decided to have Sunday lunch which was lovely, well cooked and just the right size. Perfect.

Last 2 full english breakfasts have been spot on, cant fault this place at all. You may have to wait to be seated (5-10 minutes) but it's worth it!

Really friendly and welcoming staff. I was looking to purchase a BEST sandwich and this seems to be the only cafe that sells them along Long Street. It was cooked to perfection so will definitely be back in future.

I love this little cafe in Atherstone and highly recommend that you pop in for a visit. There is a good selection of fresh foods and drinks from the menu and specials board for you to choose from and the breakfasts are the best in the town. I highly recommend that you try the breakfasts they are so good. Pam and her team are very helpful, kind and friendly and always greet you with a smile. Xx
