Popped into AJ's for breakfast. So small breakfast at £7 you get 2 sausage, an egg, thick back bacon, beans or tomatoes, toast and a nice coffee. Quality ingredients perfectly prepared, friendly service at really sensible cost. Take a look at their sandwich selection, awesome and really affordable. We will be back again soon.

Not able to visit Kidderminster and the SVR since 2019 before Covid, I finally got to visit in August 2023 at last. I was staying at the travelodge for 9 days, and needing somewhere to eat each day before I went on the SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY. AJ's Diner is just around the corner from the SVR, I have eaten there over many years and it never dissapoints, tasty breakfasts and plenty of it. So many businesses have gone, I was shocked how the town has been affected. So to find AJ's still there was fantastic, still serving the same delicious english breakfasts, at value for money prices. Their baps are ideal if you want to take one or two on the first train out, I did a few times if I was pushed for time. I recommended AJ's as the place you should eat in Kidderminster to so many people I met over the 9 days on the SVR , so make sure you go there and you'll be delighted you did.

There's a good reason why AJ's is Robert Plant's local and it's astounding/upsetting seeing people give this place less than 5 stars. Unbelievably modest prices, ridiculously friendly staff (with a team unrivalled for their work ethic/determination), and speedy service with a smile... you will never ever see this place 'quiet' (even when it's closed!). Best thing about Kidderminster bar none. Thanks for all you do ladies x

Breakfast was unbelievable waited 20 minutes while ir was getting cooked my god it was worth the wait best Breakfast I've had I'm a long while and it wasn't expensive too

As good as any breakfast I have ever enjoyed including cruises. It was superb. The staff are delightful, nothing too much trouble. By the sheer number of customers it was obvious it was very popular. 100 recommended, if we are in the area for sure we will visit again. Added bonus free on street parking right opposite.

I ordered 2 ham salad sandwiches from here today (Sunday 2nd Oct). I went to pick them up and the lady that served me was very polite and friendly. I'd explained that I was in wheelchair and would have to wait by the door and she was fine with that. The sandwich itself was absolutely the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

we haven't been here for over 2 years , but it is exactly the same . good food , good service and still reasonably priced . excellent burger and bacon sandwich

It's fresh, it's hot, it's tasty, and the best thing (apart from being one of the few places that still do fried bread)....the tomato sauce is in bottles and not those annoying little sachets!!

We are new to the area and was recommended here by friends and woah it didn't disappoint. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and I loved the interior decoration it was so quirky. Our only place to go for breakfast in kiddi now!

Fantastic value ... enormous portions with doorstop sandwiches, all served with a smile. No airs and graces here, just good, honest, homemade and filling food !

We, that is the Wagon Repair team from Bewdley assemble here twice a week for breakfast, It really is Good Value for money, and the service is Second to Non.

We had breakfast at work today I had bacon sausage & egg sandwich no room on the bread for everything with nice thick bacon all well cooked will buy again.

Wow! Good food, fantastic staff, and atmosphere. Best cup of tea I can remember drinking and next door to the Severn Valley Railway. Because it is so popular it can be busy especially if the Railway has one of their special events running.

Wow, I can see why so many people rate this place highly. Fantastic breakfast for £5. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

My son, a volunteer on the nearby SVR, took me in here twice in one weekend. No wonder it was busy, particularly on the Saturday. Super value, great traditional breakfast served quickly and cheerfully by the small army of women.

best cafe in the northern hemisphere. very reasonable prices for a plateful of quality grub. great service and great atmosphere. can get a little cramped at certain times.

Every bit as good as the previous reviews if an old fashioned cafe is suitable for you. Plenty for every appetite and is superb value for money.

First visit with friends very good value for money tasty hot food. Will definitely visit again. Slight mix up with our order so our friends food came out when we had almost finished eating but it was very busy.

Cheap, good food and friendly staff, can always ask to swap items off the breakfast for something else.

We had breakfast here several times during a recent off peak holiday & enjoyed every one of 'em. It's a bit tightly packed but a cafe' should never apologise for being busy.

Really lovely greasy spoon diner. Portions are massive for what you pay. Free refills on your drinks and they even gave us free more toast on the house as well.

A lucky find through my trip advisor search! We stopped here on our first morning before a day out and it was so tasty we decided we would return the next morning before returning home!! All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed!! Great value for money and lovely staff!! We will return when we are next in the area! Highly recommend

5 of us arrived at 8.30 on a Sunday morning, very busy, only one free table. The service was good and quick. I had a small breakfast which was plenty for me. Really tasty, anice Sunday morning treat.

Well what can one say but ten out of ten as nice hot breakfast and service fab. Very large breakfast and great value for money as £5.00 with toast and a coffee. Staff very friendly and that's what make a good old British restaurant. Well done all

If you want a really tasty plate full of delicious breakfast, served by friendly, welcoming ladies who will make you feel right at home, then go here - straight away. What a wonderful experience. we have been going to Kidderminster for the SVR railway gala for some years now and have walked past this diner/café so many times without venturing inside , what a huge mistake , I did not think this standard of diner existed anymore , we had 2 of the smaller breakfasts did I say small they were huge and were really very good and included the cup of tea in the price , give it a try you will not be disappointed

I have ordered breakfast from AJ's to work many times but have never set foot in the cafe itself until last week.

I went here because I'd read all the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor, and I have to say I couldn't agree more: lovely cosy cafe, the inside decor is really well done and welcoming, the owners/servers are delightful. The only problem is that its obviously very very popular and I almost couldn't get a table! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Kidderminster.

They make a fuss of everyone and personal choices are always catered for. Nothing is too much trouble. A 'clean' breakfast. If you didn't fancy a full English when you went in, the smell of the bacon and sausage cooking will soon change your mind...

Came here for a quick breakfast before me and my partner had to get the train to Cardiff and it was perfect as usual! Large portions and the staff are so friendly! Always look forward to going here for breakfast!

What lead us here ? other reviews, the fact we couldn't get in the door for two days due to its popularity . On Sunday we did manage to get in, verdict fantastic and value for money -try and beat it .

We both had the £5 breakfast, great deal included toast and Tea. The breakfast was very tasty with black pud, 2 eggs and nice thick bacon.

Bien, este es un cafe cuchara grasienta, pero es el mejor desayuno inglés completo que se puede encontrar en la ciudad. El personal es excelente y rápido. El café es de las mañanas siempre llena, no los más sanos de los alimentos sino como un lujo y ahora de nuevo no se puede perder.

ADj Diner, no te dejes engañar por el exterior, una vez dentro de la en un lugar diferente, el personal es muy amable, muy limpios e higiénicos y, lo más importante, el mejor desayuno, la calidad de la comida es de primera a ninguno y abundante a un precio razonable.

As a man who travels the country everyday and inturn has a breakfast in whatever town I land in ,I can categorically say that this is one of the finest establishments I have ever visited .all good produce ,polite and friendly service and a real home from home. Most importantly hp sauce . So many cafes let themselves down by dishing up a half decent fry up and then letting themselves down with cheap sauce, not these girls they no what's what, second to none on every level

had the large breakfast for £5 . didn't need lunch . absolutely beautiful and free top - ups of tea or coffee . we dont go to kiddy very often , but this is the place to start your day .

I come here with my friends before most gigs or outings we attend... best way to line the stomach! Food is delicious from a standard bacon butty to a decent pie and mash. Service is fast and staff are all so friendly!! Great atmosphere here. We all love Tina and Mary (the bosses) so much

I've been visiting AJs since before they moved to Comberton Place. The breakfast is just the best. Their sandwiches make a great lunchtime eating...... It's just a shame they close and don't do evening meals.

Have bought several 'bacon butties' for people over the years and tasted more than is likely good for me none have compared to the ones from AJ's.Fresh bread, quality bacon and plenty of both make a great combination. We have tried other combinations including the famous 'works' and various variations thereof and none have disappointed. The breakfasts look fabulous and one day we'll set time aside to make it our treat but in the mean time we'll carry on enjoying the bacon sandwiches..

We have eaten here several times, and I can't imagine finding anywhere that does a better breakfast, at better prices. I usually have the 'small' breakfast - 2 rashers of (nice) bacon, 2 sausages, egg, round of fried bread - and because I don't like baked beans or tomatoes (which are the other components) I am given two hash browns. Oh yes - there's a slice of toast as well. All this, plus a mug of lovely coffee, costs (at the time of writing) £4.00...!!! All cooked freshly and served piping hot. Bliss...

Cheap, good sized food, friendly staff - can't really ask for much more. Don't let the outside put you off, very warm decor inside, always busy of a weekend though! Every time I've been in I've had to wait for a table as people tend to hog them, no fault of the staff though. Definitely recommend.

A little off the beaten track but well worth hunting down. We had a fantastic breakfast here, the portions are massive and very reasonably priced. We were taken here by relatives that live near by. Most of the customers were locals a lot of taxi drivers. I think that says it all if its packed out with locals it must be good.

You can't go wrong with an AJ's breakfast. They serve all the usual stuff, at a reasonable price, and the staff are friendly.

After arriving into Kidderminster Railway Station we noticed the sign for this cafe. The food was fantastic and for the price we paid we couldn't believe it. Plenty of choice and the food tasted great. Will eat here again on our next visit to Kidderminster!

I was most impressed by this little gem of a cafe! A very vibrant cosmopolitan feel to what some would call the local cafe! Local cafe isn't even near to what it actually is! As I approached, I was greeted by the happy Al fresco dinners enjoying their lunch on the patio outside the Resturant. This was more like something I expected to see in the south of France or Marbella. I love entered the Resturant only wanting a bacon sandwich. I was greeted by an older sophisticated lady who was front of house. She guided me to my table and offered me the wine list and specials menu. I could see by the glint in her eye there was more on the menus than she had listed if you know what I meanNever the less! This was a fantastic dinning experience and I would highly recommend this gem to anyone!

I enjoyed a really well cooked traditional English breakfast, a small and large option on offer, hot drinks or fruit juice were included in the price and this also included top ups of hot drinks.
