A pesar de no poder navegar debido a la tormenta Daraugh todavía fuimos por nuestra comida. Tuvimos una comunicación brillante, informando que no navegaríamos y dando la opción de cancelar pero decidimos continuar... y gracias a Dios. Una deliciosa comida, cena de alta calidad, buenas porciones y personal muy amable y acogedor. Sin duda volvería y recomendaría encarecidamente ... la próxima vez que esperamos navegar!

Everything that a country pub with rooms should be! Open fire places, super friendly but professional staff and decent bedrooms. Exceptional food offer which thankfully goes well beyond the ubiquitous burger/fish&chips/sticky toffee pudding clichés. Excellent breakfast (with homemade marmalade!) Only issue was that the EV charger wasn’t working but they know that and are trying to fix it. As others have pointed out, bedrooms on the road side of the building are not the quietest so try to book accordingly.

Great little spot we stumbled on walking through the town.Cosy,clean and friendly staff.Great variety of food very reasonably priced.WIll definitely be back to try out one of their meals.

No puedo entender por qué este lugar no está embestido todo el tiempo. Es exactamente lo que buscábamos, simple sin complicaciones, encantador pub del pueblo - excepto, aunque el menú (cena una vez, almuerzo el domingo una vez) era exactamente lo que esperaría de un menú de pub, la calidad era en realidad una clase por encima de eso - no sorprendentemente así, pero notablemente. Gran valor, muy buena calidad. seguir haciendo lo que estás haciendo.

Lovely friendly and cosy pub. Great selection of meals and beer, all fairly priced. Easily my favourite pub in Shipston.

Had an excellent dining experience this evening at Stoneaged in Henley in Arden. Thr quality of the food was fabulous and the service we received from Adam was second to none. We were there for a special celebration and everything was spot on. Thank you Adam, we will definitely be back. Sandra and family x

A fantastic cosy pub and restaurant. Warmly welcomed on arrival with friendly and attentive service throughout. Very relaxed atmosphere, no airs and graces. Beautiful and delicious tasting menu, ranks alongside the many starred restaurants I’ve been to. Standouts were the Honington pheasant and forced rhubarb dessert, but it was all delicious. Would highly recommend

We came to The Bell for an early Valentine’s Meal as my husband was away for the actual day. We had a fantastic meal in lovely surroundings. The staff could not have been more helpful. Food was amazing especially The Eton Mess. Would definitely return. Many thanks to Sam and Gareth.

Absolutamente comida abismal. Nos dieron una mesa en la parte trasera del restaurante frente al coro y la pared. El entrante de salmón era barato y apretado. El cordero no era solo rosa, era francamente crudo y tan duro que no podía cortarse, básicamente indisoluble. El queso de coliflor era sólo un tazón de papilla. Toda mi familia estaba profundamente decepcionada por sus elecciones de comida. El camarero notó los platos y ofreció algunos reemplazos de pavo en su lugar, pero en este momento no los queríamos. Comida abrumadora y barata y bebidas sobrevaloradas. Nunca más - y hasta entonces éramos clientes repetidos también.

A very friendly pub, excellent food, staff very friendly nothing is a problem. Would recommend to anyone in the vicinity.

We were visiting Alcester and popped in to The Bear for lunch. It's a characterful building, the food was very good and reasonably priced and the service was exceptional. They also offer a seniors menu, which seemed good value, although we didn't order from it. Recommend.

Popped in on Sunday, with a group of friend, 7 of us. Had a latte and coffee & walnut cake. Both were delicious; amazing bit of cake, coffee was lush, great sized portion Cafe was full and had a great atmosphere to it. A gem on the highstreet

Decidimos cenar en el toro anoche después de escuchar cosas muy buenas recientemente. Fuimos recibidos por el personal muy amable y nos sentamos muy rápido. pedimos algunas bebidas de una selección bastante extensa. Las bebidas eran excelentes, así que procedimos a pedir la cena. La comida llegó muy rápido y se veía increíble. Mi cerveza rebozada de bacalao estaba caliente fresca y exquisita lo mejor que he comido en años. Mi compañero pidió la hamburguesa definitiva y no se decepcionó en lo más mínimo. Hamburguesa fresca con latigazos de tocino crujientes de barbacoa tirada de cerdo y queso derretido todo envuelto en un bollo pretzel servido con col fresca y patatas fritas crujientes. Es un 10 de cada 10 de nosotros en servicio y comida. Mantén un ojo en El Toro mientras sube y viene y sube a la cima bien hecho!
