Food and service was great. Bizarre experience being in the Spode factory, but totally worth it! Loved the story behind each of the dishes and the oatcake was especially good. Great value also.

Very nice breakfast at a good price very friendly and very clean so you want a great hot breakfast give it a go lots of room and very clean toilets

Not enough places these days provide cakes made on the premises, add to that coffee which is actually hot rather than lukewarm and local, friendly guys serving and - yes - they’re onto a winner!

Visited this little known cafe today, what wonderful service. Food delivered to the table by the chef, complimentary coffee. Twice the chef checked everything is OK with my meal. Outstanding service and simply delicious food.

Returned Gratefully to its reopening after Covid Safe and Clean Environment and all familiar faces Quality as always excellent for a good price.

Special bar with good range of drinks and superb service. a small venue that oozes character. Pub grub can be orderred from nearby Jenny's kitchen

Just had a great Sunday lunch with friends great food and value for money and service from the staff is excellent and very clean

Normally spot on, normally waffles are hot and fresh but tonight it was cold and started to get abit stiff, and forgot can of coke off order

Received a very warm welcome as always and given the professional service we have come to expect from this venue. Great food, lovely atmosphere, warm and cozy and enjoyed a chat at the bar. Good home cook food and never disappoints.

Visited for a record fair, so don't know what it's like as a pub

I stayed here for two nights, it was great. Really nice hosts, lovely comfortable room, friendly locals at the bar that I had a great time with. Brilliant little pub!

Christmas dinner, booked at short notice, could not have wished for a better day . Food was excellent, cheerful staff on what would have been a stressful day, thumbs up to Emma and the team . Happy family from Barlaston.

Came due to a gluten free menu being advertised. No gluten free options were available on arrival this was mid afternoon 2pm on Sundays.

We ordered food today to be delivered at work. One staff had chips and there were approx 15 chips in the box. I ordered a sausage and egg oatcake and it was freezing cold and not made up.
