Not enough places these days provide cakes made on the premises, add to that coffee which is actually hot rather than lukewarm and local, friendly guys serving and - yes - they’re onto a winner!

So many coffee shops going continental and doing warm coffee... so glad ive found this place which do hot coffee. Friendly staff nice atmosphere... what more could u want.

Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Nice food. Just 2 mins walk away from the Potteries and a nice break from the hustle and long waits in the major chains.

We saw a Facebook post from a friend about this newly opened cafe. So let’s give a new business a try. Homemade cakes, freshly prepared sandwiches and toasties. The coffee was excellent. As were the staff / owners who are both local. The cafe is DOG FRIENDLY so that is a bonus. No more standing outside whilst I stare through the window at the missus and kids. Prices are great £11.50 for two coffees a slice of gorgeous gateaux and a toasted baguette with salad. This is a lovely venue. Great food and clearly a hard working couple trying to make a new business work in Hanley town centre. Give them a go. Absolutely fantastic.

Went to masons arms for the first time since I was a teenager over 50 years , for a Sunday dinner av to admit it was Fabulous unbelievable amount of food , service great lovely friendly staff , everyone in the pub very friendly , will definitely go again , next time will only ask for one tray of veg ie broc, cauli, cabbage & green beans, 2 was to much but great value for money if u have a big Appetite , Sweet was amazing , Generally we had a great day talking with other diners & staff .

Hartshill RoadWe visited the Artisan Tap for the first time today to see Mark and Adam from The Bluetones play an acoustic gig. Great intimate venue with good selection of drinks and great staff. Will definitely look out for future events here

209, London RoadNew landlord in charge now. Bass was crystal clear but not not quite spot on. Will go again hopefully the Bass will be good.

BurstonVisited whilst moored on my narrowboat. Very friendly and efficient staff, I had the 8oz burger which was very nice. The Pedigree was well kept and Ziva ( my dog) was given a treat by staff. A 10 minute walk from the canal and well worth it!
