My favourite place to get cookie pies and milkshakes! Sarah is lovely and always extremely helpful! Upstairs there is a relaxing place to either sit with friends or revise!

I popped into the House of Bread Cafe because I had heard about their book shelf and wanted to donate some of my old books. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. It is a pay as you feel establishment. It does a wonderful job of helping out a lot of people in need in the local Stafford area. There is a children's room, piano, many tables, and lovely bookcases in the cafe. It's a delightful place to donate your books to and grab a brew.

terrible. first of all whys there grapes in a salad? why is there MORE grapes than tomatos? the tomatos are vile, couldnt cut through the jacket potato. tuna was discusting was waiting 40 mins and everyone who came in after us got served first they even had there puddings before we got our lunch

These lounges are great because they have a very chilled atmosphere and dogs are allowed BUT the price you pay for food and drinks doesn't reflect the quality, My order today was burger and fries and onion rings as a side, my burger was good but the portion size was ridiculous I had very little fries and Luke warm, everything is done at a very low cost the sauce is in bottles so you can't see what its like till you add it to your plate, my ketchup was like water and tastes of vinegar which spoilt the taste of the meal, and the coke is not your usual brand (you have to pay extra for that in bottles, and even the cheaper alternative tasted awful ( instead it taste like the really cheap bottles you can get into he supermarket for 19p. Onion rings nearly £4 and you got 5 small ones in a sauce bowl Staff were friendly but the meal was very poor ,wouldn't go visit again unless it was raining and needing shelter with my dog and I'll pop in for a coffee 😭.

True Disappointment Been coming here for lunch each time the car goes in for a service Today it was a miserable experience no welcome greeting. Empty beer bottles on the door step. Ignored by the bar person when told about them. Overheard other customers comment about the miserable bar person. Left for somewhere else to eat.

Excellent food, wine & service at The Hollybush which has been under new management since September 2024. Great value for money. Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is that it was very cold inside. I appreciate it’s a very very old pub but it still needs to be warm to relax over what was a great meal.

We knew a eatery was around there and we decided to eat... we had a great meal £20 deal. Starter or desert with great choices and a main, I had Fish which was crispy battered, chips with mushy peas and chocolate brownie desert while my partner had bbq chicken with bacon and a cheese sauce rounded off with cheesecake and icecream all served with a drink of choice. We both thourally enjoyed it... The service was given with an enthusiastic smile at all the time, we took a pet dog which was given water and tub of cream which wasn't expected so overall we had a wonderful visit. Absolutely recommended and dog friendly, top Mark's all round

Lovely Sunday lunch at the bird in hand today. The carvery was delicious. Excellent staff who were so accommodating and friendly. They made my nans 90th so special as she loves a carvery. Highly recommend ☺️

Nice old picture house building n all that but massive word of warning about the toilets. The last thing you need after a night on the sauce is to be sat on the toilet, scared to move incase the auto flush kicks in and your testicles are hit with a jet of freezing cold water. Happened repeatedly through my 10 minute ordeal. Avoid

its a greggs, so what can you say really. always busy but service is quick. food is good, prices are fair. only danger is burning yourself on a fresh batch of steak bakes.
