We turned up on a Sunday without booking. This wasn’t a problem and were sat at a table straight away. We both ordered a beef dinner with a side of cauliflower cheese. The beef was cooked to perfection and there was a generous amount of roasties and vegetables. We thought the price was very reasonable £51 for 2 drinks and a dinner each and one side. Will most definitely be returning and will recommend to others too.

Absolutely beautiful place. Stunning, immaculately kept golf course. Went for lunch and the restaurant overlooks the course. I'm not a golfer but would definitely be a member here if I was. Had a fantastic lunch and was served by Helen who was fantastic. She was super happy and nothing was too much trouble. Spoke very highly of her boss/owner too which I thought was great. Would definitely recommend.

Rarely disappointed with Warners Holme Lacey .Apart from the occasional glitches as on this occasion the blue lift broke down and repairs were still ongoing when we left 48 hrs later. Considerable inconvenience to those disabled wheelchair users, but didnt affect us too much. I would however make a comment about the market kitchen restaurants food presentation. Most of the evening meals were tasty and served hot, unfortunately something not to be said of the fried breakfasts. Eggs and bacon etc cooked earlier and standing albeit on hot plates were far from an acceptable temperature by the the time one has sat down to eat it. Perhaps ordering something from the kitchen and fresh cooked is the answer in future visits. All said and done, not enough criticism to stop us visiting Holme Lacey which has long been one of our favourite venues.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. Although food was plentiful and staff were efficient, the food quality was poor. I had the lamb which had a strange texture, almost like pre sliced/processed appearance and taste. Vegetables were bland and roast potatoes tasty but not crisp. We paid an extra £5.00 for a small amount of undercooked. cauliflower in cheese sauce. If I'm paying £20.00 for a Sunday lunch I would expect better.

Toilet facilities cleanliness not up to standard. No toilet paper , toilet seats grimy. Looks like only cleaned once day .
