I popped in earlier today/ Saturday afternoon I haven't been in since 2006 as I live in Canada now,but I'm home for Christmas and wanted a lamb joint,as normal the lads were extremely helpful and friendly, best butchers in town with great selection. Plus they do gluten free sausage meat.

Lovely butchers with a good selection of food to go. Does get busy at times but with the wait. Nice sandwiches and pastry products. The Cafe they have over the road is good too. Worth a visit.

Absolutely disgusted with the service I received today- I went in around 2pm and asked for 2 pork rolls( one plain & one with stuffing ) took the rolls back to the car , and seen they’d put apple sauce in it’s fine no worries so I took it back and explained to the young girl that I asked for no apple sauce and about 5 minutes later another man come out didn’t even acknowledge me and just chucked the roll back on the counter - I checked again if I was the right roll , but AGAIN it was wrong it didn’t know what was so hard to understand so I took it back and the man so what’s the problem is such attitude and I explained again and he then said well then must of been some miscommunication between staff - so he made a fresh roll for me and it was just full of fatty bits of pork it was just disgusting & inedible , I completely understand mistakes happen but the whole problem was the way it was dealt with and the attitude from some of the staff , you’d of thought for the price you pay you should get what you asked for !! We will not be returning

Has the opportunity to be a great cafe but let down. Bacon roll too expensive, bacon has a lot of fat, Heinz ketchup bottle has been topped up with cheap ketchup.

the worst sausage baguette in town by far. 2 sausages barely cooked in a baguette is such bad value for money. really disappointed.

Couldn't get better customer service james is a realy nice guy goes out his way to help others if he can always lovely food and the new milkshakes are a must 😀👌

Visited here with a friend at 9am while waiting for a car MOT. We purchased two large breakfasts and one tea and one small orange juice which came to £20. On appearing shocked it was pointed out the drinks were included. It was a reasonable size breakfast and nicely presented. However not worth £10 a head! However, all COVID19 rules were followed and this place was spotless including the toilets so I guess I just purchase a small breakfast next time?

Went there today, tried to give other customers space due Corona virus, other customers pushing past and ignored by staff. Gave up and came away, shame as the produce looked good.

Saw this as I was driving through. Stopped for a quick bacon sandwich and drink. Real good service, great food and well priced. Will most certainly call in again. Well worth the stop off.

Very nice. Breakfast was oily, but nice all the same. Baguettes are a bit overpriced but nice too. Good service too...

Popped in for a quick lunch after visiting Heggies butcher across the road. The Heggies deli is quite large and had seats if you want to eat in or take out. Between 2 of us we had 1 Boston beef baguette and 2 leek, bacon, sausage and tomatoe salads which were very tasty and the baguette was filled to the brim. For a baguette, 2 salads and a water we paid £8 - which was definitely worth every penny. Definitely recommend a visit - the cakes look very generous so we'll be back to try those next time.

I popped into 10th January 2020, asked for a roll to be made up, cheese and tomato , disgusted with the price £4.50, absolute thieves, one bitten twice shy, never again x

Having visited Heggies butchers loads of times (the pies are insane) it felt only right to pop into the cafe/deli for lunch. The 2 of us shared our baguettes, 1 roasted Boston beef and cheese and 1 ham and cheese, so we could try a bit of both. They were both toasted and served with hand cut crisps. Both were so tasty but the beef was a clear winner! £4.00 each isn't the cheapest but they are packed with fillings. Recommended and will be back for more.

Popped in for a quick business lunch, various selection of hot and cold food. Very friendly and helpful staff, could not fault the food, it was incredible. Will definitely be coming back.

We always lunch late but Heggies always has something left. Amazing value salad selection, chicken and mushroom pie gorgeous, and lasagne and salad so huge it defeated me. Superb value and lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Small menu done really well.

Have been here on a few occasions now and have not been disappointed with anything. I have been for breakfast with my husband and enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast, hot and tasty. I have also been a couple of times for lunch. They serve locally sourced food, a few cooked meals and an extensive choice of sandwiches, rolls etc. My favourite is the bacon brie and cranberry. There are many cakes and biscuits to choose from. Lovely clean surroundings, friendly staff and disabled access and facilities too.

Popped in for a sneaky breakfast with my wife.We were met by a very helpful and friendly waitress. We wanted some changes to the standard menu, they we very happy to help.The food was simply outstanding, fresh, great quality and loads of it.No cheap produce... all top class food.A free refill on tea... !!Daza rating 9/10The only thing that could be better, the tables were a little small.

This cafe is in a good location and should have the monopoly on passing trade. The butchers over the road (same name) has a take away and the food served there is far more appealing. Poor selection and the boy serving is more interested in watching passers by. The ladies are very friendly though.

Was recommended by guy who is weather treating my motorbike, told us local butcher has cafe and does breakfast. Well as others have commented the food and service is awesome and some of the best sausages and black pudding I’ve ever had. Would make a point of stopping off here on my next ride in Hereford area

We popped in late Thursday afternoon to the wonderful new coffee shop, we have the most excellent loose leaf tea and a sumptuous home made Victoria Sponge. The service was friendly and the decor was great.

One word... amazing!... I love the concept and the hot food was proper grub!... Serve all sorts of roasts in soft rolls and breakfast baguettes. It’s like Greggs but 10 times better

I buy all my meat at heggies, the quality is second to none and yes you pay a bit more but that's fine as you know that what you get will be a delight to eat. Their sausages also are absolutely gorgeous, and a high proportion of the meat they sell is free-range and fairly locally sourced. I think that's worth the extra few pence. Well done Heggies.

Not the cheapest butchers in the world but the quality of the meat is excellent. (I bought sirloin steaks and beautifully thick Barnsley chops). I will certainly be buying meat from Heggies in future and I’m looking forward to buying a hot brunch soon.

Visited here to buy my Christmas Beef fillet. It tasted excellent. It is convenient to stop & park in the road nearby. I will buy my meat here again. Good choice of healthy looking meat.

Amazing butchers, extremely clean and well presented but their hidden gem is definitely their filled rolls/baguettes. They are amazing!! Easy to pull up outside the shop, pop in and soon be out enjoying the food. Highly recommended.

Después de venir a Heggies regularmente durante más de diez años, ahora es una pena ver la calidad de sandwich desde el empleado que ha estado haciendo por años él mismo. Parece que él ha perdido su pasión. Mientras que el mismo Sr. heggie se enorgullece de darle un bocadillo con mucha carne cargado este veterano parece que una baguette que sabe más que nada como mantequilla. Es una lástima. Usted trabaja en una de las carnicerías de carne donde!! El último almuerzo baguette ya no está aquí ir a co-op, la vuelta de la esquina

A real local must go to. The range of home cooked foods is good and their local pies are great. This is a shop not restaurant, but well work calling in for your lunch.

We always make a point of visiting Heggiez whenever we are in Hereford. Best meat & pies around the county of Herefordshire.

Mi familia ha sido un cliente de Heggies durante más de 50 años y aunque ahora vivo en Sheffield, todavía pero bistec de este excelente carnicero.

the pies seem to have gone up in price in the last few years quite steeply but there is less meat in them than there used to be. Also used to do lovely breakfast rolls, but only do baguettes these days.

I was treated to one of Heggies Steak Pies and a pork roll - well, delicious delicious delicious!! I def be going there to get my pies etc... cannot fault it! The meat just ,elted in the mouth - I could have quite easily eaten the lot!!

This was recommended to me as I was looking for somewhere that did prepare Christmas lunches Heggies certainly didn't disappoint. The Christmas lunch we had, was lovely. It was all plated up and all you had to do was just put it in the microwave and heat it up. Their meat is fantastic too, would definitely recommend Heggies.
