My favorite Chinese take away of all time. Great range of dishes and full fish and chip shop options as well. Great prices, great tasting.

Never Answer the Phone. Best chinese food in Hereford but impossible to get through on the phone to order. Been trying for well over an hour, they're open and once was engaged so I know they are there, all calls ignored or hung up on. Absolutely ridiculous. My only guess is that my number is blacklisted for not paying cash last time.

Salt, salt, and more salt. Food practically inedible. Don’t eat here! Go to Lucky 9 instead, it is by far the best Chinese in Hereford!

Random find (via google). Really friendly staff, the very clean kitchen is on show with everything cooked fresh. The food was really nice and good value for money. Great Chinese and it’s also a fish and chip shop for those with picky children!

Disappointing food,flavourless.Ordered king prawn fried rice and received 5 small shrimps very small portion,also the chop suey had only bean sprouts and champignons this is not the right recipe for it.Will not order again

I ordered by telephone and asked what time I wanted to collect. I asked if 6pm was ok - told yes. I called just after 5. Went to collect at 6. Not ready. Waited 20 mins and could see kitchen staff cooking our order. Food: previously always rated quality of food highly, although menu limited (no scallop, squid or proper Chinese options). Food this time was very disappointing Pancake rolls are huge stuffed with bean sprouts & pork or chicken) Tasty but highly salted so had to drink lots of water after eating. Roast duck in plum sauce - duck was swimming in cloyingly sweet honey type sauce, nothing like the plum sauce I'm used to. Chow mein noodles were fine. Wonder if there's been change of owner?

Food in here is lovely. Friendly and extremely quick service . Plenty to choose from on the menu . Always pop in here when staying on eign Road, Hereford. Best chinese in the area . Big portions too 👍

First meal was a chow mein which was OK , returned this evening and got a curry with chips and couldn't fault it. Absolutely beautiful

Ordered a take away. Haddock, Chips, Curry Sauce, Beef Chow Mein. Cost £18.20. Haddock batter was burnt and full of fat. Chips were discusting. Curry Sauce was like water. An aufull meal!

Been coming here since I was a kid, moved to Australia and every time I’m back I have to get it! Lovely staff and great food.

First time coming here last week. I must say I was impressed to start with and it is a very good Chinese and it might be the best one in Hereford. Taking the order was good on the phone and clear. I was told 15 minutes till it would be ready, but in the end I ended up waiting am additional 15 minutes after been told it would be ready. No major drama but it wasn't exactly busy. The meal was good but the egg fried was a little disappointing and not very flavoursm. Also the chicken in the battered chicken balls was like eating a bag of salt per ball. Shredded beef is one of the better ones I've had in Hereford. So overall pretty good but could be better.

Always a treat to eat from here and lovely staff.

Sorry to say but I got a takeaway from here on the 15th march 2022 and it was a very bad the chips were dry and the pancake rolls have halved in size the curry sauce was like water and all very over priced, such a shame I've been going there for years but never again

Chips were just warm, very disappointing, used to be good but need to up their game, not sure if we'll go back, as this is not the first time.

We've been visiting the Wing Sing for a decade now, and the quality of the food remains exceptional. It's the best Chinese food I've ever had, all cooked fresh unlike many Chinese takeaways. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Chinese food or fish and chips, as it's probably the best chip shop in the area too. Many visits, never disappointed. I wouldn't normally order something like sweet and sour chicken/pork balls, but the ones here are delicious and a must try.

The Wing Sing takeaway is one of two in Hereford that I deem to be fantastic. Michael, who runs it is incredibly kind, polite and funny which makes every visit a pleasure. My favourite dishes include the House Special Fried Rice which is unlike other special fried rice's that I've had across the UK. It comes topped with large crispy char sui pork and chicken. 100% recommend.

We have been regular customers of the Tam Family for many years and we know the Wing Sing can always be relied on to be great quality and excellent value. Always a really good takeaway meal, Fish and Chips or Chinese.

Came here Saturday early evening, had to wait outside as there were around 6 people already waiting for food inside (bang goes the 4 people rule which it states on the door). Once able to go inside ordered my food, after waiting over 40min it was clear to see this take away service cant cope with the amount of orders they are supplying. At one point there were around 9 people inside this establishment all were waiting for food they had either ordered over the phone or ordered in the shop itself. There was one young girl serving and my heart went out to her as she made a mistake on one order, the amount she charged was wrong, well the one Chinese lady shouted at her in front of all that was inside, how I held my tongue I will never know, she was vile, rude and very unprofessional, the poor girl walked off crying. To be honest if they weren't so pent up on greed they would see that they could not cope with the amount of orders they were taking, to treat someone in this manor while she was on her own is disgusting and I hope that young girl is okay. Got home and after waiting for a long while for the food I have to say it was very below average, very runny sauces, I asked for a large portion of chips, ive had more in a McDonalds happy meal, very, very poor, my daughter even asked if the sweet and sour sauce was from the washing up bowl! I would not recommend and I would never step food in here again. Awful place!!!!

Had to wait for one hour and fifteen minutes for a takeaway order of only 5 items. Food was overall good hence giving two stars and not one. Food service needs to improve.

Tasty food, not to expensive. Need to crack down on people waiting for there takeaway. Only 4 people inside, on one occasion I visited there were 7. It's quite a small space. Thats why it's a 3

My wife and me both agreed that this was probably the best chinese we have eaten in a very long time. We are not from this area so rely on reviews for restaurants, etc when we travel around the country. Pleased that the reviews were honest for Wing Sing. The duck in hoisin was to die for (nearly), the chow mein and everything else was lovely. Thoroughly recommended

Used for 30+ years - Always enjoy chips, rice sauce special. Miss their overly salted hot dog type sausage they sold back in 1980's. Nice local family run business.

I’ve had food from here many times over the years but never took the time to write a review- absolutely fantastic food, authentic and home cooked, super fresh and tasty. We had spring rolls, ribs, Kung po prawns, chicken with cashew nuts, special fried rice and a chicken curry. Free prawn crackers were a lovely touch. Every mouthful was delicious and plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day!!

This is the first time I have used this Chinese and it will be the last. The quality of the meat used in the chicken fried rice was terrible.

Poor food, poor customer service, I would avoid if I was you Crispy shredded chilli beef had no crisp Special fried rice was fried rice with some warmed up over and over again meat on top. Curry sauce was an oily substance. It used to be good here but it is not anymore.

The Wing Sing is hands down the best chinese in Hereford! Famous for its chinese curry sauce, its beautiful! Great customer service, a young lad usually on front counter always very polite & friendly. The chicken balls are crispy and not doughy unlike other places. Every dish ive had is tasty, hot & yum. 5*

If you want good takeaway food prepared in a well organized and professionally run environment then this family run business is the place to go. I have been using the Wing Sing for a very, very long time, In fact I was a customer at the chip shop when it first opened over sixty years ago, it was fish and chips only in those days and the Chinese takeaway was started later when the Tam Family came to Hereford. In all the years that I have been a customer I have never had any reason to complain about either the food or the service, the whole family work really hard to provide and maintain great quality Fish and Chips and Chinese takeaway. The large number of regular customers are a testament to the popularity of the Wing Sing and everyone knows that if the business is very busy they may have to wait a little while for their order, after all really good food is always worth waiting for. I shall be continuing to be a very regular visitor to the Wing Sing and I hope you enjoy your takeaways as much as I do.

Food is above average and service is fast and efficient. Location is easy to find and Parking is at the T junction.

Is it just me or is their food REALLY salty!? I even asked that they put less salt in their chow mein, but it was still salty. I moved up from the south east of England 6 months ago, where I've tried many different Chinese takeaways, and this is surely the worst Chinese I've had. The oil they use is really heavy and drenches the food. You notice it from your first mouthful. The only redeeming feature of their menu are the spring rolls. Again, they're still salty, but they're monster rolls and almost serve as a meal in themselves. How they got the moniker of Best Chinese Takeaway in Hereford is a mystery to me. Sadly, I'd rather have a Big Mac.

We ordered our food via a telephone call, and was told that we’d be able to collect in an hours time, after being satisfied with that, we arrived an hour later to be greeted with no food and told that the food would be a 20 minute wait! Only to find when we got home (5 minutes drive) the food was cold! We won’t be going back here, the food, service and everything about this was awful!

Collected a takeaway from Wing Sing around 20.45 on sat 13th april. One of the many dishes we ordered was chicken fried rice, i noted the chicken was discoloured and looked horrible ( off ) so decided not to eat it, good job really being as i am 36weeks pregnant! My partner however ate the chicken inside the chicken fried rice. By 3am he was violently vomiting and had bad diarrehao,he was so poorly the next day he couldnt even hold water down and had a very high temperature, this continued for days and he still is not feeling 100%, safe to say i would never ever recommend the wing sing to anyone unless u want food poisoning. Stay away!!

Pro. Food severed on time and hot. Con. The bag had oil in the bottom and on the handle. The batter was over cooked, dark in colour and tasted over cooked. S/S sauce was very thin in looks and taste. The rice looked a little grey in colour. Over all did not look very appetising. Charged £0.50 when payed with VISA I have had food from there be for and it was good but not this time....

I went here because of the reviews. Either the good people of Hereford don't know their food or the reviews are dated: I ordered the meal for two and the sweet and sour pork was the worst I've had, ever: it was obviously minced pork from some mass-producing abomination, with thin sauce. The rest was passable..

Disgusting!! The chicken in curry was raw very pink with sinus. Phoned immediately to tell them they said they would replace next time with free meal. Went in next day with food order and show photos of raw food. After several people handled this food with bare hands to examine it They said "it happens sometimes" and only wanted to refund some of the cost as part of the order had been consumed (chips, rice and some of foo Young) eventually got Given £15 back from an order that cost £20.90 will NEVER go there again. Whilst waiting saw a man cooking and using utensil to taste the food and continued to cook using the sames utensil to stir whatever he was cooking.

The fish and chips here are one off the best in hereford but the the chinese food is always too salty for me ..But it is still all cooked while you wait so its fresh.

Go here most weeks always good & happy staff try it for your self you can even ring an order though saves time but even if you don't it does not take long for them to cook it well worth a visit

Tenía un pollo chow mein y algunas otras cosas esta noche por primera vez en bastante tiempo, y fue la mejor degustación chow mein que he tenido en Hereford. Una pena que era cargado con champiñones, me gusta setas pero había un montón y casi sin pollo, así que fue un poco decepcionante. Además tienes patatas chips donde ya que prefiero mi chino chino con patatas fritas. Buena relación calidad-precio, alimentado 3 por £16. Me encantó, sólo espero que la próxima vez que pueden solicitar como champiñones no lo arruinó para mí, parecía que estaban para reemplazar el pollo

Además de estar entre las mejores tiendas de chip que he visitado, también tiene algunos de la mejor comida china que he probado. A diferencia de la mayoría de los lugares de China, la comida es recién hechas y muy bueno; es sin duda mi favorito en Hereford. Normalmente no suelo pedir algo como pollo o cerdo, las que pelotas hacer aquí son excepcionales.

I have been using my local chippie for over 25 years, mainly for fish and chips. First the good, The fish is very tasty and the curried chips are the best you will get in town. Now the bad part. The portions are really small. The portion size of the chips have been getting smaller and smaller over the years, so much so that if you were to just get a portion of chips it would not be a meal. I just don't get it since the simple spud is literally cheap is chips yet the last few visits has left me disappointed. I have been to most chippys in Hereford over the years and you get the fewest chips here by a mile. I very rarely go there any more and go the Oceans instead which is excellent value for money with decent potion sizes.So if you are on a diet, go here. Personally I don't go the the chip shop if I am considering my waistline.
