Absolutely love this establishment.Definitely worth a visit. Fairly close to the Railway station on the way to Coventry City Centre ( just look for Trigger the horse metal Sculpture) A lovely ambiance in quite a long room but still has a cozy feel to it with sofas and gentle background music.Great in the summer too as it has small patio area at the back with parasols giving it a genuine holiday feeling. Amazing food with a good and varied menu which is well presented and freshly cooked. Katie & Magdalena always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble for them. An extensive choice of bottled beers, spirits and cocktails, reasonably priced.Table service is encouraged which makes it a very relaxed place to be with friends and cannot wait to go back again.Best place in Cov

This was the perfect venue for a party and we had a BBQ and then danced the night away in the excellent function room . The garden room is perfect for welcome drinks and the food was amazing . The team were so helpful in letting me build the party I wanted and the service on the night was excellent . All my guest had such a good time . I would definitely recommend it and its very affordable .

This is a brilliant idea for coventry if your fighting an addiction long overdue for coventry its in hertford st it has a lovely cafe too called charlies place from which all proceeds from coffee shop goes back into the project to help with the addiction side of the project very freindly place will defo be going back

Such a lovely cafe with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere! The food was lovely and very reasonable and staff were super friendly.

Very disapointing to write this review as we have always had great meals in this pub and always enjoyed our visits. On our last two visits the food has been served either undercooked or overcooked. Ordered the Panko Breaded Brie Wedges which were overdone on the outside but inside cold chunks of cheese. Then we ordered the home made chips which are norrmally delicious but these were served soggy with no crisp at all. I don't expect to pay £3.95 for a side of chips to be kept under a heater or microwaved as they clearly were. Shame as they were always served fresh & crisp like a chip should be. Same for the lasagne ordered, the cheese on top was unedible and you could not chew it as it had been heated for so long resulting in a big clunk of solid cheese that you couldn't even cut. Fishcakes were also overcooked and tasted very greasy. Everything seems to be deep fried and oil not fresh. Wraps, skin on fries very good though so maybe best to stick to these. Better food served in many a pubs so will not be visting as often as we once did.

A proper gem! Extremely nice and friendly staff, the prices are great and the food was amazing I'd fully recommend. The I ordered a hotdog and it was massive so great value for money! 100% recommend

The cheesecake and milkcake was so good. The overall experience was really good. Joban is so good at recommending deserts and all. I recommend everyone to go there.

Estaba buscando comida caribeña en línea y esta era una de las opciones más asequibles para mí, así que decidí darle una oportunidad y no me decepcionó! ¡No sientas que he sacrificado la calidad por el precio! Tenía el curry de cordero y era tan sabroso y la carne era tan tierna, además de gran tamaño de porción! No comí, lo recogí, pero el ambiente allí era agradable y el personal era tan cálido y amable y se podía decir que estaban realmente esperando que lo disfrutara y ciertamente lo hice! Sin duda recomiendo!

A big, bustling pub but the friendly staff give it a nice cosy feel. Extensive menu of good, hearty pub food and very reasonably priced. We use it three or four times a year for our 'old blokes talk about the good old days' reunions.

Tasteless veg and tracing paper meat! Very disappointing we visited a Toby carvery at Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were 4 adults and the meat put on our plates is what I give the 4 year age old grand kids. Two very thin slices. Yorkshire puddings were like pancakes I can’t believe the difference in 2 meals. Very disappointed. I’m not a moaner especially when it comes to food but actually gutted with my meal today. £14.49 as well.

It was a very enjoyable experience and many thanks to maddy who served us. A very polite and lovely lady who created a wonderful atmosphere to be around! will definitely come again.
