The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Stayed at the Abel's Harp it's a hotel decorated shabby chic and in the country, it also has Glamping huts we found the staff Julz And Dermo fantastic that's the main reason for the five stars,we also had a beautiful steak dinner on our first night the rooms are not massive but more than adequate and are on suite,we also had fun feeding the alpacas that belong to the hotel,We found Julz does everything from 1st thing in the morning till after 10 at night don't know what she's paid but she's worth every penny as she made our stay extra special,my suggestion to the hotel is to put on a fast food menu at a reasonable price especially for the glampers then many would stay in the hotel vicinity and not drive to nearby villages for food.

I’ve been before and was expecting good. I got what I expected. A thoroughly pleasant experience with a really lovely waitress. Very good service in a really nice country retreat. Impossible to fault.

Minimum queues. Jon Richards jewellery, attractive and unique. Approachable staff. Clean and tidy. In general better prices online.

Awful place - noisy, loud music, too many intrusive large tv screens, minimal vegetarian options, slow service - only one person serving drinks, taking orders, delivering food. Vegetarian burger mostly rice with texture of raw mince; coleslaw typical supermarket stuff.

Awful experience waited 45 mins after paying for 2 bubbles teas to end up having to ask for a refund. Kept bearding rude comments from one member of staff about how customers are not patient. I’ve never had to wait that long for a drink in my entire life. People after me had eaten and left and I was still waiting for my bubble tea

Increíble relación calidad-precio y la comida es siempre encantadora. Gran ambiente comunitario. El personal es muy amable y siempre servicial. Muy limpio y siempre un placer ir aquí.

Don’t bother, this chippy has gone right down hill, when it was the old shop, queuing all to the right in a long line , it was the best chippy in Nuneaton. Recently visited, chips are dry , curry sauce like water and fish very thin, batter was ok but hardly any fish inside, overpriced . Won’t use again . Very disappointed.

I expected the food to be of a fairly poor standard as all theme park food is pretty poor. However, this was worse than expected! The food is clearly pre-cooked and reheated. But not heated properly and was barely lukewarm. One of the worst meals I’ve ever been served. I know they have a captive audience but this is unacceptable.

Un miércoles por la tarde en mi camino de la estación de tren al hotel. Típico outlet de cucharas con mamás jóvenes y sin trabajo que frecuentan ruidosamente el lugar. Encontré un rincón tranquilo y tomé una cerveza. No hay problemas con el precio o la limpieza

Went this morning with my wife, 1st of all the cappuccino was cold from the machine, when our breakfast was served to us, it was also cold. when we sat down in to eat is was so cold, in fact we never took our coats off. I'me hoping someone will get in touch with me,

mala comida tuvimos dos perros calientes y una poderosa comida carnosa. hot dog tenía mostaza inglesa en muy extraño. El otro perrito caliente era un perro con queso de chile, casi ningún chile, claramente ayer, queda restos de queso viejo, así que, en general, la carne era simplemente tibia, las papas estaban secas y duras, la carne de res habría sido mejor como silla de montar a caballo, así que en general, realmente no podría recomendar este lugar en absoluto, ah, y en cuanto al personal que trata de limpiar el vaso con la mano antes de verter la bebida bien, yuk

its a greggs, so what can you say really. always busy but service is quick. food is good, prices are fair. only danger is burning yourself on a fresh batch of steak bakes.

Ten cuidado con lo que te cobran. Nos cobraron 40 peniques extra por el Madri. El gerente fue sarcástico y me ofreció un pastel gratis en lugar de un reembolso. Sólo noté el cobro excesivo cuando regresé por una segunda cerveza. El gerente no se molestó ni siquiera sugirió que iba a cambiar el precio. Fue sarcástico al darme un pastel barato. Claramente no quería molestarse en pasar por el proceso de reembolso. La comida estaba bien para un lugar ocupado de comida rápida. El personal general era amable y servicial.

I have been going to debenhams cafe at least 3 times a week for a couple years,but the service and food has gone down in both quality and quantity,the final straw was the meagre portion of beans on toast,a small scoop of beans that would not cover one slice of toast let alone two. I believe debenhams no longer control the cafe,but surly the must at least try and maintain the quality and service Don't bother going there are better places near by
