A great little place for coffee, light lunch of paninis and cakes. Good outdoor seating and perfect while exploring Corsham high street.

Wonderful restaurant and hotel! The room had tons of charms, while still having updated amenities that made it incredibly comfortable to stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, dinner, and drinks were all top notch. Only potential downside of the hotel is the odd layout and low door frames (due to the age of the building) - watch your head!

5* service. Best fish & chips in Wiltshire. All the negitive Nancy's reviewing are either not genuine or just out to cause trouble.

Absolutely dreadful! Advertised a la carte menu replaced with a 'bar' menu. Took the waiter 15 minutes to bring a menu and ask if we'd like drinks 40 minutes for food to arrive which was not hot. The pork belly my colleague had was wrapped in gooey fat not crackling, the pumpkin sauce was a teaspoon of orange 'something' and the seasonal veg was mashed potato and some peas. The chicken burger was deep fried and tasted of old fryer fat as did the 'tepid' skin in chips. Presentation of the burger was non existent and the two tiny leaves of lettuce were brown. This was fed back to the waiter when he finally returned to our table his response was he'd mention it to the Chef. The after dinner treat of sticky toffee pudding was solid and rubbery, not moist. The tiniest bit of ice cream and a token gesture at the sauce all was tepid. The dining room was cold and drafty. The decor tired and wall paper peeling off the ceiling and walls. Utterly awful experience with nobody interested in the overall shoddiness of the service and food. Really disappointing, especially as this is the closest hotel to work. A real missed opportunity for this Hotel and Restaurant.

Only 3 tables indoors. 2 ladies working who appeared to have fallen out. They were very grumpy and not one of them smiled either when serving us or bringing out tea and pasties to the table. Yea was nice, cheese and onion pasties were distinctly average. Will not be revisiting when next in the area I’m afraid

'Dropped in' for lunch on the way to Lacock Abbey and Whitehall, we hadn't booked so were pleased to get a table as it was very busy. We sat in the 'barn' which was very cosy, a great space. My husband ordered Scampi and chips ( his usual) and I had Brie and bacon chicken breast in a mushroom sauce with vegetables and mash. A very generous portion of scampi , with plenty of tartare sauce and my chicken dish was absolutely delicious with perfectly cooked broccoli and carrots and I was so pleased I ordered mash as the sauce needed 'mopping' up. Very friendly staff and will definitely visit again

If you’re looking for a dining experience that tests your patience, this restaurant is the place to be. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was an afterthought—if it was even a thought at all. Lucinao barely acknowledged our presence, taking his time before leading us to a table. We soon realised that appreciating our presence was not a priority here, looking more annoyed than welcoming, and took our order with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to work against their will. Attempts to engage were met with either complete indifference or eye-rolls. And when we politely pointed out the his attitude, he became rude and arrogant, bordering aggressive. By the time we left, we weren’t just disappointed—we were genuinely amazed at how a restaurant could function with service from this abysmal. Would I return? Only if I wanted to relive the worst customer service experience of my life. Save yourself the frustration and eat somewhere—anywhere—else.

Came here with elderly neighbour for lunch on a Tuesday. No table booking service was available but I was told a Tuesday in December should be fine. It's quite a large restaurant and when we arrived at 12.15pm, only 1 table in the corner was left. It was an OK table. The service and quality of the food was very good. The Quiche was homemade in the kitchen onsite and was exceptional. Some of the other food items served are not up to this quality however. You get served your drinks first, then the food comes very quickly afterwards, so your tea/coffee always goes cold whilst you are eating your food. If eating, probably best to order any hot drinks after you have eaten.
