We stopped in this very beautiful village on our way home from Athens. This bakery looked very charming. Would highly recommend the apple and cider sausage rolls and traditional cornish pasty. Sadly I would not recommend the coffee. Although the staff were not rude, they didn't seem particularly friendly either. Overall recommend eating here

Great food, well priced and filling! Would recommend for a little lunch spot if you’re passing by. Or to grab a takeaway treat/coffee. One lady working was lovely, the other however was quite rude :/ dismissed customers and spoke poorly about them when behind the till. Apart from this, it was a top notch place to visit whilst we were looking around :)

Very small little bakery, and looking at photos I had pretty high expectations. Sadly was a little disapointed on a few aspects. The onion sausage roll was overpowering with the onion flavour so much so I threw it away. The options for sandwhichs/rolls was minimal which on a bank holiday weekend I'd have expected more. Staff were friendly however, but I won't return.

Lacock Bakery is a small sweet and savory shop in a typical street in Lacock and it is really beautiful and characteristic. There are many products on offer, some are delicious like the Cornish pasty, others a little less so, like the spinach and ricotta rolls. Unfortunately, the service is very hasty, not very kind and does not help or encourage you to buy more or ask for advice on the products. A real shame!

This is the second time we have visited on a mid Sunday afternoon and will be the last. Both times we have felt very uncomfortable with one member of staff, who is rather abrasive , and seems more concerned with closing on time than welcoming or serving customers. . The atmosphere is very off putting and as other reviews have stated.. we are not alone in our feelings. Sweeping up in front of customers and announcing shortly after 3.15 that they are closing at 4pm.. does not seem the correct way of treating tourists and customers in general.

We visited on a cold November afternoon. The cafe had no customers sat inside but despite this, we thought we'd give this place a try. From the first moment we entered we felt totally unwelcome. We were not greeted by that lady behind the counter and as I approached the counter I was immediately met with "WHAT CAN I GEY YOU"? No smile, no "HELLO" or "PLEASE" or "THANK YOU". When I asked for two teas to drink in I was immediately met with an abrupt response of "I'LL BRING IT OVER" before I'd even had chance to say I'd also like to order cakes to go with the tea. When I asked whether they had any gluten free options I was simply met with a response of "NO". 🙄 Absolute zero customer service skills.

A dog friendly shop/cafe! I had just finished a 2 hour hike in the area and desperately need something to eat and drink. The sign outside the shop said dogs were welcome and I was so thankful! There are only 3 tables inside, which were all taken, but there was a small bench and dog water bowl just outside the entrance. I ordered a warm Cornish pasty which was delicious! The loaves looked amazing, but I didn't buy any this time. There's also a range of ice creams to buy... Great for summer time! There is a variety of sweets, drinks and deli items to purchase, and chilled drinks are in the fridge to the right when you walk in. Great prices! Staff were welcoming and friendly. Lady was not happy serving us talking about closing soon, asked what time is closing she said 4pm? This was 3pm. We only wanted coffee and cake. She said we could stay but everything seemed to be too much trouble like sugar in the coffees and even asking if we could have a spoon to stir was awkward. I brought these two people to Lacock for a treat and it was awful. She then went on to treat another later couple the same way. In this time when businesses are failing and people are losing their jobs you would think she would be grateful for customers especially mid week.

We had planned to eat in but weren't asked whether we were doing so or taking away and as such our drinks and cakes were put in takeaway packaging... Hi All, First of all we were very excited to be here as per the review read before our visit. But it was total disappointment. We were horrified to find apple cakes with best before date to be 27 December 2021. I mean seriously who sells more than a month old food?? The lady cautiously put that on sale from 3.99 to 3 GBP. We purchased few items like choc cake, lemon drizzle cake and garlic parsley mini sticks but only after rechecking over the best before date and also reconfirming with the lady on its freshness. But definitely not impressive first visit. Just one suggestion..do check for the food freshness and also package cakes for their validity before purchase.

It feels like this bakery has missed a trick. Located in a prime position within Lacock, it has the benefit of a mature tourist trade. In my eyes it should and could be making alot of money. It could be a fantastic little bakery selling artisan produce and coffee However the reality is this bakery feels like it is selling cheap produce at significant cost. Coffee comes from one of those fast serve one button machines that tastes awful. The selection of pastries, cakes and other producs ( with the exception of the hundreds of jars of condiments lining the wall) are in short supply, Everytime I have gone in there the shelves have been pretty bare. The ice cream is not worth it, too expensive, lacking flavour and you can find better for cheaper just up the road near the abbey. Lastly the few times we have visited there only seems to be one staff member on. It's not enough, you need at least two. Certainly missed a trick with this place.

Fantastic food and service - great upstairs with the rugby commentary, but was asked to go downstairs as they only had 3 tables occupied. Live music was great with silent rugby, given Ireland lost anyway 😆

Nice enough room but no one turned up for breakfast. Waited for an hour in empty pub, gave up and left.
