Just had a delivery of smeatons smokehouse half rack of ribs and a big apple burger with extra cheddar and bacon !! Absolutely amazing !! The meat of the ribs just fell off the bone 🤤🤤

Stayed here for one night lovely little pub rooms very nice and cosy unfortunately couldn’t watch tv as there wasn’t a remote and couldn’t use the shower as the button was missing of it which definitely would of been noticed on cleaning … the carpet in stairs were quite dirty and the people I didn’t find very welcoming sadly

Possibly the best pub food in Plymouth. Every visit is exceptional wonderful venue,staff & food. The pie’s are amazing.

Lovely friendly staff in beautiful surroundings. We got lost and a lovely lady drove us round the marquee! Signage needs sorting. Would prefer to eat in the barn rather than a tent however lovely food and Gemma our waitress was efficient and attentive. Super food I tried the nut roast and loved it

Great Sunday Roast in a lovely pub with good service. Popped in for a pint last week which led to a reservation for lunch today, everything was excellent, highly recommended. Roast was super tasty. Had the Rum Baba for dessert which had a kick but lovely nonetheless.

On recommendation, we had Sunday lunch at The Ship Inn. We were not disappointed. Lovely old pub, beautifully presented. The food was good, service good and a great place to catch up with old friends. We will visit again.

Lovely traditional pub friendly staff. We went on a Friday when it was fish or Pizza night. We had pizza and a fish burger all really good quality for the price we paid. Meal for 3 with drinks £70 I feel is good value would go back if in area.

This used to be a really nice place and really good breakfast Today I know they was busy but we waited over an hour for a cold undercooked and burnt breakfast We paid in full as we felt sorry for her but will never return

Nice big pub by the side of the A38. Tribute, Doom and a very good pint of Jail Ale. The food is good at a reasonable price. Plenty of room with different areas. Owner is usually sitting at the bar and friendly. Cheers!

Booked a table having downloaded the Christmas Menu which looked lovely . We spoke on the phone twice to confirm the booking and not once was it mentioned that we had to pre- book the Christmas meal . We turned up for meal this evening and were highly disappointed only to be told in a very off hand manner that we could not have the festive menu as we had not pre booked it ! ! So we ended up having to choose from the standard - very ordinary - non festive menu ! ! We double checked the website when we got home and it only says you have to pre book a function meal with 8 or more people - no mention whatsoever about pre booking your Christmas meal .Such a shame as we were really looking forward to this evening to start off our festivities . We came away very disappointed with our evening and shall not be returning anytime soon !

I've been going to this place for a few years and the coffee shop used to be lovely after a browse in the second hand clothes shop. Unfortunately the coffee shop has now closed but the second hand shop remains open. I am having a spring clean a nd found two pairs of shoes and two dresses from Monsoon I have never worn and were quite expensive so thought I would try and sell them there. I was made to wait whilst the very snooty up her own backside woman finished writing. When she deigned to look up she took one look at me, hardly looked at my shoes and dresses and said 'oh no definitely not'. I had just come back from a dog walk so she probably thought I wasn't posh enough to shop at her second hand clothes shop. I will never go there again and neither will my friends who used to use it regularly. That woman needs to learn some manners I was absolutely appalled.
