Another brilliant shopping experience with Suzette. She helped me find an outfit for a wedding, the perfect top to go with a sequin skirt and a lovely summer dress for every day. Wish I had a daughter to send to the prom as I would definitely buy a dress from there for her.

Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities here. The public toilets are locked at this time of year and the car park toilets were flooded and unusable. We went in to order as the selection seemed OK but did not stay as we had to go to the only open pub to use their toilets and stayed in there! Please sort your toilet situation out Polruan.

we had a superb breakfast on sunday 24-7-22 at diner 31 it was cooked to perfection and served by the lovely dotty we recommend the diner 31 as a great place to eat all at bodmin airfield couldn't have been kinder to us

The best pub roast we’ve had in years, The 12 hour cooked beef was delicious as were all the trimmings. We will definately be back.

Great food, very fresh, we all enjoyed it. However, I have never felt so unwelcome. We were sat quickly but it took ages for someone to come and take our order, they were too interested in chatting. When someone did come over she wasn’t very friendly (slightly older than the rest, dark hair in a bun). Someone brought a coffee over very quickly and the food was brought not too long after. I asked where to pay when we had finished and the girl said on exit, the girl was seating someone so I waited. When she came back from seating them, the server we had then butted in and ignored me standing waiting to pay. I said can I pay and she sighed and again wasn’t friendly and I would go so far as to say very unprofessional. Service really let the food team down and scoring as an overall experience I can’t score any higher. A very uncomfortable experience.

We have stayed and eaten here 2 nights. It is a lively inn; nicely refurbished, warm and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food and beer are good.

Graham & Simon are fantastic hosts, a warm welcome when we were visiting. Dog friendly too. We dinned here several evenings whilst staying in Lostwithiel. A great choice on the menu of homemade food.arriving hot and very tasty. Highly recommend visiting here.

Sadly, I think this pub is going through a transitional time-hopefully for the better! The whole feel of the pub was tired and shabby. Only another couple of customers appeared to pass through whilst we were there and although the pleasant young barmaid was very efficient and friendly, it appeared that there was no upper leadership. I can’t comment on food as there wasn’t any available. The pub around the corner is vastly superior and I really hope that this place gets its act together as the village is very pretty and the trip back to Fowey across the water is very nice.

Stopped in the stores for a flat white and brownie and both very nice. Very helpful server who also gave us directions to Tivoli Fountain and gardens. Beautiful, peaceful waterside village with picnic table and FREE parking. That's a first for Cornwall.

Visited with some friends for one of the Earth Bound Pop Up evenings. Really buzzy atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly staff would thoroughly recommend

Flaky cod and crispy batter. Enjoyed by river with bottle of wine from next door - best summer day every year for 20 years!
