Really impressed with this restaurant and the service we received yesterday evening! Firstly, the decor is stunning, beautifully styled and just a perfect amount of restaurant / bar combination, the seats were very comfortable and the menu choice was spot on too! I would also like to mention the staff, we had a lovely young lady who took our order but also wanted to thank Lindsey (I'm sure that was your name), who was brilliant with my dad (broken toe), very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We shall certainly be back - highly recommend to all! Good luck with your launch in March! Kate

I ordered the all-day breakfast. The only thing I requested was that the egg was well done. It came out barely cooked. It was taken away, and 10 mins later came back (the same food). The egg had been cooked completely, but oddly, the yoke was now not even touching the white of the egg. Sadly now, the plateful of food was now luke warm. I sent it back. Another 10 minutes, everything came back hot (again, the same plate of food), except the baked beans were now stone cold. As the baked beans are served in a small tin cup, I suspect the egg had first time been cooked through in a microwave (hence the strange look of it) and second time everything heated up in a microwave, all except the beans. It was barely edible. I was with family and not in a position to complain again. But sadly, it was only a 1* meal.

Went for lunch here on a sunny Friday and the first thing to say was the incredible service by Jasmin. Asked my kids’ names and was wonderful with them. She was so friendly and attentive - couldn’t do enough for us. I had the tuna poke bowl, which was so fresh, vibrant and delicious. Ordered my boys pizzas and for £8 they were really good value. Generous size and lots of topping. My mum had fish and chips, gluten free, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Best fish she’s had in a long time. The setting is stunning, overlooking the beautiful bandstand and water. Hard to beat in summer. Felt like o was abroad!

Went in here three days on the trot so I think that tells you something! We went in here the first day arriving in Christchurch because we were starving after our journey and desperate for something to eat! We found this place so popped in. We saw they did egg and chips didn’t get any further down the menu that was it ordered waited and delicious! So we were looking for somewhere for breakfast next morning looked at their menu and they had an offer on breakfast at half price if you purchased a drink so thought give it a go and yes great. Had family going down the next day so again took them in for breakfast. We got the staff confused with the order to be honest I think they had trouble understanding our Brummie accent! LOL but all sorted again lovely food friendly staff. If I had to find one slight niggle I would say perhaps have more than one person preparing the drinks as you have quite a wait just to get your drinks so be prepared for that. But other than that it is definitely worth a visit as I said we went ready day during our stay in Christchurch we would definitely go back again when in Christchurch well worth a visit.

First time visit with family. Loved Mudeford quay itself. Beautiful place. Popped into cafe, initially just for couple of hot drinks but grandson decided he'd try a breakfast. So the drinks were fine but 25 minutes later and still waiting for breakfast to appear. Strange, especially as people who had been behind us in the queue seemed to have already been served theirs. Although I did notice another customer who had been directly in front of us still waiting on his too! Eventually he got his. So brought it to the attention of one of the girls who said she'd sort it out. Few seconds afterwards a waitress came wandering about the cafe with a single breakfast. We had given table number and name but however we able to claim said breakfast. My grandson got on with it because he was hungry and so I didn't realise that most of it was actually cold..hash brown was the only thing vaguely warm. We didn't have time or the inclination to wait for another breakfast. Had it have been for me it would have gone back! I accept mistakes happen but they must have known that it had been sat there in the kitchen and just didn't seem that bothered. Just not good enough..very disappointing.
