Excellent B&B.; Lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts. Rooms full of character and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

At this intimately sized restaurant we choose the 6 course menu with a wine flight to accompany. The dishes were modern in presentation, seasonal, and executed with culinary precision. The restaurant had implemented some innovative digital aspects to its service so you could read more about the components of the dishes as you went through the menu. This complimented well with its friendly and professional front of house service. We really enjoyed our evening dining experience.

Excellent place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent food, tasty drinks. We had a peanut butter and choc shake - excellent. Both burgers were juicy, flavoursome and delish. The bacon and cheese loaded fries had amazing cheese sauce on that was addictive. Really enjoyed the food here and will be coming back.

We had a very,good experience at this restaurant with friends on our second night in Cheltenham.The Soho bar were very welcoming and offered a good menu and drinks choice.The staff were very professional and looked after us throughout our stay.It was very much pub food but very tasty .

the food itself is lovely , when it actually arrives. on two occasions now they have missed items from my order. how can you forget to add the chips to fish and chips. when there's so much competition in cheltenham i would of thought Charles would step up, considering how long they've been in the area. safe to say i won't be ordering from them again.

In need of a cold pint and some spicy food and The Railway Cheltenham didn't disappoint! As an Aussie with a terrible exchange rate right now, we were looking for something on the more reasonable side. After scoring a beef massaman and a pork red curry with rice for £12 a dish, we were super surprised to find out how tasty the food was! We also ordered a couple of happy hour sides. Both the pork skewers and fried okra chips were off the charts delicious. Plus, as fussy craft beer drinkers, they had a huge range of beverages to suit all tastes, even for those who prefer non craft brews or a wine. Highly recommend.

Been here often for over a decade. I was just charged £7.55 for a pint of Beavertown Neck Oil. I will never buy a drink from here again.

One of the best pubs in Cheltenham. A proper old pub. Very friendly staff and very clean please don't ever change it 👌👍🍺🍺

Amazing location! Built in 1588, and kept like a fairytale, you can feel the walls talking old stories near the fire while smoking a pipe. We loved the location and the barmaid!

More of a bar than a cafe. Poor choice of “snack” type dishes! Pretty much none existent. Very nice outside garden / courtyard area. Coffee is decent and competitively priced.

Popped in for a coffee and a pastry on Sunday, about 12. Very few pastries available, chose an almond croissant. It arrived hot from a microwave I think, as it was chewy and overcooked. The toilets were downstairs. The way down was really dirty and uncared for, as was the floor in the toilet area. Such a disappointing experience.
