Great place for a Sunday lunch! Service from Charlie was great!

You have the best fish and chips around. The old mushy pea recipe was better though. I like that you have more beer choices and usually have a guest beer. I get tired of the same IPAs, Pilsners, etc. It's also nice to have an alternative to Guiness for a dark beer too. We'd come more often if you started your Tuesday burger special again.

Have been here a couple of times now when visiting friends. The food was delicious, chicken schnitzel the best I’ve had outside of Germany. Dirty fries amazing, beef brisket melting in mouth. Also tried buffalo cauliflower… delicious. Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Staff member Leo very knowledgeable on drinks & made my dining experience with family and friends really relaxing and enjoyable.

Best pub in cheltenham! Great food great team great beer! Our go to place for any celebration with the team! Really good for sport too if that’s your thing but their live bands on the weekend sets this place apart from the rest!

We go to Harry Cooks because my husband likes their Landlord beer! But uts also a nice regular pub too. Haven't eaten there but the food does look good and seems good value.

Barman Charlie just introduced me to the pleasure of Sxollie cider. Never had it before. Top man!

Charlie on the bar is amazing, so fast and precise. An incredibly talented barman, he makes pouring drinks look as easy as breathing is to most. A true virtuoso of his craft. He's incredibly cool, handsome and daringly witty. Men want to be him and.... well women want to be him too, because of equality and stuff. All in all, a great experience.

We always have a great time at Harry Cooks, excellent atmosphere and music. The taps change regularly, but Charlie behind the bar always has a great recommendation and excellent knowledge. Highly recommend.

Good atmosphere, love the new menu and a big thanks to one of the staff members (Charlie) who was attentive and friendly!

Had a really nice meal here and some drinks with friends. The menu has lots of options and really well priced. A staff member Charlie suggested halloumi fries and cauliflower wings as I am a veggie and was a great host to us.

Had a whole afternoon spent watching the six nations at the weekend, great atmosphere, par for the course with prices. The barman Ben served us all day, who couldn’t have been any better.

Had a really great time watching the rugby here at the weekend great atmosphere and even better pints! The live music after was amazing and definitely the place to be on a Saturday night in Cheltenham.

Is this Cheltenham‘s most expensive pub?? I think it could be. How can you charge £6.15 for a basic 4% lager, that is extortion. Don’t expect any change from £30 for a typical round of 4 drinks in this place.

A really welcoming and warm retreat from the freezing cold weather. Great for a mid week wine. My wine was perfect and the prices aren't silly like so many bars now.

Very busy, quite loud, absolutely worth it! Food was great - not what I expected for British fare

Chicken tenders are smaller than before and I was not asked what sauces, I wanted.

I'm warming to this pub. Average on my first visit but now its a regular pit stop. I ate there for the first time in November. It was very good value (burger, fries, and a glass of wine for £12). Definitely worth a visit.

Great beer and nice food delivered quickly. We had the boss burger and one of the lovely section of craft beers. The atmosphere was great and the staff friendly.

Great place to spend time. The only thing I wouldn’t like is a member of staff who too frequently checks on you to see if you have finished your drink or food. It’s a bit annoying when you’re out to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Not busy, staff inattentive, when bar tender finally came over said we’d love to sign a legal document saying my daughter was Gluten Free - she’s not Celiac, it’s just a choice. When I questioned & complained, he said he didn’t like my attitude and wouldn’t serve us! So we ate next door at the lovely Ivy. Don’t bother with this place!

Service is SLOW but food is good and staff is friendly. Location is excellent too. Don't order the nachos, but do try the wings. Recommended.

I came here with my partner for a couple of drinks, however, ended up staying and having some lovely food recommended by Robin. I've been recommended to visit Harry Cook many times & it did not disappoint! The service Robin provided was top tier. Friendly, Efficient, Quick, Whitty, welcoming - perfect. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Service was quick, we stayed much longer than we anticipated and have already planned our next visit next weekend! A bit pricey but does good food. Has a good selection of drinks and snacks. Gets busy at times and takes a little while to get served. It's clean and tidy and the staff are friendly.

Great service on express lunch, good food and price at £11

This is hard for me to write this review as for the service it was brilliant. The downside is I will never go in on a weekend if they have the same rude and foul mouth doorstaff again. I did manage too get their names unfortunately not their company. Marie and Lewis maybe learn customer service. You are the first people the customers see. Your attitudes was unacceptable. Don't do the job if you are going to judge and discriminate. I will definitely be returning in the future but will only be in the week days which is a shame. Too all the hard working bar staff keep up the great work. You really do make your customers feel welcome even dancing.

Excellent food- large portions. Served really quickly considering it was a Saturday. Food was hot and considering there wasn’t a separate child’s menu, our little boy was delighted with the chicken tenders and corn😍 Our server Lewis was fab and friendly. Great place to eat and chill out with friends

Busy traditional, well located in the Montpellier quarter of Cheltenham. Decent Butcombe Original on tap. Worth a visit.

Nice place to sit for drinks and because there was football on it was really busy. Food wasn’t great. We ordered a whole southern fried chicken to share and it basically all southern fried batter- sent most back.

Save your money go to all bar one. The door staff are really friendly and helpful there. It was a complete contrast at harry cooks, door staff looking like they were going to rip someones head off also heard them speaking disrespectfully to a young lady who they thought was alone. Shocking really, I won’t be recommending.

Friendly and helpful staff. Our dog was welcomed. Although we didn’t have food, it looked amazing and drinks were good too. Would definitely recommend a visit. Thanks Beth and the rest of the team 😃
