The best restaurants serving British food in Lansdown Cheltenham South West

Genuinely, I've ate at many pub grub places, but this place is exceptional..the glasses are clinically clean ,the food is excellent, (gammon and the scampi we had), the wait was ok too, for a busy time...the service is swift and by efficient and clean staff, who actually realise they are carrying people's dinner, not like most places I've been...what I am heavily disappointed about is the fact I live in Tipton west Midlands...but if I'm within 20miles I'll eat here...

Went to get fish and chips at this award winning fish and chip. When we were finally acknowledged, we were told the good news is that they are open but the bad news is that they have no batter. Smelt quite bad too.

Just had lunch, lovely service & lovely food! Huge garden for children and plenty of seating x

Maybe you should communicate children are not welcome after 8pm Completely ruined a night out during Easter half term idiots

Set lunch. Really good standard of food. £18.95 for 2 courses, so cheaper than you would pay in a chain pub! Combined with decent service and made for a really pleasant surprise.

Lovely menu and great food and wine. This was my third visit, I try and go each time I’m in Cheltenham. Disappointingly the service was really slow this time. It wouldn’t put me off going back though

Efficient service and good value

Didn't hold up much hope, and must say it was as bad as I'd thought. Only good thing was that I got served super quickly
