Thirteen Degrees in Cheltenham

Didn't hold up much hope, and must say it was as bad as I'd thought. Only good thing was that I got served super quickly

"¡Lleguen temprano", dijeron! ¡Disfruta del "acceso prioritario" que dijeron! ¿Prioridad sobre quién exactamente? El personal aburrido? Prácticamente no había nadie allí cuando llegamos, ¡y habíamos dejado un bar ocupado en la ciudad por una pista de baile vacía y cansada, sin atmósfera!

Fuimos aquí como parte de nuestro fin de semana de gallina. Pagamos un dinero por un área que terminó siendo una habitación muy pequeña al lado de la entrada principal, lejos de toda la atmósfera y los bares principales. El vodka que vino en el paquete era el vodka ruso estándar barato. Nos habían cotizado el mismo precio en otro lugar por más bebidas premium. También se nos recomendó llegar antes de la medianoche, este fue el peor consejo de todos. Habíamos dejado un bar muy animado y llegamos a 13 grados para encontrar que el lugar tenía una atmósfera absolutamente nula. Lamentablemente, terminamos llamándolo una noche antes de la 1 de la madrugada, lo cual es diferente a mis amigos y yo, y esto fue simplemente porque la atmósfera no se recuperó en absoluto. Destruido realmente porque es difícil cuando no conoces a una ciudad para tomar la decisión correcta en el lugar al que ir, especialmente por una despedida de gallina que se supone que es una noche realmente especial. Yo no lo recomendaría.

Probablemente el peor lugar para visitar por una noche fuera. Personal grosero, servicio lento por lo que parecen ser personas que acaban de comenzar la universidad y no tienen ni idea de cómo servir una bebida. El propietario / gerente parece ser el hombre más arrogante que cree que puede tratar a las personas como quiera. SIEMPRE obtenga un recibo ya que el personal del bar parece agregar dinero al total. Los inodoros son probablemente los peores inodoros de Cheltenham, eso es si realmente puedes llegar a ellos con la forma en que tus pies se pegan al piso. Bebidas completamente caras: no es de extrañar que siempre estén vacías y que ya nadie quiera ir allí. Had some great nights in here! Real nice crowd every time and a sufficient number of talented bar staff, making for great drinks with no long queues!

Needs to be re-named 180 degrees, which is what you need to do before paying your £5 entry

1. How to sober up on a night out.. 2. Not sure where Trevor and Brenda’s furniture has got to, but their front room doubles as some kind of ‘dancefloor’.. 3. Cock Fest.. 4. The padded bar surround is incredibly useful for repeatedly banging your head against due to the immensely slow service.. 5. They would make more money charging guests for leaving as opposed to arriving.. 6. ‘Fifteen years of exceeding expectations’ - my expectations were slashed within fifteen seconds. 7. Cheers.

Fuimos como parte de una despedida de soltera, pagando mucho dinero por adelantado para asegurar un área privada. A su llegada, el club estaba vacío, no había atmósfera y el "área" que habíamos reseverado era pequeño y totalmente inadecuado para el propósito. No pudimos sentarnos o pararnos en el área y nuestras bebidas prepagas no estuvieron disponibles. Cuando intentamos hablar con el personal, fueron groseros, verbalmente agresivos y condescendientes. La gerencia no podría haber sido más desagradable y toda la experiencia puso un verdadero sabor amargo en nuestra noche. Recomendaría encarecidamente no ir aquí y SIN DUDA no pagar ningún dinero por adelantado.

We always bumped into the promotion team in town so we finally decided to actually go. I've never seen a night club so empty. There were maybe around 10 or so people inside when we arrived. Furthermore, there was no soap or toilet paper in the loos, staff were rude and looked like they didn't want to be there. The manager was extremely unhelpful and uninterested in what we had to say. A very, very grumpy old man. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting again.

Terrible management. Bouncers were nice but had no sway with the awful management and dumb lady at the entrance. They charged different prices for every group that enters based on how you look which is ridiculous. I was in a group of 8, 2 guys, 6 girls. Group of 2 guys and 2 girls entered first, girls got free entry, guys had to pay £5 each. Minute later 2 girls entered, had to pay £5 each. Minute later 2 girls entered and had to pay £2.50 each. Bouncers agreed it was wrong and they realised their mistake when they found out we were one group, but they didn't do anything to fix it, and insisted it was part of some policy which they had obviously made up on the spot. Prices when you get in are through the roof as well. Don't go here. Go to MooMoo's.

Was in Revolution with friends when a woman from the promotions team approached us, telling us that the place we were in was awful (to put it politely) and that thirteen degrees was better. We stayed in revolution until they closed and then went to thirteen where they had 3 customers inside the venue. Not surprised to see that the venue is up for sale, especially when they have to poach customers from other venues in Cheltenham. Rude door staff, rude promo team and rude staff including what I can only assume is the manager. If you’re looking for a good night out, avoid this place!

Have come in frequently for drinks in the past but recently the venue has gone downhill, rude management and dead atmosphere. Not impressed!

Horrid bullies on the door Visited the club for a friend's birthday and in typical "door man" style they refused entry to one of the group despite the other 9 of us paying entry because they didn't like the look of him. When I asked for my money back I was shoved around by the female bouncer and she tore my brand new coat. This was shortly followed by being pushed down the stairs by one of their other members of staff. I'm surprised I didn't come to more harm because the force was unjust. A similar incident had happened with a friend of mine a month of so before. This is a shame as I had visited this venue multiple times and organised multiple staff parties at this and their sister venue (Six Degrees). I will definitely not be visiting again and plan on letting everyone know about the bullies that work on the door.

Never been before last night, actually a pretty decent bar with clubroom downstairs! Definitely a good place to go if you're fed up with the usual moo moos or fever 😁👍

Went on a hen do as they played some truly classic tunes - unfortunately the DJ would only play about a minute of each one. The atmosphere is great and a lot of room to move. Tried to get a drink and after all three bar staff ignored us, decided to give up. It's great but needs an improvement. Good job we were drunk enough to stay. As we got in for free and didn't manage to buy a drink, I think the joke is on them. Imagine how much money they could make if they served their customers...

Visited Thirteen on Saturday night and loved it! We had visited 6 Degrees on Regent Street earlier in the night for some cocktails and were given a receipt for free entry with them! When we got there the place was busy but we found a great spot in the bar to the left of the front door and were served at our table by a really friendly barman. My only suggestion is to arrive early if you want to get somewhere to sit!

Having never been out in Cheltenham and trying to organise a really special night for my sisters hen do, I was keen to have a chat with someone from the club - just general questions like 'what sort of music', 'best arrival time' etc. Absolute nightmare to get hold of anyone and not forthcoming at all with any helpful info. I should have recognised these alarm bells but I went ahead anyway and booked a table in the 'red room' (£240) - this included 2 bottles of spirits, mixers and entry for 15 people. The red room is a pretty bare rectangle room with a bar along the edge. A tad disappointing but not the end of the world. After a while of dancing around, a couple of us had the not so good idea of trying to sit on the bar for a photo. Instead of a 'don't do that girls' or any sort of warning, it was a case of "get them out" from the manager. I appreciate the need to challenge us for getting over excited; I don't even have an issue with being asked to leave, but the manner of it all was absolutely rude and dismissive and it really upset me. So much so that I've created a trip advisor account and written my first review! The manager came across to me like an angry man on a power trip. If you are looking for somewhere nice that values and wants to do the best for their customers, I would definitely avoid this place.

The venue is always very busy, which is usually a positive for a nightclub, but the main room is so ridiculously crowded that you cannot get to the bar. If you do find a way to the bar, I have once seen a member of male bar staff in the main room taking a drunk man's credit card for payment, dashing over to a corner to write down their card details on a piece of paper, and then handing the card back to them! I quickly changed my mind about buying a drink after that.

This is properly the place place to go for a late night out clubbing, however its not great however if you're in Cheltenham and need a place to go this is the place I would go.

Beautiful drinks and great atmosphere particularly if there's live music! Tiny negative is the doors always open and quite small so can be a little chilly but less of a problem in summer.

Having been recommend a couple bars in Montpelier and Thirteen by friends who live in the area we decided to reserve guest list at Thirteen via there website. we received an email conformation stating we needed to arrive before 11:30 for free entry which seemed a little early but when we got there we could see why! -Door staff friendly enough, Bar service excellent throughout most of the night. -Décor classy and different in all rooms. - We all loved the atmosphere in the club, there was no trouble and a good group of people in the club. overall it was a great night out our group was mixed both male and female and it suited us all perfectly! we will be returning next trip to Cheltenham!!

What a relief to find this place! We had stumbled around the town for the first part of the night. Didn't find anywhere that justified the trip down to Cheltenham until we found Thirteen. The guys on the door were not keen on letting a group of 6 men in but i think they could see we were sensible folk, well dressed and just looking for a good night. They made us wait a little but as we were polite they let us in. It was worth the wait and glad they were doing such a strict job of who to let in as there was no idiots or trouble anywhere to be seen. Sadly thats rare these days. The place is sort of like a big town manor with lots of rooms. All very funky with really nice bars. The bars are very good, very london like with good staff. I think there are 3 floors but we only saw 2 because upstairs is for vips. Different music in the different floors. It was very busy (sat night). Had an amazing night and will be back soon.

Unfortunately my experience of Thirteen Degrees was terrible, in my top 3 of clubs NOT to go back to! Myself and two others had guest list with complementary entry but we were still made to que and pay to get in, despite showing the door staff my confirmation email. The door staff were very rude to us, unprovoked. Bar service was incredibly slow. Music was mostly poor, reminded me of a rubbish wedding disco. Atmosphere was rubbish (even though it was a Saturday night and busy), real shock after coming from the nice bars in Montpellier. Don't waste your time and money here.

I recently visited Thirteen degrees for a birthday party and had a fantastic night. Thirteen Degrees offers exclusive private dining in a chilled club atmosphere with the intimacy of your own space. The dining room room was beautifully lit and decorated making the occasion very special. The room set up was perfectly allowing the party to either sit in comfy booths or stand at the excusive bar area sipping cocktails before the food was served. The food was outstanding and the service was absolutely first class. When we were ready after dinner we made our way downstairs and explored the rest of 13 degrees. The red room for more cocktails, a great DJ at the main dance floor and live music in the basement - thirteen degrees has it all. I would without question use this venue again.

This was a rather exclusive experience, imagine a boutique nightclub in a Georgian building in Cheltenham with live acts singing in the basement , cocktails in the red room , the Dj in the main room then us in a private dining room in the VIP lounge at the top of the building. It had the feel of a 1920's movie with cool quirky decor and chilled club music. The room easily sat our group of 16 and I can honestly say the the food was just amazing! We had a sweet potato risotto to start that had a Parmesan tuile that was just to die for .. I even managed to steal another from across the table. The main was roast beef and yourkshire pudding with mix seasonal veg .. It was very much carve your own, more reminiscent of a chateaubriand ! Dessert was a fresh cream eaton mess with a hint on cinnamon and limoncello ..well that's what we decided after around 6 cocktails each ! As we had our own private bar and cocktail waiter! The service was impeccable and as you can see from my previous reviews , I can be rather unforgiving !! Overall I recommend this experience to anyone who fancies that intimidate dining experience where your the only guests in your own private restaurant and when you finish eating you are free to walk downstairs to 13 degrees club !
